This is so gorgeous. It starts out as a fresh musk, then the rose comes out, a very deep lovely rose, then the dry down on me is a deep,sensual ambergris and musk. Ummmm.Heavenly.

I have a sample vial and it is too "spice rack at the supermarket" for me. On me it smells like carrot and spice cake ingredients.

I thought this would be a nice sexy honey scent however on me it was like taking some pancake syrup from the diner table and putting it on. way to strong on the syrup note.

I needed to comment again because whenever I wear this I get so many comments!!! Someone said it smelled like a yankee candle, another girl in the office said it she smelled cherries!!! LOL

Very pretty feminine and sweet. Iam not a rose fan but the blackberry note and wild rose really bring out the sweetness. I layered it with a berry body lotion to further bring out the sweetness......yummy. I hope this will be around for a while. It is a rather large bottle for the price. Layering with a lotion definitely prolongs the fragrance. One of the girls at work said as I reached over to get a chip said."ummm. what's that sweet smell you are wearing?" If you don[t like sweet smells you might not like this one and may want to stick to the original Paris. It is very uncomplicated which makes it better sometimes too many notes spoil the rose note but to me it is wonderfully sweet. Wild roses are sweet smelling also, so I guess that is why the blackberry note makes it so delicious.

This is definitely unique, what a different rose scent. I usually am turned off by rose scents as they tend to invoke "older woman" perfumes. However, this one is different, plum, patchouly, and a touch of rose is how it is described. It definitely evolves and changes as you wear it. Soft, sexy, and sweet but not too sweet.

Humm, I have been comparing L'Artisan passage d'enfer to this one, and I think this is much better!!! Nice incensy smell, warm,spicy and sexy!!!

I have a sample vial and it spilled in my car and Ihave to say it smelled good!!! However,Im not sure how I like it on myself. Someone said it was good as an air freshener so Im not so sure about the green note

I have a sample of this and I think it is gorgeous!! It is a soft jasmine scent intermingled with musk which makes it very sexy, and unique. It doesn't smell like the others in the MPG line. It is not a harsh jasmine I find Jasmal to be too strong and green. Worth a try very sophisticated!!!

Someone posted that this smells of bananas ....so true!!!! I check the description and it doesn't have bananas in it it does have passionfruit, vanilla, and blackcurrant so I guess all of this combined lends to the "banana" effect. Im trying to pick out an MPG fragrance and I just don't think this is it although it is unique.

I recently became interested in "incense" perfumes so I tested this one out last night spritzed some on in the store and was not impressed. although it did last thru the evening. I was sort of dank musty and not as "incensey" as I thought it was going to be. Update, I changed my mind this is light and incensy very wearable, I layered it with dkny black cashmere. Ummmm divine.

I agree with most of the comments of this being very strong at first. I originally got a sample of this and sniffed it first and thought of a harsh household cleaner, Don't sniff this!!! You really have to spritz this on your skin and wait at least 1/2 hr to get the beautiful essence of this perfume. IT is really gorgeous, I usually like the oriental, vanilla, fruit scents but this is really elegant. When it dries down it is very soft and fresh smelling, like you just took a shower, uplifting, sunshiney and happy even on a cold winter day like today !!! Im not sure if this would be cloying in the warm weather, I guess you don't need to spritz as much. I just cant believe this is an eau de toilette and not even an eau de parfum because this has staying power just like an eau de parfum. Also wanted to add that this has a deep mysterious note to it I can't describe? . Update went to the dentist office and one of the girls made a comment "umm what's that perfume you are wearing" definitely unique.

Does this fragrance contain the datura flower in it or does it just mimic the smell? Update I used up the sample vial I have and I am impressed with the smell however It is too soft on me and only lasts not even an hour.
