Thank goodness I got this half off with my employee discount. I usually trust mua's advice and as I write this review, doll eyes long lash has a 74% buy again rating. I found that it lengthens very little, does not hold a curl, does not wash off with warm water, and gets clumpy very fast. It's not the worst but I had high expectations and this ended up being mediocre.

Best peach color I own. It's just perfect for my skintone and opaque with just two coats. I feel like this could easily be my signature color!

The best red I've ever used. I have a lot of red/pink in my fingers due to poor circulation and I find that most blues and reds tend to make it look much, much worse. This deep garnet color somehow offsets the redness in my hands and draws complete attention to the beautiful color on my fingers. Just two coats for the perfect opacity as well. I feel like I could wear this every day.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

I work at a retail salon and we sell all kinds of nail polish, top coats, base coats, treatments, etc. I have a 50% discount and access to lots of brands, so I have used many kinds of top coats. High end or low, seche vite is absolutely the best I've used. I see SV as a huge investment. I spend good money on OPI, Zoya, Essie, China Glaze, etc., and for what if they end up chipping? Seche vite preserves these beautiful polishes perfectly. Not only that, it preserves my low end polishes from the dollar store which fade and chip and are essentially worthless without a good top coat. This is the only top coat I reccommend to my clients because it blows all others completely out of the water.

Conditioner -Redken - All Soft Conditioner

This review is for the REFORMULATION. The internet complains a lot about the reformulation, so I leave the disclaimer that I never used the original. That said, I love the new Redken All Soft system. My two biggest problems are greasy roots and tangled ends. My hair is very long and I always have trouble with dry, splitting ends. This conditioner is packed with palm oil, the fourth ingredient. It's extremely moisturizing and for the first time since I grew it out, my hair doesn't tangle in mere moments after brushing it. I'm sure the original was awesome, but I'm very happy with the reformulation.

Shampoo -Redken - All Soft Shampoo

I use this with the conditioner and my hair has been incredibly soft and manageable. My biggest problems are greasy roots and tangled ends. The shampoo allows me to go two even three days without a horrible greasy mess at the crown. The conditioner has been a miracle for my very long, very tangly ends. I don't doubt how awesome the original was, but I'm very happy with the current all soft system and will probably repurchase when I'm out.

Blush -Illamasqua - Tremble

I'm very fair and neutral-warmish, and this blush is beautiful on my skin. It's an extremely bright pink in the pan, but if applied with a light hand, it is the prettiest peach color that lasts hours. It is also completely matte and looks very natural is applied correctly. If you're gentle, you'll get very little fallout, and the blush will last forever!

Beautiful pale beige-white. I got this because it's the closest to my name, but I like it quite a lot! It dries quickly and with seche vite hasn't chipped. One star off because I needed 3 layers to get a decent opacity.

Foundations -NYX - Hd foundation

We just got a NYX rack at the beauty supply store I work at and I have been told I'm glowing by so many people after using this! I've tried it in combination with the primers. Pros: Does't make skin any oilier, Smooth application, Sheer but buildable, covers discoloration, Gives a glowing look with a bit of sheer powder on top Cons: More like a TM with a single application, Not as long lasting as I'd like. Edit: I have a 50% discount, so this would be worth it for me to buy. However, there are better foundations for cheaper at the drugstore, especially Revlon CS Whipped and CG 3-in-1 for those of us blessed with oily skin.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Star

Yet another disappointing mascara from Lancome. I received a mini tube of this with my sephora order and I'm on day three of trying it. I am a shameless mascara junkie, so I know my way around different kinds of brushes and formulas, and this is one mascara I cannot get to work well. It's easiest to break it down by pros and cons- Pros: Lengthening, Holds a curl. Cons: Makes lashes stick together in just one coat. Clumpy. Stiff. Flakes quite a lot. Really this is more of a drugstore quality mascara. They even mimic the new great lash lots of lashes brush, and to no avail either.I'm usually not a fan of lancome mascaras but I liked hypnose. Unfortunately, hypnose star was another fail for Lancome.

Absolutely remeniscent of the smell of oranges and orange blossom. Citrus with the slightest white floral. Of the light, citrusy aquatics out there, this stands out to me. It is not sweet, but doesn't have the cleaning fluid smell of D&G light blue. I've worn it many times and I'd buy it if I had the money!

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Mascara

This is a pretty bad mascara, but it is only $2.99 and I was lucky enough to get this at 40% off. Despite the name, this mascara gives absolutely no length whatsoever. It's almost like I just put a dark wash on my lashes. It also won't hold a curl, even for just a few seconds. I have never used a mascara that resisted curling so strongly haha. But for being less than three dollars, I give it a second sympathy lip. It doesn't clump or make your lashes stick together (much). If you want a super understated mascara, this might be for you. Otherwise it was a waste of $3. I could have ridden the bus twice for that! But I will keep it in my purse as an emergency backup mascara.

Concealers -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Concealer

ATTN PALE PEOPLE: you can use these!!!! Just get it in the shade "neutralizer". I'm very fair with slight yellow tones and that shade is perfect for me. Having a little bit of a yellow cast, it covers my purple undereye circles perfectly. The application is so smooth, the wear is LONG, and blending is super easy. It looks so cheap and low quality, I always overlooked it. I was in a pinch and had to get a cheap concealer fast, so when I picked this up I had not idea that it's be my HG. High end and low, I've never been happier with a concealer.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black

I had to get a ds mascara in a pinch and I remember being blown away by this as a teen when I switched from my first mascara, great lash. Six years and many many mascaras later, I find this to be average. It gives some length, some volume. It clumps a little but doesn't flake much at all. But there really are many mascaras for the same price that are much better. My roomie likes this one so I think I'll pass it on to her.
