Same as no color (see review). This definately adds bronze so go easy, I mix it with the no color and it works well.

Pressed Powders -Sally Hansen - Line Smoothing Mineral Powder-No Color Glow
Kammers10 8/19/2008 8:11:00 PM
GREAT concept, but needs some tweaking. First, compact is STUPID. Powder on top, mirror and brush UNDERNEATH. I know it's to keep the brush and powder sanitary, but it is very awkward. Also, the brush SUCKS. I've tried regular powder brushes, can't get any powder! So, have taken mine and made it into a loose powder. Also, it's pretty thick, so use a light hand. And I don't care for glow on my nose, so end up using a matte powder there. Otherwise great product, does make my skin look glowing!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - Turquoise
Kammers10 8/19/2008 8:02:00 PM
WOW! I was expecting gawdy, but this is a BEAUTIFUL matte turquoise. I bought it for a beach trip, to go with my turquoise hat, tote, and summer colored shirts/tropical. Very highly pigmented, texture smooth, definately not a "wash" color (or me anyway), but great as contour/liner. My nieces and future daughter in law LOVED this color, now I have ideas for birthdays, etc. Not an everyday color but will be when at the beach or in a tropical mode...only complaint, I prefer a little shimmer in most shadows, but this is still gorgeous!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - Crystal Waters
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:58:00 PM
Bought this for a beach trip, had these colors a couple of years ago. The quality of the shadows is SO much better!!! The lid color is a minty very little hint of lime color, the crease is a really pretty shimmery medium blue, the highlighter a frosty white, the liner/contour is a gorgeous deep blue. They are more pigmented than the old version so unless you want to look like Mimi use a light hand. I won't use these every day, they're definately not neutral so at work, etc. unless your coloring can handle these colors, I will use for a night out, OR a day at the beach...or when I want it to pickup colors of a shirt I'm wearing, OR an aqua/turquoise shirt (goes great! screw the concept of don't try to match the shadows to the clothes-it makes a difference! Doesn't have no purple shadows with purple shirts-I think it brings out the color of BOTH).

Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Eyebrightener, Natural Eyelight(powder)
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:51:00 PM
I love the compact itself, and the pan. I wish there was a law, ALL eyeshadows must be the .5 MAC size!!! It comes with a mirror and applicator. This is a GREAT overall highlighter, multi colored but ends up a nice neutral whitish-beige, so works with ANY eyeshadow colors.

Eye Shadow -Almay - Eyeshadow trios
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:48:00 PM
This is a great concept-colors that enhance your eye color. FINALLY. The quality of these shadows is overall good, but not EVERY color-ie Plum lid color in Play up the Greens. And I think the lid colors are a little too frosty, technically, make up artists would use more of a matte lid (a little shimmer fine). As the contour and highlight colors have shimmer, it's a little too much shimmer overall, IMHO. Also, the containers are nice if you like a portable container, but no mirror, and the tiny applicator only works good for contouring. As I have hazel/brown eyes, I have Bring Out and Play Up trios for those colors,so I have 4 compacts! So I depot them and stick them in a palette, like an empty Jane 10 color palette. So overall, 4 lippies with some changes 5, I would pay more to have a mirror, even more if they used MAC's palette concept sometimes. But a drugstore item it probably wouldn't sell as well if it were much more expensive...

Eye Shadow -Almay - Bring out the Green
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:41:00 PM
I don't have green eyes, hazel/brown, but like the trios, had purchased Play up the Green so wanted the Bring out...the lid color is a VERY pretty rose, neutral-not really warm or cool. Goes on MUCH better than the plum lid in Play up the Green. Crease color very nice wine/raisin/cranberry, not too dark, LOVE the color. Highlighter kind of a rosy beige, very pretty. I normally don't wear any contour color but gray, blue, green, plum or purple, not many browns (would have to be a cool brown, NW23), if I did this would be the trio! Very impressive.

Eye Shadow -Almay - Bring out the Blue
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:38:00 PM
No I don't have blue eyes but like the Almay trios...the colors did nothing for me, I should've known. Lid color-coppery, totally gawdy on me, and IMHO too bright for the trio. Middle brown ok, highlighter beige/sand ok, too warm for me. Sigh. It was fun trying...

Eye Shadow -Almay - Almay Intense i-Color Eye Shadow Play Up Trio for Greens
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:29:00 PM
Don't have green eyes, hazel/brown, but liked the colors. Same complaint as others have about the Plum lid shadow-not very pigmented, doesn't go on smoothly. The contour green is pretty, kind of forest green with shimmer, but also not as smooth as some of the other Almay shadows. The green highlighter-RU kidding me? Maybe for evening, or teenagers, didn't work on me.

Eye Shadow -Almay - Intense i-color Play Up Trio for Blues
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:26:00 PM
I don't have blue eyes but like this blue, the copper lid color is VERY bright. May work for blue eyes or other coloring, but HORRID on me. The contour blue is pretty, a nice basic blue. The highlighter blue also somewhat horrid, maybe on someone else....won't buy again as I would buy only for the contour blue, which isn't the best blue I've ever had..and being in a funky rectangular shape doesn't work with pans in a palette..

Eyeliner -Prestige - Waterproof Automatic Eyeliner in Black
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:23:00 PM
This is my HG black. Goes on smoothly, stays on, self-sharpening, I love this liner. NO shimmer, I like shimmery liners but hard to find one that stays on as long...

Eyeliner -Prestige - Water-Proof Automatic Liner in Midnight Blue
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:21:00 PM
OOPS! Put this originally in Black, darn it. My HG basic blue-kind of a marine blue, but not bright blue, not as dark as navy. Goes on smoothly, lasts awhile (esp w/shadow over or under it), and SELF SHARPENING! Love this liner.

Eyeliner -Prestige - Waterproof Eyeliner - Surf
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:16:00 PM
I bought this because it has a slight shimmer, wanted a different blue (Midnight Blue is my staple blue). It's a pretty color, good texture, looks ok with my NW23 coloring, but nothing spectacular. AND you have to use a sharpener. The self sharpening are so much easier and economical!

Eyeliner -Prestige - Waterproof Automatic Eyeliner - Smoke
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:14:00 PM
This is my HG gray pencil. Basic dark gray pencil. Good quality, pretty smooth texture, and stays on pretty well. I use this almost daily. Even stays on as long as MAC's Powerpoint.

Eyeliner -Prestige - waterproof/automatic eyeliner in "lightning"
Kammers10 8/19/2008 7:12:00 PM
Wow, it is a bright color-bright like lightning. A dark non-frosty or shimmery green, kind of a bright forest green color. Very nice for the holidays, or to go with green shadow/clothing, etc. a little dark for me (NW 23), but for evenings or Christmas, I do use this. And it stays on really well. Prestige is the ONLY pencil liner I buy if I want one that stays on, decent price, and has the color I'm looking for.
