I love this color & texture. This is a Matte2 texture shadow which (I found out after being SHOWN by a MAC artist) is smoother and easier to blend than the regular Matte finish shadows. The color payoff is good & the texture is pretty creamy for a MAC shadow (of course, not as good as some other brands - UD for one)... but it lasts for at least 12 hours. The color itself is a dark purple (with the burgandy undertone - instead of blue). It looks great on Brown eyes & tan skin... (I love it with golds). And is one of the colors I would recommend for ANY skin/eye color.

Bath Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Vitesse Shock Treatment (anti-cellulite)

I picked this anti-cellulite treatment up at Marshalls for about $4. I would not buy this again, even for this price. The container claims a visible reduction in cellulite in 4 weeks. I've been using this faithfully as directed for 4 weeks and haven't even seen ONE FEWER dent of cellulite. The gel is to be applied & massaged in twice daily. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly and leaves a cooling feeling. It provides slight moisturizing. Overall, because this doesn't really moistize TOO much, and did not do ANYTHING for my cellulite, I would not buy this again. I can try a different lotion for the price. It WOULD, however, be good in the summer because of how it cools the skin, is light, and absorbs quickly.

Brows -Clinique - Brow Shaper

I really do like this product. The set consists of a mini brow brush and a powder. The brush is nice and stiff and angled - GREAT for shading in the eyebrows. The powder is good. True to color & highly pigmented. Has minimal fallout but COULD be a *BIT* 'waxier' (for more 'shaping' than 'coloring in'). Staying power is good and the shade will not fade for at least 12 hours (the longest I've worn it). The container is sexy: a silver box with a slide out drawer. Overall, a high quality brow shader. The only thinng that is 'wrong' with this is the price (about $28)... I'm sure I could find a similar product for half as much.

I reeally like this scent. It's clean, fresh and light. The fragrance is definately not overpowering, but tends to fade in about 6 hours.

Unlike most people, I found this fragrance did have A LOT of staying power... I just don't like the fragrance. I sprayed it on my forearm, and it lasted through the next day. I tend to like, light, fresh, clean fragrances and this is a stronger one. It reminds me of flowers & 'laundry soap.' If you don't mind flowery fragrances, this one might be okay for you. If you like clean, fresh ones - you probably won't. But you never know how it smells on you until you try it.

This product actually works. I was really suprised. The poduct is the consistancy of a thick gel (think vaseline). I applied to my entire face at night CONSISTANTLY, and for a while (at least a month), but all of the sudden I realized my dark spots (left over from pimples) had faded CONSIDERABLY. I haven't used it recently, only because I can't find it. It dindn't break out my already acne prone skin. And though it does have a LIGHT scent, it is not offensive, overpowering, or perfume-y. I would pay much more than the cost of this product and will DEFINATELY purchase this again!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shadestick - Corn

I got this shade stick in a swap (which means its probably a little old) but it still applies *smooth* & *creamy*. THe color is a yellowy gold (I expected plain yellow). The longevity could be improved, but overall I will definately use this and am glad I swapped for it. I think it would be best as a base and used with yellows, reds, oranges and pinks. The intensity of the yellow in the gold might make it look strange with greens, blues and purples. The shadestick itself is long enough to last a LONG time, even if used daily. This was my first shadestick & it definately won't be my last :)

I don't really like this product. o It comes out as a cream and dries to a powdery finish. - I found the powdery finish to be a little TOO powdery for me. + It comes with a useful brush that fits conviently into the continer. - the packaging kind could be improved because you have to squeeze out the amount you want to use (which ends up being too much, weather you try to do it in two small amounts or all-in-one shot), and then (sometimes) continues to squeeze out after you've stopped applying pressure. It waste's the product. Overall, I won't be repurchasing (in any color) & will be finding a creamier one in a different brand.

