Mascara -Rimmel - Volume Flash The Max
rated 3 of 5

This mascara is ok. Ive got great lashes thanx to careprost which is the generic of latisse and i just thought this mascara might amplify them more. Well it did somewhat. Gave good volume, but you cannot layer it without major clumping. It flaked a tad bit by days end. Washed off easily and packaging is cute and pink. Better ds mascaras out there.

If you are nc30 or darker and would like to look like a corpse this is the color for you. It not only dried my lips out but made me look like i was dead. I adore nude lips but this one more than washed me out, it made me look sickly.

Treatments (Eye) -L'Oreal - Lash Boosting Serum
rated 3 of 5
Justicet2009 3/22/2010 11:07:00 PM

I just wanted to let you girls know that if you are already using an eyelash growth product such as latisse, lilash, rapidlash or careprost, do not use this product. Alone it is wonderful but mixed with other stimulators its not pretty. Your lashes will cycle much faster, leaving you sparse and gappy in spots. I learned this the hard way and my derm verified this was the culprit. Other than that product itself works well, you need to be patient as results are not immediate.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Shock Gloss 3D Magnifying Lipgloss
rated 2 of 5
Justicet2009 3/22/2010 10:53:00 PM

This gloss is soooo shiney and wet looking. Nice pigment in the shades too. However, the formula is a little too sticky and gloppy. It tends to migrate over my lips even if i use lipliner. This is really annoying because it looks like i put my lipgloss on blind folded using my feet.

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
rated 1 of 5
Justicet2009 3/22/2010 10:46:00 PM

This is actually a stronger product than most people think it is. Does it work, well yes, but with some consequence. For starters, this is supossed to be oil free. Could of fooled me, my eyes stay greasy after using this, which means i have to use soap to remove the oily residue. That means im already using two products to cleanse the gentle area of skin on and around my eyes. This actually ends up drying my eye area out more, which we all no can cause wrinkles. Someone said on here she noticed fine lines appear she never had. Shes right ladies, it happens. Theres to much activity going on at once. Cleaning to remove your makeup and then cleaning again to remove your makeup remover. Doesnt make sense and is definately damaging.

Blush -Revlon - Cream Blush - Berry Flirtatious
rated 2 of 5
Justicet2009 3/22/2010 10:34:00 PM

I love the raspberry color of this blush. It looks very bright in the packaging but actually goes on very natural looking, almost like a flushing effect. The formula is very creamy and blends quite well. However, the staying power is aweful. After a couple of hours its vanished off my cheeks completely. The price is quite steep for a ds blush. It costs about $10 which isnt really worth it when it needs to be applied several times a day. Packaging is also very bulky bc of the hidden slide out mirror so it isnt very purse friendly. Will not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Glitter Brilliant - Reflects Antique Gold
rated 4 of 5
Justicet2009 3/21/2010 7:01:00 PM

I tend to shy away from glittery products bc of my age lol, im 38! However, this pigment works great when mixed with fix plus and foiled onto the lid over macs blacktrack gel liner. It makes your eyes look very 1900 peasent girly. The shine and sparkle catch light and really emphasize your eye color. My eyes are brown and when wearing this pigment, they almost look rust color. This pops so much gold in my eyes. It looks amazing. There is some fall out, hence its glitter, but this is easily controlled by the fix plus and a swipe of translucent powder under your eye. All in all, i love this.

Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Blending Sponge
rated 5 of 5
Justicet2009 3/21/2010 12:43:00 AM

I have used the beauty blender sponge from saphora for about a year. The sponge held up quite well under heavy use, but was worn out so i retired it and purchased sonia kashucks blender sponge as its replacement. I am so pleasently surprised. This sponge works amazing. I use it wet to apply my liquid and cream foundations and wet for my mmu. The application of all these products goes on smooth, and look completely airblush. I put some product onto the rounder end and bounce the ball on my face quickly. This effortly blended my foundatiin making it look perfect. I also use the sponge for concealer and blush application. This product is amazing. Try it you love it. Cleans very easily with abs.

Blush -MAC - Blush Ombre -Azalea Blossom
rated 5 of 5
Justicet2009 3/20/2010 11:59:00 PM

Ladies: please read this whole tutorial, it will tell you more info on blush than youll ever imagine. It is a very helpful guide to finding the perfect blush. I purchased this blush for many reasons. For starters the color pallet is amazing, purple lilac grading into a soft baby pink. I learned alot about blushes in this months issue of womens health magazine. I always chose blush by skin tone. Im an nc30 girl, very olive complected with very yellow undertones. I chose deeper colors, peach, browns, and neutrals. After reading this 3 page article called cheek cheat sheet, i learned its not hair or skin tone that matter, its eyecolor. I have brown eyes and it said to use berry hues, that brown eyes have a yellow base and pinky plums will make your eyes really pop. This blush was reccommended and boy oh boy were they right. Green eyed gals use any shade of pink to make eyes appear greener and more striking. Blue eyed gals use peach or icy pinks to draw attention to the eye. Hazel gals use pinks with violet undertones it plays up the iris's mix of green, charchol and amber. What not to wear ladies, brown eyes, keep away from neutrals and browns, they blend into yellow undertones of the eye making you look drab. Green eyed, stay away from deep plums, they nuetralize any gold flecks and reduce green color of iris. Blue eyes, no plums of any kind, it minimizes your eyes not enhances them. Hazel gals, orangy pinks are your no no, they dull the base color of grey in the hazel and can make your skin color look dull. Hope these tips work to helping everyone find their perfect blush. Also here are reccommendation blushes for every eyecolor. Brown:azalea blossom from mac and rimmel's summer fever. Blue:carnation from shiseido or blush 6 from muf. Green:cream blush in pink from elizabeth arden or amalfi from cargo. Hazel:nyc in mauvin uptown or brilliant berry from lancome. From womens health to me, to all the ladies who love blush, but never know which one to buy.

Concealers -Sonia Kashuk - Hidden Agenda Concealer Kit
rated 1 of 5
Justicet2009 3/20/2010 1:33:00 PM

This concealer kit is just ok. The formula is very dry and somewhat cakey on my skin. The colors tend to come off a bit ashy on my nc30 skin tone. These are not very blend friendly either. I literally have to rub this on the back of my hand for a good 15 seconds to get the formula a little creamier. This to me is not really worth the money bc there are far better ds concealers out there that work much better than this one does.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Whipped Strawberries [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
Justicet2009 3/19/2010 3:09:00 PM

I bought this product while on vacation bc i dropped my Nars orgasm and shattered it in a billion pieces. I used this blush before in pink frosting but that color was completely sold out. I saw the whipped strawberries and although skeptical of the barbie doll pink color decided to give it a fair shot. So glad i did. Thos color is amazing. The perfect pink blush that complemented my nc30 skin tone. Loved it.

I really enjoy using this blush. My skin is oily so i have to really watch the creamy products that i use, however, this blush looks great on. The consistancy is fluffy and creamy. This blends so well on me. Never makes me oily, wears quite long too.
