I love this green, MAC does not have a color like it! I just bought this with the Sugarsweet collection and I think that it is perfect for spring. I think that it is more of a really light spring green than minty. It is my favorite eyeshadow finish, veluxe pearl. It has decent color payoff and blends like a dream. I like to pair it with humid in the crease, which creates a really dramatic smoky eye for me! Go get it while you can, it is a great addition to any eyeshadow collection! :)
BBW recently released a new scent called Nectarine Mint and if you haven't smelled it yet you need to go to your nearest BBW and smell it! Don't get too excited it is only available in this hand lotion and in hand soap. BUT, I really hope that they put this into the regular line because it smells amazing! It is the perfect scent for spring and summer. It is fruity and minty and mmmmmm. When I went to my local BBW everyone was gathered around the table that was featuring this scent and everyone thought it smelled great and were mumbling about how it wasn't in lotion and shower gel. The hand lotion is great, it is a light pink/white color with blue beads in it. It is about $4 at BBW. I love it! :)
I quite like this shampoo, it has a nice smell and makes my hair feel clean. Doesn't strip my hair color, which is great. A bit scary in the tube being bright red and all, but it does not deposit color. Hard for me to find, found it at walmart, but its matching conditioner wasn't there.... :/ Anyhoo, I like it. If you are having a hard time finding it try Ulta or another beauty-based store, I will repurchase. :)
I do like this conditioner. I dyed my hair dark red recently and want to keep the color as long as I can. It is kinda scary when it comes out of the tube. It is bright red and creamy. I really like it, it keeps the tangles away and smells good. You get a good amount of it for the price. I paid around $7.50 for it, which is WAY too much. I bought it at walgreens, but I am buying it at Ulta next time, it is $2 cheaper there! Hard to find, but I am finding that is the case for all red-based products as it is not a very common hair color. Your best bet is Ulta or another beauty-based store. Def. would repurchase! :)
Hair Color -John Frieda - luminous color glaze in radiant red [DISCONTINUED]

This product is pretty good. I dyed my dark brown hair dark red. Since I used a demi-permanent color, I know that it will fade fast and I want to make sure that roots don't show and that I can keep my color longer. So far no roots and it make my hair shiny and a little bit more red. The smell is terrible though. It smells like paint thinner. The texture is a weird gel/liquid and the packaging is kinda crappy. Hard to squeeze out in the shower to say the least. It was also difficult for me to find, I tried walmart, walgreens, rite aid; nowhere had it until I found it at Ulta. Thank goodness they just opened one near my boyfriend's house! It was $10, I would repurchase. :)
I was apprehensive at the price as it is quite expensive but I bit the bullet and bought it, and I am so glad that I did! I put this in my hair before I straighten my hair (it is NOT a heat protectant). It makes flat ironing my hair far easier than usual. It also makes my hair feel very silky and smooth, just like it claims. I think that the packaging is hilarious. I use this in conjunction with manipulator to get volume in my hair. I may buy headrush next, when I am not dead broke lol. Would def. repurchase! :)
I really like this color a lot. This is my boyfriend's favorite color, so I bought it to please him, and I think that was the first time that he ever paid attention to my nails lol. The first coat for me is SUPER sheer; I could barely see it. After 2-3 coats though, it turned into a nice dark violet :). I love Sinful nail polishes, a great quality nail polish for a fantastic price (about $2). I get this at walgreens, I highly recommend! :D
This product is ok, I am not sure if I will repurchase again. It seems a little thick for my very fine hair. I like the look that it gives me but it can begin to look a little greasy after a few hours. The smell gets to me as well; I really dislike coconut! I will use it up but I don't know if I will buy it again. I am kinda neutral on this product.
Hair Color -Clairol - Natural Instincts Hair Color

I just colored my hair for the first time yesterday in #20 rosewood. I didn't want to dye with permanent color so after reading the reviews here I went with this one. I'm very pleased with the results, my really dark brown hair stayed dark, but took on a really great vibrant red tone, I love it! I was worried about how violet purple the color was on my hair but it processed into a dark auburn. I can't believe how good my hair felt afterwards as well, it feels very healthy! Love love love, I highly recommend it!
I love this product!!!! I use this mainly as a lip blam, it works better than anything that I have tried, blistex, carmex, chapstick, ANYTHING. My mother has been using this stuff longer than I have been alive. Such great stuff. She bought one of the biggie tubs 10 years ago and is only halfway through it. If it is good enough for a cow udder it is good enough for my lips! :)
I bought this lipstick after the lipglass version that I own went bad after three months, but I love the color so I bought it in lipstick form this time. I think that I like the lipstick a lot better. I really like the color of this lipstick a lot, it is def. MLBB for me. The texture (lustre) is not my favorite, but it goes on very smoothly and gives a nice sheen to my lips. This was the first MAC lipstick that I have purchased. I would def. buy this again when I run out. Not terribly pleased with the lack of product in the tube, I have gotten GWP lipsticks that have more product. But, the money goes to a great cause, so if you are in the market for a pretty sheer nude lip check out this lipstick!
So far I like this product, I have very dark eyebrows for being so pasty pale so when I do my eyebrows you can realy tell. I like the shade, it is just a bit lighter than my natural hair color so my eybrows don't look too dark. The pencil is really easy to use and makes eyebrows very quick to do in the morning. I wish that there was more product for the price though... I think that I will repurchase this again but I am not quite sold yet.
Lip Treatments -MAC - Tendertone Lip Balm - SPF 12 Shush!

I just got this from my closest CCO for $11.25. I think that the lime green color is awesome (my bf gave me a funny look when I told him that it was for lips lol). It is a little glittery for my tastes but it is sheer so I guess that makes up for it. I also like how it is a little sticky, that is just how I like my lip products. Not exactly the most travel friendly packaging, but I don't really mind getting lip balm on my finger. All in all decent product; not a must-have but it is fun to try.
Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Posh Kabuki Brush

Wow, I am so impressed with this brush!!! It is so soft and dense, and it applies my powder foundation like a dream. I was hesitant on buying this at first I have been taught that when you go cheap with kabukis, you get what you pay for. This is an exception to that "rule"! For $15, you can get a great brush that applies powder flawlessly and a neat little fake leather case to put it in for on the go! I plan on buying its mini version soon for blush and mineral makeup. This is my HG brush, I love it! You can find it at most drugstores. EDIT: Be careful if you bring the brush in its case in your carry-on luggage on an airplane. Security has stopped me twice thinking that it was a tool, which are not allowed in carry-on baggage. Obviously I could hurt someone with a big fluffy brush lol. Not a big deal but I thought that I would mention it. :)
Lip Liners -Cover Girl - Outlast Smoothwear in Blush
gildedangel 2/6/2009 11:21:00 PM
Meh. This lipliner is ok. I bought this as the lightest lipliner I could find in the store and it doesn't even show up on my lips. The formula and color are nice though, so I will probably use it up. Unless you find a color you like I would not recommend this, I paid around $7 aka way too much.
