Pressed Powders -Revlon - Get Golden (Shimmer powder)

This looked limited edition, so I bought one as soon as I saw it in Revlon's holiday collection. The shimmer is moderate, neither blatant nor nonexistent. It gives my face a soft glow. I use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

A great toner. It doesn't burn my skin like other toners, but leaves a pleasant tingling sensation. It also takes off any dirt that my cleanser didn't wash off.

Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme

I love this thick, moisturizing creme. Whenever my hands are extremely dry, I find that this is what I need, rather than a runny lotion. The smell is also great. I'm always opening the jar to smell the wonderful banana scent.

It's greasy, but it does the job. When my feet are sorely dry, I rub this in and my skin is instantaneously soft.

Scrubs -Burt's Bees - Citrus Facial Scrub

This is a great scrub. I add a few drops of water to make a paste and then scrub my face with it. It has a great citrus scent. I might not buy it often because St. Ives is more available, but I'll pick this up when I have the chance.

A nice beige-pink color. It's cool-toned, but it still works with my warm complexion. Nice smell and consistency.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

I am loving this product. Sandy Beige is perfect for my skintone. Sometimes I accidentally smear on too much, which makes my face look greasy and made-up later on in the day, but normally this looks spectacular. I've been having trouble finding my beloved Jane Stay Calm foundation, but now this is a possible HG foundation.

Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Pearls of Perfection

I have "Natural Pearl," which is shimmery and white. I use it on browbones and on the center of my lids on top of a darker color--it's too pale to wear just by itself. I also use it as a highlighter for my cheeks and forehead. Sometimes they spill out when I swirl a brush over them, so I have to be careful during application.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Chopper Eye Shadow

Chopper has a lot of glitter, like most UD shadows, which I have to be careful with, since I don't want it all over my face. Although, it's a great copper color. Other copper shadows turn out to be too dark or muddy, but this one is just right.

Eye Shadow -Hard Candy - Eye Candy in Lollipop

Lollipop is a peach-beige color. It looks matte when I first put it on, but eventually I see some shimmer. I also find it a little hard to blend. I think with a few more bucks I could've bought a MAC eye shadow that I would have been more satisfied with.

Eye Shadow -New York Color - Sparkle Eye Dust - Champagne

I don't really like loose powder eye shadows because I tend to spill them, but the container is spill-proof. It comes with a lid and the brush's handle covers the entire opening, so only a little eye shadow gets dispensed on the brush everytime I dip it in. It's a nice, shimmery, beige/tan color. I thought it would be a little darker, which is my only complaint.

At first I wondered where the color was when I applied it. I waited a minute for the color to set in and I saw a wonderful yllb shade. It's a little darker than my natural lip color. Good for a no fuss look.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Nymphette lipglass

I didn't want to buy this at first, because it looks hideously frosty and cool-toned in the tube. I read the rave reviews here and decided to purchase it, with no regrets. It's a gorgeous, pale rose with golden flecks. Another favorite from MAC.

Eyeliner -Sephora - Jumbo Eye Pencil - Grey 511Y

I used to use grey eye shadow to line my eyes, but it would fall on my cheeks and make a mess on my face throughout the day. Using a pencil is easier and cleaner. This color stays on all day and the shimmer in these pencils are subtle. I can use this and the green liner for the daytime.