I like this product. The color is nice, medium warm brown with a finish similar to a 'satin'. It lasts for at least 12 hours (I didn't keep it on long enough to test past that) - but it wasn't fading at that point. The formula is creamy but can be a bit chunky. and it DOES NOT irritate my eyes. It comes off easily with my regular eye make-up routine, but (like other, more expensive eyeliners) can stick betwen the hairs IN the lashline). The package comes with a mini brush that has VERY hard bristles. I use this brush (even though I have others) because its nice & tiny - allowing me to get in really close to the mirror. I use this on myupper lash line & it works great - I have not and will not use it on my lower lash line - it seems alittle too chunky for that. Overall, I would have no problem re-purchasing this item. But, I will probably try another brand just to see the differences in the brown color.

I like this cream eyeshadow. This product (in THIS color) was my first purchase of the line & it inspired me to grab another 3 different colors. The color is plain, strong, satin/matte black. I like this cream eyeshadow. The color is pretty (a medium/dark, matte purple w/ more of a 'red' undertone than 'blue'). - it does not 'pop' I purchased this in sevearal colors, but this one I like the least. The color isn't as strong as the others & it didn't seem to 'stick' as well as the others either. The package comes with a mini brush that has VERY hard bristles. I use this brush (even though I have others) because its nice & tiny - allowing me to get in really close to the mirror. THe formula is creamy but can be a bit chunky. and it DOES NOT irritate my eyes. It comes off easily with my regular eye make-up routine, but (like other, more expensive eyeliners) can stick betwen the hairs IN the lashline). I use this on my upper lash line & it works great - I have not and will not use it on my lower lash line - it seems alittle too chunky for that. Overall, I would probably not repurchase this color again, I'd try a similar formula in a different brand. But, this is NOT a bad product.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Pearberry

PearBerry is a great scent that smells like pears mixed with berries (strawberries + rasberries) [and, in my opinion, a bit of peach]. I really love the scent, and prefer it in lotion form more than body spray (light scent lingers longer with the lotion). The scent is a little sweet, which CAN be overpowering, and may cause people to 'grow out of it', but again that could just be personal preference (as I don't generally like 'sweet' fragrances). Would I waer it as a perfume? No. - For the reasons stated here. Overall, this smells wonderful but is hard to find sometimes (as the scent has been discontinued). You can find it online (sometimes), and when BBW has thier big sales. I don't buy too many scents from BBW, but this is one of the few that I always snatch up.

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+

I've had 2 bottles of this (the old-school hairspray pump style & this new better looking pump style). The new bottle is good because you can 'lock' it by twisting the top so it won't pump all the time and it kinda 'click' into place so it won't re-open just from rolling around a little bit). The spray is light and refreshing, and smells a little flowery/pleasant (rosewater?). I personally don't like spraying scented things on my face, but it doesn't seem to break me out. It feels like you're spritzing a fine mist of scented water on your face (part of the reason it scored badly on price), but (on the plus side) doesn't feel heavy at all. I do not use this every day. I use this (1) as a mixing medium for pressed shadows & loose pigments (2) to make my powdery make-up not look so powdery (3) when I need to refresh my face. Did I feel gypped? not really. I would purchase this again if I had extra money laying around, but it's not a priority for me.

Mascara -Clinique - high definition lashes

I got this as a package. I LOVE THIS MASCARA! It has become my first official HG! Apparently the mascara comes with either a traditional wand, or a wand that also has both a brush & a comb at the same end. I have the dual sided one. This mascara: goes on smooth Doesn't clump. Allows me to get at the tiny, microscopic lashes on the inside corners w/o making me leave a big glob on that area. Has a pigmented formula. Is convienient (comb & brush on same end of wand). Doesn't smell weird. Does not irritate my (contact wearing) eyes. Lasts all day (I sometimes have watery eyes) w/o smudging Comes off reasonably with a quick rinse of water, 'steep' for 10-30 seconds w/baby oil or makeup remvoer. What's not to like about this? I got this for free but I will DEFINATELY re-purchase. I love this mascara so much that I don't even want to TRY anything else! (I have a dior mascara waiting for me as well as a Px classic that I haven't even opened up. I want to use this mascara a much as I can before my 6months (of 'good use') is up). DO NOT PASS UP THIS MASCARA. TRY IT.
