I decided to give this forumla a try, since I've been on a coconut kick lately. I have to say that like the other herbal essences products that I've used, I was very satisfied with the results. The smell is wonderful AND its so different than all of the other fake sweet flower scents that a lot of shampoos have. The scent is absolutely fabulous, calming and smooth. The results were fabulous too, and I DO have dry hair from 3 bleachings and numerous colorings with semi-permanent color. The formula was gentle on my hair, didnt strip my color and left it clean and soft. I will use this in conjucntion with other conditioners I have (as ive found that using the same conditioner more than 2x in a row tends to leave my hair limp.) as long as I switch it out with my other products it should be fine. Did i mention that it also restored SHINE to my hair which was missing? This has become a HG conditioner for me and Im considering buying an extra bottle for backup. The price is right and also the shampoo/cond. is a pretty light blue color, and rinses out easily. I agree that not everyone may like it, because everyone's hair is different, but if it does wonders for your hair then you can enjoy the results. 5 out of 5 lippies!!

This is a delightful, fun scent. I don't understand why so many don't like it.. it must be their body chemistry. This is the kind of fragrance that would only compliment *some* women because of this. So if you have the right chemistry to rock this fragrance then go for it. I suggest a sample test first. I notice a lot of orange blossom, citrus, lavender with some middle notes of peony and ylang-ylang. Im not a fan of ylang- but overall its a nice addition. This would be a fun summertime fragrance, nothing to be used for the rare special occasion. Why not just enjoy this fragrance when you don't want to waste spritzes of your 70$ perfume.

Yay!! I have the lotion but it does not even compare to the bodywash and the perfume, both of which have a fresh clean scent, and very enjoyable to use. I like this product and I used it often in the summer when it first came out. I would repurchase but Im not sure its available anymore.

Simply Basic Romantics Cotton Boquet Sensuous Body Lotion was sold at Wal-mart a few years ago. The lotion is a bright blue color and smells very strong and fragrant out of the bottle. It is a shimmer lotion so I subtracted 1 lippie because I don't like shimmers, but I didn't realize that this was a shimmer lotion when i bought it. The shimmer is VERY noticeable and takes a long time to fade.. ugh.. The side of the bottle says: " In all of its lush abundance, masses of leafy greens harmonize with nuances of rose and jasmine, as powdery woods and exotic musk complete this soft and sensuous garden of dreams." This is a complex description of the very simple almost chemical fragrance of this lotion. It is the kind of scent that you wish would develop into something good but it just never seems to materialize. It is fresh and airy but chemical at first and definitely smells better on the dry-down. I had the perfume and it smelled a lot better than the lotion. Minus 2 lippies for disappointing fragrance. But this lotion is not a total bomb. Its a cheap, fun scent that is appropriate for the summer, especially after a day at the beach, and so its not completely a loss. It is moisturizing but it also may have alcohol in it because it dries very fast, which negates the moisturizing effect. Will not repurchase. I had my fun with it but that was long ago.

Another WOW product. I can tell that this is the kind of product you either like or you dont - but i found that it really cleanses my skin, and shrinks any pores .. it really cleared things up for me and helps me to keep my skin in balance. So, I use it once a week to keep my skin clear and bright. I switch it up with my regular st ives mask, because the julep mask is deeper cleaning, and I dont want to upset my skin's balance. Im purchasing once i run out.

This is a really nice and light floral feminine perfume. I love the name too, and the bottle is cute. I picked up the edt and edp + the lotion. I really like it. Its my first time wearing it and it is very pleasant and soothing, and not too expensive either. Its definitely worth it! I would repurchase. I think this is a good buy.

Hair -Aveeno - Nourish + Revitalize

WOW is all I can say for this product.. just.. wow! I struggled for a long time to find a supplement conditioner for my usual herbal essences conditioner and this did the trick. I switch between them so that I don't have a buildup. This conditioner has all of the benefits of a more expensive brand but without the high cost. I actually got to the end of the bottle on this and I will definitely repurchase when I get the opportunity. I don't have good luck with the aveeno line, but this conditioner is definitely one of my favorites. It leaves my hair conditioned without weight, it is very moisturizing and also, it has a fresh clean scent. My hair soaks it in and makes it so easy to comb through. I LOVE this stuff...My cap broke, though so i had to use it with the cap off. EDIT: I just realized by reading some of the other reviews of this product that it contains silicone - EEK! Well, i dont like silicone but this conditioner has done wonders for my hair.. so now im left wondering..

