I tried a sample of this and lets just say that I'm in love with this serum. The first day I tried this on with the radiance cream (no foundation) and I got so many compliments from strangers saying that my skin was glowing and was looking so healthy. This is pure luxury but it also has many added benefits namely hydrations, anti-aging, and makes your skin glow. I will admit that the smell of this product is disgusting but thankfully it does not linger. The radiance cream however smells great. This serum has numerous gold particles in it which is really cool to look at too. One downfall for me apart from the price is that gives me a tanned look which I dislike. I will not buy the full size bottle becaus I much prefer my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate paired with Bobbi Brown Extra Balm (for night) and for the day I prefer my Clarins sunscreen paired with the La Prarie Skin Caviar Cristalline Concentrate. This combination is PERFECTION for me.

Lip Gloss -Chantecaille - brilliant gloss

These glosses are AMAZING! I thought Chanel glosses were good but these just beat all the glosses out of the water for me because its everything I want a gloss to be - light, non-sticky, fragrance free, sheer, hydrating, and gorgeous packaging. It retails for $38 Cdn but will purchase always. I have Charm, Love, and Modern. My turly HG lipglosses!

Sunscreen -Kiehls - Super Fluid UV Defense Spf 50+

My HG sunscreen hands down. This is very light, goes on smooth, absorbs quickly, doesn't break me out, evens out my skin tone, and has spf 50!!! I'm on my second bottle. Doesn't make me look oily, greasy,or shiny. I even got my husband hooked on this and we're both very very picky with sunscreens. Love it! Did I mention its reasonably priced too? Will purchase forever! Edit jan 2012: No longer my HG because for some reason it doesn't suit my skin anymore. It burns my skin upon application and also the smell of this product seems to be very chemical-ly. I was on my 3rd bottle when it started this and had to give it away. Now using Chanel sunscreen and its very good too for now.

Moisturizers -Sisley - All Day All Year - Essential Day Care

I would have never purchased this product if it wasn't for my friend who has fabulous skin and she recommened that I use this plus the Ecological Compund. What also drew me into the Sisley line is that its based on natural/plant extracts. ADAY is a good moisturizer (for my skin type - normal/combination - oilier in the summer, drier in the winter) during the summer months and I can go without putting Ecological under it (but in the winter, I need to layer both during the day). This is a nice cream texture with a very pleasant smell. It provides 8 hour protection for my skin which is fantastic but yes, its not for those who are avid sun-bathers. Its for those who are city-goers only due to the low spf factor. I love it because i'm a total city gal and am not in the sun that much. Upon using this cream my skin does feel very smooth, supple, radiant and protected. It also creates a great canvas for foundation application and/or additional sunscreen if needed. It retails for $475 Cdn (before taxes) for a 50ml bottle, so its super pricey but I will buy this again without hesitation. This is my staple skincare product.

Moisturizers -Sisley - Ecological Compound

I agree with many MUAers that this is greasy and sort of a heavy emulsion. For this reason alone I use it only at night before my moisturizer. I was going to ditch this product because of the reasons mentioned above plus it makes me sweat (especially on my nose, upper lip area, and my forehead/temple area) like crazy during these hot summer months BUT I've noticed a huge improvement in my skin since I started using this product. I tried using this during the day with All Day All Year but it was just too heavy and too much layering for the summer months, so now I just use this emulsion in the evening. My skin is more supple, softer and smoother upon using this emulsion so I will repurchase this even though it costs $270 for a 125ml (which isn't bad considering the size of the product). I also love the smell of this product and its packaging. This is a keeper for me. BTW I'm normal/combination skin - oilier in the summer months but drier in the winter months. EDIT (Aug 2011): I reduced the lippies to 3 because even though I love the concept, what it does for rmy skin, and the smell of this product, I cannot stand the fact that it makes me look like a greaseball and it makes me feel like its suffocating my skin/pores. I find that this product is just another extra step and layer on my skin. I prefer La Mer cream as it does the same thing i.e. gives the same results without the extra step. Will use this up during the winter months but will not repurchase.

Cleansers -Sisley - Buff and Wash Botanical Face Gel

This is my HG daily scrub. I really love everything about it - the texture, the beads are just the right size, non-abrasive, cleanses off easily with water, the smell, the packaging - except the pricetag ($120 Cdn (before taxes) and size of this product (only 100ml). I find this perfect for everyday morning cleansing instead of my cleanser, however, in order to make it last longer I'm using it on alternate days. I also love the 'Phyto Blanc Buff & Wash Gel' which brightens my complexion but retails for $130 Cdn (before taxes) for a 100 ml. I love them both!!!

