I got this in shade 202. (MAC shade NC20). I have a lot of red marks left from acne and uneven skin tone. This covers them nicely but I still use concealer in red marks. Somehow it cakes no matter how I apply it (sponge or brush). I like that it has full coverage, but I can't deal with cakeyness. It seems to go fast because it's so finelly milled. I'm scared that I'll hit the pan soon. I like the magnetic clasp and the sponge seems to work well. I would like a more chic compact, not basic black. So far I'm loving it. Replaced my MAC Studio Fix Fluid and NARS loose powder. UPDATE 06/02/2008: I can already see the pan! wth...I've only used it 10-15 times.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 109 Small Contour Brush

Although this brush applies my Studio Fix Fluid foundation like a dream, it sheds like a mad dog! For the price, I would expect much better. I will be returning it for my 32 bucks.

Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder

Iīve been loyal to my Palladio rice papers for a while now. When I noticed my NARS loose powder oxidized horribly, I set a search for a translucent powder. Brands recommended on the MUA board were LM, NYC, MUFE and Palladio. I immediately searched for Palladio Rice Powder in Translucent. Since I didnīt find Translucent, I purchased it in Natural. Iīm loving it! Much better than any setting powder Iīve bought. The box needs some improvement (no doubt) but the NARS sifter isnīt that great either. I do notice that my T-zone is less oily, but I still need to blot around 3x daily. My skin is acne prone but under control. Havenīt had any breakouts (2 weeks now). Iīm a sucker for oriental themes though.

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Gentle Scrub

I buy this over and over because I like how it removes my flakes but wouldnīt dare to use it outside the shower because the beads are so hard to rinse off in the sink. The salicylic acid is a nice touch, funny how the "BHA" seems fancier. I like the citrus scent, itīs a nice wake-me up. However, I use Aveeno Brightening Daily Scrub when I wash my face am/pm (although the beads are very small, they do not irritate my acne prone skin).

Liquid -Cover Girl - Clean Makeup Fragrance Free [DISCONTINUED]

Although the color match was excellent (NC25 to Classic Ivory) and the coverage was decent, the added mineral oil made my face shiny. I donīt have an oily skin (just normal T-zone shine) but this makes me look sweaty. I used Nars Loose Powder to set the foundation and even though at first my skin looks dewy (in the good way), later in the day it becomes an oil slick. After re-reading the reviews, Iīm tempted to try again because it is such a great and inexpensive foundation. UPDATE 06/02/08> It may be great for others, but Classic Ivory isnt my shade (too pink). Will keep the rating b/c no brand can make a shade for everyone.

I received this in a swap. My skin is around NC25 and I like soft, sheer blushes. I like the look of freshness it gives to my face but I could do without the shimmer. I wouldnīt buy this blush. IMO there are better, cheaper blushes out there (Although the packaging is adorable).

After searching for ages for a sunscreen that wont irritate, breakout or turn my face into an oil slick...I FOUND IT! HG I bought this on eBay immediately after reading such wonderful reviews and asking for opinions on the Skin care board. The bottle I bought is 25 ml and I use it daily (2 weeks now) and still have more than 80% left. Sunscreen is a must for me since Iīm using AHA in my skin routine for my acne. I love it and I notice that my makeup looks great over it (good primer). Will buy forever and ever...Great product!

Conditioner -Garnier - Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque

I buy this over and over. Now that I have short hair, I find itīs crucial to apply this masque 3x a week. My hair holds its style better and has no frizzies. I have no other masques to compare it to though, but it seems to do the trick for me. Would like another container, maybe a squeeze bottle.

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Ski Slopes

I received this in a swap. The name is Slopes 17. The chat associate at the Bobbi Brown web site said that they were the same product. When I saw the blush, the first thing I thought was that it was identical to my MAC blushbaby. When I got home and applied it, I notice that it was a lot rosier and suited my complexion better than the MAC blush (NC25). I do not care for the screw top, I would prefer to be a flip top. Overall, nice product but wouldnīt of splurged on this blush (Thank goodness for swaps :D).

So soft! I bought this brush based on the reviews here. I canīt believe I was suffering with the BE kabuki (awful brush). This is a incredible and inexpensive brush. Doesnīt shed and applies my NARS loose powder beautifully.

First glossimer for me too :D Iīm a NC25 and this looks lovely on me. It is more brownish than MAC Lipglass in Lust but similar in consistency. The glossimer lasted thru a Carls Jr combo. It was a good buy since it will last a long time.

Iīve been thinking of getting this for a while and finally I did. Iīm a NC25 coloring and use DW in SAND. This shade is strongly yellow base but I find that it blends nicely with my skintone. I set it with a light touch of NARS loose powder. Iīm very happy with the coverage and I donīt find it heavy or cakey. I apply it with a sponge but Iīm going to try it with a fndt brush next. My skin is very acne prone and have several acne marks I need to cover. This has NOT BROKE ME OUT. Iīve been using DHC deep cleansing oil religiously to remove this and havenīt had a skin problem since. Iīll get the MAC pump for the bottle since I find it ridiculous to not include one since itīs a little pricey. I like it so far. Will update soon. UPDATE: 03/18/08. Although this did not break me out, it turned my face into an oil slick. Before, I blotted 2 times with minimal shine. On DW, I blotted 6x in a day and the tissue was saturated in oil. Will return to MAC SFF.

Beautiful pinkish nude on my NC25 skin. For me it has last a long time, prob more than a year. I want to try Chanel Giggle glossimer next, similar color.
