This is a very pretty buttery nude colour that has a wonderful aromatherapy quality! It smells like vanilla,butter cream,& caramel.It's quite moisturizing,fragrant but not overpowering, & leaves your lips slightly tingly.My only question is the price.$30 CDN I paid for this?? More than Chanel Glossimers?? I don't understand that for the life of me,b/c I honestly would rate the Chanel glossimers much higher than this one. If you don't mind forking over the dough - it's a really good lipgloss.Pull it out of your purse & watch your GF's faces turn green!!!

Treatments -Elysee - Pycnogenol Serum

I found this was about the only product by Elysee that was worth the expense of purchasing.I tried this line once,& was dissapointed with it overall.I liked this serum though.I really never gave it another thought about repurchasing,until I read the review just below mine that this helped reduce the appearance of spider veins! WOW - who knew??? I just might have to pick up another one of these to apply to the spider veins I'm starting to get & see if I get the same results!! Give this a whirl - it is a pretty good serum as far as serums go.I'm getting HUGE results though w/ Elizabeth Grant's Essence of Torriculum,so I'm sticking to this one & my Vitamin ACE caps by Dr.Grandel. Not too bad for the price,& worth a shot.:_)

Mascara -Rimmel - Volum' Eyes

WOW!!! Another Holy Grail mascara here!! I decided to try this after reading a review of this mascara in a magazine,& also b/c I really like the Rimmel Extreme Defintion. This mascara is similar to Extreme Definition.It has a comb applicator as well but the comb isn't as fine as in the aforementioned product.So what you get here is the same type of lash lengthening control,but a lot more drama.The mascara lasts me all day & doesn't irritate my allergy sensitive eyes.No running or smudging here.Now what I do is alternate between this one & Extreme Defintion - depending on how much drama I want to add to my look.A great product for a darn good buy.Can't go wrong here!! TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Glam Shine -Prima Donna

OMG!! I don't know if they have refined the L'Oreal Glam shines - but I just bought this 2 weeks ago & I've been wondering why I never paid attention to it before?! I really like light coloured glosses on me - I'm fair complected & sometimes I prefer to glam up my eyes.This colour is a beautiful nude/peach with a hint of silvery bronze shimmer that for me works day or night! I can wear it during the day time with toned down eye makeup & look natural,or wear it at night with a smoky eye look & the overall effect is 'Sex_AY'!!! It kind of reminds me of the look Shania Twain has in her 'I'm Gonna Getcha Good' vid!!!It's just a beautiful gloss that applies nicely & the colour is amazing.It's also one of the longest lasting lipglosses I've tried.The one I have has a sponge applicator & it works very well.The packaging is just the cutest you ever saw,& to be honest - this is the ONLY pale shaded lipgloss I own that I can wear by itself - & I have everything from Nars to Rimmel & everything in between.It has enough colour packed into it that you don't need to wear a nudey shade lipstick under to give it more depth!!! I really love this - I'll be repurchasing this one for sure.:_) G for GAWGEOUS Dahling!

Primer/ Corrector -Cat Cosmetics - Silk Purrfection

OMG - Liquid Velvet in a tiny tube!!!! You look at the tube at first & think 'My - that is small' - but as Cat says - just a little dab will do ya! I've never used a makeup primer before.Now that I've used Silk Purrfection - I wonder - why? This stuff is just terrific!!! Just a wee pea sized amount is all it takes to cover your entire face - & your neck if you want it too.I always have moisturized prior to makeup application - but this is different! So what I do is apply my serums first,my eye cream (can't go w/o that!) & then instead of my regular moisturizer -on went the 'pea sized' amount of Silk Purrfection.As I applied it I could feel the difference to my skin.It really does feel like velvet! Or Silk - yes that's a good word too - except silk is shiny,so that's why I prefer to call it liquid velvet.You do not get shine at all with this. You know how if you look at old classic movies from way way back - we're talking the 20's to the 50's,& all those actresses from those days had the most wonderful glamourous radiant look that you could just never put your finger on - why or how they looked like that?? With Silk Purrfection it was like a lighbulb going off for me - I found the SECRET!!! The other neat thing for me - I actually needed less foundation for flawless coverage! Yes!! I looked more natural than I have in years - & younger too!! The flawless appearance lasted me all day - 10 hours! Imagine the savings on your foundation?! You can actually get away with less of your products because with Silk Purrfection - you won't need much at all! I'm sold! I can't believe it has taken me this long in my years to get a grip & try a primer.I did a lot of research here on product review to read about the most common makeup primers,& glad I went with this one.So after experiencing for myself for a couple of weeks - I couldn't wait to share it. TWO THUMBS UP for Cat!!! This is one of the most brilliant m/u products I have ever seen!!!!! :_)

