Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - HIP Jelly Balm [DISCONTINUED]

I guess I'm just not a lip balm type of girl. The tub packaging drove me up the wall in disgust due to 1.) its unhygienic & 2.) its gross to have to apply with my fingers. On the other hand, I was please to find it was a glass jar and not some flimsy plastic container. The balm its self isn't very moisturizing, & the color isn't opaque. But it does give your lips shine, + lasting power. Last but not least - it smells absolutely delicious, slightly reminds me of vanilla. I would not repurchase. I'll stick to chapstick & Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Eye Shadow Single - Seashell
LorelaiNoah 4/10/2010 10:39:00 PM
Neutral toned baby pink shade. Its very light & frosty, so I use it as a highlighter color or all over my lid with a dark plum crease for a glamorous look. ;) Nothing amazing, but they are decent eye shadows.
I bought this for $4 at TJ Maxx, only bought it there because I was too much of a whimp to purchase it full price at Ulta. Boy am I glad I didn't pay $20 for it. This is nasty. It dried out my hair, smells horrible, and did more damage than repair. The only pro is it made my hair reallllly shiny. I usually don't care about shine, but after using this masque I realized it does matter. I guess I'll be purchasing a shine serum in the near future, but I'll definitely never repurchase this crap!

Pros: -Decent packaging. Cons: -Smells rancid. -Doesn't do ANYTHING to improve my skin. -Stung my eyes. Would not repurchase.
Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Sweet Treats - Pretty in Pink

I LOVE THIS! Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture online to add to my review. I'm assuming that's because this is a rather new or small company. However I can assure you the packaging is adorable! It comes in a bottle with mini cupcakes all over and a light blue ribbon. I purchased it as an impulse buy at TJ Maxx for only $3.99. Boy I am glad I did! Its 16 fl oz & smells + works just as good as high end shower gels. The scent is very similar to Victoria's Secret in Candy, Baby. (Which in turn, is very similar to Aquolina's Pink Sugar.) The only difference I could detect was Sweet Treats is a bit more sugary. Bubbles up great for a bubble bath, but also cleanses decently if used as a body wash. I am in love, & will definitely repurchase.
BEAUTIFUL! Packed with purple toned glitter. Retails for less than $3 at walmart and works just as good as some of the high end brands. I will say however the only flaw is you need to put a top coat over this to smooth it down a bit. (Glitter makes the texture rough.) I'll definitely repurchase.
Pros: - 18 oz for only $3! (Purchased at walmart.) - Higher quality than some high end brands!!! - Cleans great without overdrying. I was able to remove all of my heavy make up with this only using a dime sized amount. - Very gentle & won't irritate sensitive skin. - Smells okay. I prefer fresher & fruity shower gel scents - but this doesn't smell bad by any means. - Decent packaging. - The gel itself looks like melted gold. Cons: -None. I'm definitely going to repurchase, but in a different scent. :)
I like this! I picked up a 4oz tube for only $3 at a local walmart. It's very creamy, moisturizes great, & doesn't smell rancid like some non-scented lotions do. I'd definitely repurchase.
I wish I could have tested this before purchasing. However there were no testers, & I trusted Victoria's Secret too much. The souffle itself is not too bad. It does have a very whipped-like texture & is moisturizing. The scent on the other hand...is non existent. I could rub my nose in this stuff & still not detect a single whiff of it. All in all...I'd reccomend the Body Whip Moisture Cream...but in a different scent. Next time I'll be sure to pick up Cupquake.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Drama Clean refreshing shampoo
LorelaiNoah 4/5/2010 4:42:00 PM
I'd only repurchase this if I needed a cheap, non moisturizing shampoo. It smelled good & did a great job at cleaning my hair without leaving it with a COMPLETELY stripped feeling. May not be HG status, but its far from bad. ;)
Absolutely disgusting. Pros: -Absolutely none. Cons: -STINGS lips. -Dehydrates lips. -Smells & tastes rancid. -Super sticky. -Expensive. Out of all the failed products I've tried, this is by far the worst lip gloss I've across. I'll stick to Revlon Super Lustrous.
Treatments -Biore - Ultra Deep Cleansing pore strips

Cons: -Did not clear out any blackheads. -Left residue on my nose that was a pain to wash off. -The residue, in turn, broke my nose out in cystic acne a few days later. -Sort of expensive. $10. I now use Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle & Clean n Clear Sensitive Skin Astringent to get rid of impurities. Works 1000x better & is much more cost effective in the long run.
Brows -Ulta - Ultimate Brows Shade and Shaper Pencil-Ash Blonde
LorelaiNoah 4/2/2010 5:43:00 PM
Pros: -Cool toned. (Really hard to find in an eyebrow pencil..most are warmed toned). -Good quality. Cons: -Half of the pencil is wax, so you don't get much for your money. I would only purchase this again if I couldn't find Fling by MAC. However my HG eyebrow pencil is Prestige in blonde (only costs $4).
Love love love Ulta eye shadows. Are they my HG eye shadows? No. But definitely the runner up candidate. (Revlon is my HG). Ulta recent reformulated their cosmetics. Now the eye shadows, blushes, ect are MUCH more pigmented & have the Ulta logo imprinted upon them. Although I wasn't thrilled with the blushes being changed, this was definitely a great move for the eyeshadows! Long lasting, gorgeous colors, highly pigmented, tons of shade choices, decent price, high quality...I'd reccomend these to any make up addict.
I can think of 30 drugstore eyeliners that can beat MUFE's Aqua Eyes Waterproof eyeliner. Price-wise & quality-wise. -Smudged a lot -Weird waxy consistency -Dull black color...looked leathery -Expensive -Hard to sharpen I would not repurchase nor reccomend.
