Eye Shadow -MAC - Gorgeous Gold (Veluxe Pearl)

Agggh! Love this color! Pairs well with just about anything! A subtle yellowish gold with flashes of a subtle green! Let the compliments role in when I wear this with Freshwater VP. This new formulation is to die for. I wish all of MAC's e/s were this blendable and vibrant!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cornflower Pigment

Damn you MAC manufacturers for making this non-eye safe! But who cares, I use it on my eyes anyway! Bad bad me . . . It's such a beautiful unique violet-ish blue color that looks lovely paired with Dark Soul (also not eye safe!), Fairylite (once again NOT eye safe), Golden Olive, or even Rose! The consistency is nice and it adheres very well to the lids, especially when MAC Paints are applied underneath. My only complaint is the Non-ES status of course, but that never stopped me before! *goes blind*

Palettes -Urban Decay - Sell Out Face Case

One of my first m/u palettes ever! Roach and X are my two favorite everyday e/s. Sometimes with a little Polyster Bride or Midnight Cowboy as highlighter and lower lashes. Not too crazy about the lip stuff since the e/s and blush powder have settled into them! X is also a lovely subtle blush. Great buy for anyone who's into "subtler" looks. Minus the outlandish glitter content, which is my main complaint with the e/s and I <3 glitter!!!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Roach eyeshadow

I have this in the Sell Out Case and I <3 it! Paired with X e/s, it's the perfect everyday look. Nicely pigmented and has to be one of the easiest e/s EVER to blend with. I would marry it if I could. Seriously!

Eye Shadow -Milani - Taffy (10)
GimpyPoop 12/19/2004 1:10:00 PM
Out of my meager collection of Milani e/s, I like this least, but it's great as a highlighter. Wonderful pigmentation for this pale frosty pink! Definitely worth the $3.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Enchantment (07)
GimpyPoop 12/19/2004 1:09:00 PM
This is not a terribly pigmented e/s, but for the price it's a steal of a deal! Looks faboo with Atlantis! The MAC MAs kept complimenting me when I wore that combo. I'm sure it would be lovely as a wash . . . must try that next!

Eye Shadow -Milani - Atlantis [06]

This is fricking AWESOME for a $3 shadow! Two MA at the MAC store comment on how lovely my eye m/u was when I comboed it with Enchantment and they never say anything when I actually use MAC e/s. The manager there even made a cute remark about how sometimes the best kinds of e/s are the cheap ones. ;) It's HIGHLY pigmented and has decent staying power. The ONLY down side is that I haven't used it half a dozen of time and the e/s started cracking and flaking in the pan. Nothing a little alcohol won't fix. A must have over Electic Eel at 1/4 the price!
EDIT: I had to take away two lippie because this little sucker has shattered on me despite no outright rough handling! It's probably the flakiest eyeshadow I own. I’ve fixed it with alcohol, but it looks like it’s ready to crack up again. Ugh, no biggie, just $2.99 lost, but how annoying! Was this review helpful to you? Yes No
Misc Beauty Tools -Tweezerman - tweezers

LOVE THEM LIKE A LONG LOST LOVER! Seriously, I had three pairs (though my ex-boyfriend stole a pair, grrr). Very effective in gripping the TINIEST of hairs, even the barely surfaced ones along my bikini line. I don't know what what I was thinking with all my cheap drugstore tweezers! I've even bought them for my friends, I will sing the gospel until I die!

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint

I hate that the Benetint people tell me it's "crushed rose petals" when I know full and well "carmine" means crushed beetles, but I guess it's a marketing scheme or whatever! ;) I tried it at the department store and was not overly impressed . . . but I bet that bottle lasts eons and eons! Not my bag of tea at all!