This is a beautiful shimmer powder that gives you a sparkly subtle glow without making you look like a disco diva or a porn star.A very generous amount of this silvery white velvet textured powder comes in a gorgeous packaged jar with a wonderful ample brush for application.I use it on my eyes,& decollete when I go somewhere special.I've used this product about 10 times & I still have a ton of it left!For best results,use this after you've moisturized.That means anywhere you plan to apply this - put the cream on first! Otherwise the powder won't stay at all on your skin.But if you want to add that little extra 'Glow' to your skin,give this a whirl.It's a wee bit pricey,but this jar is going to last you a good while!!! Fabulous!!!!!! Two Thumbs Up!!

I've had my Dermawand for about 3 years now.I love the way my skin feels when I use it,& the oxygenating fragrance you get when it touches your skin.It really does remind me of the clean scent left behind outdoors following a rain storm.I try to use it about 4 times a week.Sometimes I just get lazy & skip it.Though lately I've been trying to incorporate it each day.I use it right after I cleanse (just a cursory once over),just to prep the skin prior to using a facial mask and/or moisturizer.Once I apply eye cream & moisturizer I use it again,for a longer period of time - about 5 mins.The nice thing about this tool is, it can be used anywhere on your body, not just your face.Whereas muscle stimulating facial tools can only be used on your face.I do notice a difference.My skin is toned & not slack anywhere,& the texture is so rosy,fresh,& clean afterward you kind of get addicted to it!I think it's a great buy personally.I mean anything that's portable & quick that can be used to augment the texture & tone of the skin to me is a big plus.It wakes up the youthfulness of your complexion, & is a handy tool to have around when you have a pesky blemish.Just spend a few extra seconds going over that area in a circular motion - barely touching the skin so that you feel the tingling - & by the next morning you're laughing.That blemish is now virtually gone.Marvelous!!! I really love my Dermawand & am so glad I invested in it. TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!

Eyes -Jane - Radiation in Da Bomb

This is a beautiful colour! Medium purple with gorgeous silver shimmer through it.When you layer it on it's great for an evening look.I've even lightly applied it to wear to work - very lightly.And it looked great!! Quite a few ladies at work asked about it - & were sad when I reported which brand it was & what colour - b/c firstly we can't get Jane in Canada, second - the colour has been discontinued - HUH?!:_O Anyway this colour is versatile,lasts about 6 - 8 hours,& looks very pretty on. The es can migrate under your eyes when you apply it if you're not careful with the amount you use on your brush.It's similar to BE glimmers, & MAC pigments in application.Wonderful es - so pleased to have this in my MU collection!! TWO THUMBS UP!!

