Lip Treatments -Clarins - Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm
rated 4 of 5

This is a very nice lip balm. I would put this in the treatment category of lip balms. If you love Clarins, you will love this. I have a hard time with highly fragranced products. Clarins' products have very strong (usually floral) scents. Other than the smell, this is great. It is thick, it is hydrating, it does a good job. Oh, but it's expensive, too. Not sure if I would repurchase or not. There are other nice lip balms in the world for a smaller price tag.

Lotions/ Creams -Clarins - Hand and Nail Treatment Cream
rated 4 of 5
amygirl3540 11/14/2008 9:00:00 PM

Ok, overall this is a very nice hand/nail cream. The reason why I have it 4 lippies and not more less: pros: hydrating, softening, non-greasy, feels great cons: $$$, too much fragrance, mine came with a screw cap, not a fliptop. I got this as part of a holiday set with the lip balm. The lip balm is nice, softening, a moisture replenishing treatment, howver it also has a strong fragrance and is expensive.

LOVE the Almond Creme body lotion. I have not tried the shower gel yet...but, I think I might. The lotion has a great lasting scent. True almond. Feels great. Soaks in. One of my favorite lotions!!!

Works great. I've tried so many thermal styling products and this one is fabulous. I do all kinds of damage to my hair and now that I am using this and the Real Control products from Redken, my hair looks shiny, soft, and healthy again. It is easy to detangle, too!!! :)

Treatments -Redken - Real Control Thermal Resist

My hair is tangly and long and this product is a life saver! I spray it on my damp hair and then a wide tooth comb or brush just glides through my hair. I dry my hair and whether I'm going to be flat-ironing changes my next steps (I'll use the Redken Extreme Iron Repair). Anyway, this stuff is awesome. I've used this along with the hair mask from the Real Control line and they are the best. In the past I have tried many products: Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Matrix, Pureology, TIGI/Bedhead, Graham Webb, and the list goes on. I am now back to using Redken b/c these new products are so awesome. My hair is soft, shiny, and healthy! A little bit from Redken's website: Why It Works: *Lightweight leave-in spray instantly detangles, repairs and conditions heat-damaged hair *Helps defend hair against additional heat damage *Hair looks and feels strong, healthy and revived

Treatments -Redken - Real Control Intense Renewal Super Moisturizing Mask

UPDATE: This just doesn't work for me anymore. I am currently in love with Kerastase. Expensive, but fabulous. This tub of mask is HUGE and not bad price-wise. This smells very similar to the So Long products Redken had a few years ago. I liked it at first, but for a mask it isn't that intense or hydrating. It is just an ok conditioner. I'm sorry it didn't continue to meet my needs.

I love the Chanel Glossimers, although they are quite expensive. They last long, they are thick and not sticky. Blizzard looks like a frosty pinky/mauve on me. Very nice. Love it.

Bath Treatments -Origins - float away
rated 5 of 5
amygirl3540 10/14/2008 9:43:00 PM

Soak away the stress with this Origins milk bath. *DOES NOT MAKE BUBBLES* It is not supposed to be a bubble bath, this is a milk bath. The water will look kind of milky and it will be soft and enveloping in a lovely, relaxing aroma. It is a bit pricey, but you do not need to use much. It's great for those who are just looking to de-stress and relax in a nice warm milk bath, minus the milk smell.

Skincare - Body -Origins - Sleep Time
rated 4 of 5
amygirl3540 10/14/2008 9:40:00 PM

I actually like this. My cousin also keeps this in her bedside table, too. It has a nice light scent and you just rub it into your pulse points and inhale the "sleep" aroma. It may not work for anyone, but I think the scent is very relaxing. It's a bit pricey, though! I prefer the Float Away Milk Bath. Ahhh!

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Lemon Aid
rated 3 of 5
amygirl3540 10/13/2008 10:42:00 PM

Ok, I wanted to love this. I like the concept, I think it would work if I had differen't skintone, but I must be too pink? Anyway, I tried this probably 2x and I just couldn't make it work for me. I think it would be great for someone else, which is why I didn't take off a bunch of lippies. The packaging is cute, convenient AND has a mirror. The product is smooth and easy to apply. It is just too yellow on me :(

Gels/Soaps -Crabtree & Evelyn - Goatmilk Triple-Milled Soap
rated 5 of 5
amygirl3540 10/5/2008 11:01:00 PM

I got these for my dad for Christmas a few years ago. He loves these soaps for next to his bathroom sink. They don't get mushy and they are not overly scented. They seem to last FOREVER. Overall, they are really nice. Will repurchase again!

Misc Beauty Tools -GoSmile - Touch Up
rated 4 of 5
amygirl3540 10/5/2008 10:18:00 PM

I like these. These little ampuoles are easy to use and convenient. Obviously these are meant for a touch up, hence the name. But, if you are on your way to a meeting or a date or something, you just whip one of these out and your smile is fresh, sparkling, and breath is clean and minty (or whatever other flavor you choose---peach, pear...) Anyway, I think these are a little pricy, but I still like them. I haven't used the B1's...and I am thinking about it. Strips and stuff are messy and annoying.

This is my HG for deodorant!!! I have tried everything...Secret, Secret Clinical, Dove, Mitchum, Dry Idea, the crazy stuff you put on at night that burns like you know what! Anyway, I got a sample of this and now I keep repurchasing. Scent is great. It's soft and smooth on my sensitive underarms AND no stinky pits. So lovely!!! Thanks DOVE for finally making my HG...now just don't discontinue it like you deodorant companies like to do!

Fragrances -Christiane Celle Calypso - Mimosa EDT
rated 5 of 5
amygirl3540 9/29/2008 7:35:00 PM

From the Christiane Celle Calypso website (for description): CALYPSO's signature scent is a blend of Mimosa, Rose and Jasmine topped with a splash of green leaves. $55 USD for 3.4oz. I have this in the candle and in the body lotion. I have worn this EDT many times as well. I love the scent. It lasts and is really lovely. I dont' usually like florals, but this blend is just right!
