Treatments (Eye) -Origins - No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes
ErinElizabeth 6/12/2006 6:31:00 PM
Wow, this stuff is amazing! The first time I used it, I could feel the skin around my eyes tightening and losing its puffiness. This is a wonderful product for an allergy sufferer like myself. A teeny tiny droplet is all you need for both eyes. Chances are, it'll go bad before I have a chance to use an entire tube. This is my HG eye product. I gave my mom a tube, and she loves it as well. I think this is one of the best products that Origins makes. My other Origins faves are A Perfect World White Tea Skin Guardian and their sleep-inducing products.

Scrubs -Origins - Swept Away
ErinElizabeth 6/12/2006 6:18:00 PM
Despite the fact that the scrubbing granules in this product are gentle, my skin got extremely irritated. My face turned beet red and actually hurt after I used this stuff. Maybe I'm just allergic to something in the product. I will definitely not repurchase.

Scrubs -DHC - facial scrub
ErinElizabeth 6/12/2006 6:13:00 PM
I received a sample of this with my most recent DHC catalog, and I absolutely love it! It really gets rid of dead skin cells and brightens my skin considerably. I definitely want to order the full-size product because my sample was only enough for one use. Great product! I'll definitely be ordering this again and again.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beauty Marked
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 10:34:00 PM
This is a gorgeous pinky-purple and looks stunning with green and blue eyes. I wear this with MAC's Shroom for a punchy -- yet pretty -- eye look. It's one of my favorite eye shadows ever, and I've tried probably over 100 shades.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Stars N Rockets
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 10:31:00 PM
I thought it would be fun to try a really daring color from MAC, and this is just that. I like how it's really smoky when I apply only a little bit. As with most in-your-face MAC shadows, a little goes a really long way. The red glitter is really fun, but it makes this color best for a nighttime look.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Electric Eel
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 10:28:00 PM
This is an absolutely gorgeous matte shadow that really makes green eyes pop. It does look really loud in the pan, and it goes on exactly as you'd expect. My only reason for not giving this 5 lippies is that it's somewhat difficult to remove.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Swimming
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 10:25:00 PM
This is a fun, sparkly green that goes perfectly with my green eyes. I love how a little goes a long way, therefore making the product last a very long time. I think if I do run out before this product expires, I'll definitely repurchase it.

Moisturizers -DHC - Extra Nighttime Moisture

I received a sample of this with my catalog and loved it. It's rich, but it doesn't clog my pores. A little bit of this goes a long way, so it's well worth the money.

Bath Treatments -Bath and Body Works - Bubble Bath
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 3:49:00 AM
I LOVE Bath and Body Works bubble bath! I have it in Juniper Breeze, Fresh Vanilla, Brown Sugar & Fig, and Cucumber Melon. They all foam up well, but the one that foams up the best is Cucumber Melon. I'm not sure why that is though. This is a fantastic product! I wish it came in every signature scent that BBW makes since so many of their fragrances are wonderful.

Fragrances -Clinique - Happy In Bloom
ErinElizabeth 6/11/2006 3:43:00 AM
I spritzed this on at a department store in the hopes of finding another great Clinque fragrance. Sadly, this smelled very cheap and average. I much prefer my Happy to Be, Happy Heart, and Happy fragrances.

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Green Clover and Aloe Refreshing Shower Gel
ErinElizabeth 6/7/2006 11:19:00 PM
I just bought this at the semi-annual sale for only $3. I love the clean, fresh scent of this product! The notes in it are green grass, clover, and aloe. A little bit of this lathers up very nicely on BBW shower poufs, which is wonderful after getting no lather from other companies' products. You can buy this online year-round, but it's been discontinued in stores. I really like this stuff and think I will probably buy more when I run out of my curent bottle.

Polishes -Milani - Bijou Bronze
ErinElizabeth 6/7/2006 6:12:00 PM
This is the most perfect nail polish! The color is a gorgeous, deep bronze with subtle shimmer. I especially love the brush because it doesn't get glopped up with polish. It's also narrow enough to get the sides of my nails without touching my fingertips. Since it's under $3, I won't be too upset if this winds up chipping easily. However, judging from the rave reviews for Milani nail polishes on this site, I don't think it's going to chip quickly at all.

Conditioner -Pantene - Classic Care Conditioner
ErinElizabeth 6/5/2006 5:48:00 PM
This stuff works wonderfully! I used to put it only on the ends of my hair for fear that it would weigh down the roots. However, I put it on all over my hair last night and my hair looks better that ever. My hair is manageable and looks so pretty now. Plus this conditioner protects against tangles. Before I started using this, my hair would snarl far too easily. Now that I've discovered this stuff and am pairing it with The Body Shop Manuka shampoo, my hair stays smooth all day. Plus I have fewer tangles in my long hair when I wake up in the morning. I don't think I've ever found a more perfect conditioner for my long, thick hair. I'll defintely be buying this again and again.

Shampoo -The Body Shop - Manuka Scalp Care Shampoo
ErinElizabeth 6/5/2006 5:41:00 PM
My hair is FINALLY manageable now that I'm using TBS Manuka shampoo. Not to mention that my scalp is no longer irritated and flaky! The only strange thing about this shampoo is that it made the curly part of my hair extra curly. The scent is a little strange -- kinda like an herb garden. It doesn't smell like medicine the way that Head & Shoulders and Selsun do. Thank God! This stuff does exactly what it's supposed to do and is my new HG shampoo. I like to pair it with Pantene conditioner on the ends of my hair for some extra shine. I'm planning on using only this shampoo from here on out because it's so fabulous.

Makeup Brushes -The Body Shop - Face/ Body Brush
ErinElizabeth 6/3/2006 9:47:00 PM
This is one of my favorite brushes ever! It's so soft and swirls exactly the right amount of powder, blush, or bronzer onto my face. I've had mine for over a year, and it hasn't lost a single bristle. It's absolutely worth the $26.50.