Cleansers -Sisley - Phyto Blanc Lightening Foaming Cleanser

This is a fantastic cleanser. It foams up beautifully when in contact with water and it leaves my skin squeaky clean without the dryness. I use this usually in the evening to remove makeup and to give me that very clean feeling. I love Sisley products in general but the Phyto Blanc line is superb. I also love using the Phyto Blanc Buff & Wash Gel every other morning (would like to use it every morning but its quite pricey). Definite repurchase. Oh btw, this clenaser retails for $130 Cdn (before taxes).

Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Creme de Rose 001

I'm not a huge fan of CD but I do like this lip balm. I use this only at night as a treatment for my lips to re-hydrate them. I will admit that it does work however, I find it too greasy for my liking. I don't like the feeling of greasiness on my lips when I wake up in the morning (contrary to many MUAers here). I do like the sublte rose scent which dissipates soon after application. I must say that its my personal opinion that this is wayyyy/much much better than just petroleum jelly and/or other drugstore and/or departement store lip balms out there. I will repurchase.

Toners -L'Occitane - Immortelle Brightening water

I have not used toners for a very long time since I find them useless and couldn't be bothered with them in my skincare regime. BUT this toner is what got me into using toners again. I really love this toner. It really energizes my senses and skin whenever i use it as it smells great (of daisies). It softens my skin while making it smooth, refreshed, and calm. The bottle is nice too as it allows for control of how much product should come out. The texture is exactly like water hence its not greasy and does not leave a film on my skin (which is important to me). Not to mention, its natural!!! I really look forward to using this day and night in my routine. Its a pleasure to use. I will buy this always. Its $30 Cdn (before taxes) for 200 ml so a pretty good buy. I love the L'Occitane Immortelle Precious and Brightening line.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E Concentrated Cream

I don't like the smell of Cocoa butter so I bought this in the lotion version (that has Vitamin E in it as well) as I am a huge fan of Shea Butters. It did seem to nicely moisturize my skin but I just cannot stand the smell of this product. It smells too herbal and/or green for my nose. I tried to use it up but due to the smell I'm using this as a foot cream only. Not repurchaisng this.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmer's Shea Butter Lotion

I don't like the smell of Cocoa butter so I bought this lotion (that has Vitamin E in it as well) as I am a huge fan of Shea Butters. It did seem to nicely moisturize my skin but I just cannot stand the smell of this product. It smells too herbal and/or green for my nose. I tried to use it up but due to the smell I'm using this as a foot cream only. Not repurchaisng this.

Lotions/ Creams -Clarins - Moisture-Rich Body Lotion

Ok, so I used to use Clarins a long time ago - face and body skincare - but was not impressed with it at all, hence steered clear of it until now. I tried this body cream and fell in love with it immediately. At first I was not impressed (for the first 10 mins of putting this on) as it felt greasy but after 10 mins or so,the greasiness started to disappear and I was left with soft, supple, and very smooth skin. Not to mention, the smell of this cream is divine. Its just a very clean smell which I fell in love with instantly. Can't explain but definitely not fruity and neither flowery nor gourmand. Just a clean, mature scent which I wish came in a perfume version so that I could use it everyday to soothe and calm my senses. I am very impressed with this product and will be repurchasing. I wish this came in a pot type container so that I can use every last bit of this divine cream, but for now I'll have to make do with the tube type container.

Liquid -Sisley - Oil Free Fluid Foundation

This foundation is hands-down the BEST foundation out there in the market. Prior to this it was Chanel Teint Innocence but after that got discontinued and had enough problems looking for another HG foundation, I stumbled across this one. Mind you this foundation (like all Sisley products) is outrageously priced at $130 Cdn (before taxes) BUT I bought it and do NOT regret buying it. It gives me the luminosity and glow from within that I want. It is long lasting for sure and does not become blotchy during the day nor does it change colour during the day. The texture of this foundation is very light and I don't even feel like I'm wearing foundation - its literally 'My face but better'. I will warn those heavy coverage foundation lovers that this is a very sheer foundation and will only even out my skintone (which I love) as I don't like the heavy coverage. For an oil-free foundation I was not expecting it to provide me with a glow/luminosity but am ESTATIC that it does! I use #1+ and its the PERFECT match for my NC20 skintone. This is my HG foundation and now I just hope it won't get discontinued! Keeping my fingers crossed. Wish I could give this 10 lippies and more!

Liquid -Sisley - Phyto Tient Eclat Oil-Free Foundation

Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

I didn't know what I was missng until I came across this lip balm. This is all what I wanted my lip balm to be - moisturizing, smells great, fabulous packaging, SPF, and a hint of colour (natural colour of my lips) that just makes my lips look and feel gorgeous. I am in love with this lip balm. I will continue to purchase this forever. My HG tinted lip balm for sure. Please be aware though that this product is so soft that it simply melts/breaks off when applying during warmer months which may result in wastage unfortunately.