Conditioner -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Straight Ahead Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this product because my hair is coarse and wavy sometimes, depending on how my hair is dried. I found that this conditioner did nothing to control frizz, nor did it ease my hair into straightness. I do not believe that this product lived up to it's claims. I found it to be very thick, and it weighed my hair down. I think it made my hair *more* frizzy. And my hair was not soft, and it was not straight, or less wavy either. Ugh. The chemicals in this are unbelievable. Lots of alchohol compounds (cetearyl alcohol, Benzyl Alchohol) Waxes, (cetyl Esters) Silicone, (Cyclopentasiloxane, a silicone, Dimethiconol, a silica) ... and an interesting addition: Behentrimonium chloride, {wiki: an irritating, toxic, and slightly flammable yellow waxlike organic compound, used as an antistatic agent and a disinfectant. In water treatment, it acts as an algaecide.} Gross! no wonder my hair was a weighed down, dried-out mess. I have the feeling that the people who gave this a positive review also use the other john frieda products which are also loaded with silicone and waxes, so they might have better luck with this product than I do with my non-siliconed hair. I dont use cones and I had no idea that this product had cones in it until i read the ingredients recently. I am usually able to live with a bad purchase and finish the bottle but this stuff leaves my hair wrecked. So im not finishing the bottle, and i'm discarding it, will not repurchase. And it was pricey for a drugstore brand conditioner, too. I learned my lesson with silicone and john freida. Seriously....can I rate it a 0 ? :-)

The best way to describe this scent is to say that this is a *classic* fragrance. Tabu by Dana was developed in 1932 by Jean Charles. "Tabu was created by perfumer Jean Carles (working for Roure under Louis Amic). The perfume brief he was given (so the story goes) required him to create "un parfum de puta" — a perfume suitable for a loose woman. Thus was Tabu created in 1932. " - (from the perfumeprojects . com website) - no doubt it was designer in its heyday. Do not get this fragrance unless you enjoy classical scent. It is a scent that wears heavy and dries down quickly to a flowery, powdery musk. I was introduced to this fragrance back in the 80's.. my mother had a bottle of it, and she was *very* discerning when it came to fragrance. She liked bold, classic scents that could stand the test of time - aromas that show class and style. You will enjoy this fragrance best if you enjoy bold, powdery florals and spice. It is a complex aroma. It could be classed as a soft floral woody oriental. Either you like it or you don't. Wearing scent is like wearing a color - whatever color or scent you choose, it should be a compliment to your style and personality. Its available in the spray bottle as shown on the picture, easy to use.. I will repurchase once I run out.

Zhane is offered as a free sample in some places on the net. I got my sample, which was in a small bottle-style with a plastic tester. This fragrance was also packed very nicely and had a beautiful card that came with it. The fragrance itself is nice! It is a sweet floral scent, with a hint of white floral. I smell jasmine, white floral with a hint of sweet, powdery musk. It is a long lasting fragrance with a smooth drydown. I would describe it as 'clear' - meaning that the scent is strong, forward, definitely not delicate or too complicated. It has a classical fragrance put into a modern package! I really like this fragrance and I will consider purchasing it when my sample runs out.

Polishes -Sinful - Innocent

This is one of the best polish formulas for Sinful Colors that I have ever tried. The color is Innocent, number 944. It is a leafy or lime spring green, a solid creme color without the glitter or opalescence pr pearlescense. It is a bright color, bordering on a pastel. The consistency is creamy, too and it covers in one stroke.. To be sure, i painted over them with three coats total. My nails have not chipped in an entire week, they still look as nice as they did in the beginning. I am always on the lookout for greens, and Sinful is the only brand that has this creamy bright green color. Cost is low and the bottle and brush are easy to use. It is a fun color for the spring. I will repurchase if/when I ever run out.

WOW the color of this item is perfect, it looks like a shimmery pearly pink, without being too light or too dark. I really like the formula even though its a tad sticky (but thats most lipglosses anyway) it tastes fruity and fun and its easy to apply. When I run out i will be re-ordering again. I LOVE e.l.f. !!

Fragrances -Escada - Marine Groove

This perfume is sweet with a hint of marine in it, but barely a hint. It reminds you of the kind of fragrance that you can take with you from the beach into a late night dinner. It is floral more than anything else. I smell passion fruit, jasmine and peony, with a musk undernote. It's not the fragrance for me but it is nice all the same. The bottle is very pretty!!

I bought this a few years ago in my search for a makeup remover. The towelettes weren't doing the trick so I thought a cream like this would be good for removing stubborn eye makeup. The scent IS soothing, and the tub style is easy to use. EDIT: Ok, after leaving this on my shelf I went back to it and I found that it's not half bad when I use it in conjunction with my Loreal Skin Genesis cleanser. I can use it to remove my mascara/eyeliner and it does a great job at that. I still have to rinse it away with my skin cleanser but afterward my skin is soft and glowing. No breakouts as long as its rinsed away completely. I would rather use this product than baby oil or mineral oil anyway. I guess I wasn't using it right before, but now it has come in handy. I changed my rating.

Lotions/ Creams -Bodycology - Coconut Lime

I have never tried the bodycology line before, so when i received this as a gift, I thought it was exciting! I got the bodywash and the lotion together in a package and both were trial size. The scent is fabulous but it smells even better on the skin. Its a delicious lime and coconut scent. You can smell the lime more than the coconut - but for a drugstore product I was surprised that it didnt smell cheap and overdone like some drugstore products can. It soaked up very easily and didnt leave a trace of greasiness behind. Its best used after a shower or bath with the other bodycology item in this series, the coconut and lime bodywash. Together they are delightful In all, i enjoyed using this lotion along with the bodywash. The price is right and so I think that i dont mind splurging on this product (or the others in this line) whenever i want to relax and enjoy the wonderful scent of lime and coconut. It does the trick for a drugstore brand, and im surprised at the quality, its great. The bottle is nice and i like how the bodywash is pearlescent I just wish i had gotten the spray too!! I would definitely repurchase.