Lip Gloss -MAC - lipglass in PITTER-PATTER(all dolled up)

This is certainly an interesting colour.A cotton candy pink with lavender undertones.Goes on shiny & can be a bit tacky.You have to be careful when applying that you put just the right amount on.If you go overboard on this one - you will look like you should be driving the Barbie Dream Car.Very gurlie pink - Barbie Doll pink - if you're not careful.I find that lipglosses in tubes like this one can be difficult to apply well.Especially with the lipglasses b/c they are slightly thicker in texture compared to others in similar packaging - like L'Oreal Juicy tubes. Sometimes I find it's just best to use a lip brush when using this,it goes on more evenly if I do that.It can be difficult to get a good application & apply it evenly if you just use the tube to apply.As for the wearability factor - it lasts on the lips about 3 - 4 hrs which is pretty good. I find it's quite tacky & not as moisturizing as other lipglosses but it's pretty good.I place it second to Nars & Urban Decay XXX.Overall though - a darn good buy!! Can't wait to check out other MAC Lipglass colours - but first I need to rearrange a dresser to contain my MU.I'm running out of room over here :_O !!!!! LOL Mac gets a B for Brilliant! B/c once you put on that lipglass - your lips ARE brilliant!! Super shiny with beautiful colour.WOW!:_)

Not bad for a four layer facial but who has that kind of time???? I could have had my hair highlighted,& the remainder coloured in that time.I wish I had known that each layer takes 10 - 15 mins to dry before you move on.You're looking at nearly an hour PPL!! One hour for a mask?!!Though I suppose you could maximize your time & do some household chores while you wait.Heck you could clean the whole house!! The effect is nice but it's too tedious an effort for skin care.Just plain too much work.In this age of instant gratification, you just don't have the kind of time on your hands this requires.For that - THUMBS DOWN.

What a funky nail collection!!! I have this one in 'Peach Daiquiri' -it's a Hot Bright Orange colour with pink undertones,& reflective tiny sparkles in there.Gorgeous!!! The polish applies well - just like silk,dries fast & lasts & lasts - awesome!! You can't beat that in a drugstore brand. I say give this one a whirl - you won't be disappointed. CDN gurls - they're on special at Shoppers right now for $2. !!! Better than good drugstore brand!!!

Polishes -Caboodles - nail enamel

I have the Caboodles nail paint in 'Double Date' - which is a shimmery peach orange.It's the prettiest orange frosted nail polish I've even managed to find actually! The bottle is kind of retro looking - reminds me of packaging from the 70's.The wand of the brush is quite long...so you have to be careful because the polish tends to run down the wand to the brush,then you can run the risk of flooding your nail which is a PIA.The brush itself is fine,but the wand the brush is attached to is about 3 inches long- whomever designed that had no clue. As to the wearability I'd say it's very good.It lasts a good 7 days on me without any chips at all & you can't beat the colour.Caboodles has a pretty spiffy line of funky colours in pretty good quality for a drugstore brand line. Overall - TWO THUMBS UP!!!! :_)

I love the Revlon Lipglides!! The sheers are wonderful! This colour is exactly what you expect from the name - it's a beautiful watermelon colour & goes on like butter,with a nice applicator contoured for your lips.It's moisturizing & doesn't go on tacky or gummy in any way shape or form. It's just a buttery,sheer peachy pink colour that adds on tons of shine,& lasts for hours. Very good for a drugstore brand!!! TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!!!

I have this foundation in 2 - light. It provides good coverage & is easy to apply.It makes your skin feel soft too.Ever since I started wearing BE foundation & then added in the mineral veil to my daily applications,PPL can't stop commenting on my complexion!Somebody today said "Can I ask what foundation you use? Your skin is gorgeous & it looks natural!" I wrote down the BE website for her to check it out b/c we can't get it yet in Canada.BE has become my HG in foundation, & now I'm dying to try their blushes.I really like this concept of mineral makeup.What a clever invention this is! It's just totally amazing,can't say enough about BE!!! G for GAWGEOUS DAHLING!

I guess this colour looks different on everyone.On me it looks like a pale copper with hints of pink.It looks very pretty with my light green eyes.Really makes them pop! The product can be messy if it's your first time using BE glimmers - just a little bit goes a long way in application & coverage.I use an eyeshadow brush to apply it, just need to very lightly dip it in the product & I'm all set! So when you think about it that way,even thought it comes in a tiny jar - you're really scoring on product here!The colour lasts a good long time too.What a beautiful way to make up your eyes. I love it! TWO THUMBS UP FOR BE!!!!!!!
