OMG.. I love this blush i just received it in the mail today and it just compliments my skin tone sooo well! I live in Vancouver so i can't find the berry shade ANYWHERE no matter where i go... so i had to order it on ebay and pay liek $5 something for it.. but it's still so worth it cause it's so pigmented. I didnt beleive how pigmented it was until i learned it the hard way lol. I loaded it onto my brush and boy was that a mistake. I looked like one of those rag dolls! So i realized that you only need one tiny swipe per cheek and i dont even do circular motions but rather dabbing it on my cheeks because it's so pigmented and rubbing the brush on my face would be overkill LOVE IT!!! I'll definitely remember to buy a few of these when i visit the states next time. Note: It looks amazing paired with Rimmel's Airy Fairy lipstick!

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup

EDIT: Yup, I reviewed the product way too fast. As much as i loved the consistency and the price.. and pretty much everything about it, what i do not like are the zits it caused! They are painful and i get about 2 new ones everyday. WHAT A MESS! Going back to Smashbox! I finally caved into buying this foundation! First off, I'd like to say that I've never tried MUF HD foundation nor Nars sheer glow so i can't offer any sort of comparison to that. But I do use Smashbox's HD foundation as my daily foundation (prior to Revlon PhotoReady) so I can tell you the differences between this and that. The Revlon is really nice and looks very natural like how skin looks. It doesn't give you a cakey look or even a powdery look. Its very dewy and yes there are bits of shimmer but they're not noticeable unless you go really close to a mirror and actually look for it. Otherwise, it's not something that your friends would say "hey i just realized you foundation has lots of shimmer in it". It really just gives you a nice healthy glow. The consistency is quite different from the smashbox. It's runnier but at the same time gives more coverage than the smashbox. The smashbox is very sheer and looks very natural as well but does not have any shimmer yet gives you a very dewy look. Some people (like my mom and my friend) find that the smashbox is too oily though so they would probably like the Revlon a lot better. Smashbox has a HUGE color selection when compared to Revlon's. It was really hard to find a match for my skin tone cause a lot of them look very similar and i had to go exchange it twice to find my colour and even then, it's not spot on like the smashbox foundation is. I'm hoping that they'll come out with more colours in the future. The staying power is pretty good I've had it on all day and it hasn't budged whereas with my smashbox foundation i tend to look really oily around my tzone by the time i got off work so i'd look like a complete mess. This foundation doesnt do that it looks the same as when i first put it on in the morning. I mentioned the colour selection was a bit hard.. and they actually look fine in indoor lighting but once i looked at myself in the mirror with natural light it was so dark and i could see very visible foundation lines on my neck so CHECK FOR THAT! and make sure you buy from a store that allows returns/exchanges on opened products. overall i would definately buy again since smashbox is around $40 and Revlon is at $16 for the same 1 fl oz. So yay! i found a replacement that i'm really happy with. I'll update if anything goes wrong though.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Flurry of Fun (To the Beach Collection)

OMG! I love this lip gloss so much! i've never ever loved lip gloss before. It has always just been something that makes my lips shiny so i just buy whatever lip gloss with whatever consistency. THIS lipgloss is so perfect and unique i've decided it's worth the $19 and the blue sparkles at first takes you back and you start thinking "WHOA" then you look at it some more and you go "hey it's actually really pretty!" I got so many compliments today just putting it over my lip without any lipstick. My sister (who doesnt ever wear any makeup) took it and did the same thing. She's going to buy one for herself too! I'm buying a backup tomorrow!

I love ecotools! I bought this because I wanted a new eyeshadow brush and decided to go for ecotools since i loved their powder brush so much. I got home, tried it and fell madly in love. I went to buy another one of these brushes plus the eyeliner brush the day after just because I wanted more for no reason hahaha! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This is my favourite blush brush of ALL TIME! It's so cheap and soooo amazingly soft and yes sometimes it can be too soft that it doesn't pick up colour. I only use it for blush and blending my bronzer because it gives light coverage so that you don't risk putting too much on at once and looking uneven. This makes my skin glow! I get so many compliments about my skin and it's mostly due to how effortless this brush makes blush/bronzer applications. I don't ever contour with this cause it know its just gonna waste loads of time so I use a stiffer brush from costco for contouring. I will buy this brush over and over again if it ever happens to break or if i step on it or something horrible like that haha.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush

I'm a huge fan of ecotools brushes cause they're good for the environment and they are soooooo soft and affordable. One brush is like $5 here and that's pretty amazing considering the quality. I honestly wasn't going to buy this brush even though I have all the other ecotools brushes at london drugs but then i was looking for a contouring/crease brush for the outer V and the SA told me that she uses this brush and it makes a perfect V everytime. She also showed me the lise watier one which is 3x the price of this one so I decided to go for this one instead. It's pretty good for making that V. So for people who don't like it as an eyeliner brush us it for contouring/creasing!

Makeup Brushes -NYX - B 12 Crease brush
rated 4 of 5
apk2 5/28/2010 5:54:00 AM

I bought this brush cause I really wanted a crease brush and since I was at the NYX counter picking up brushes I thought "oh what the heck" and just grabbed it. I honestly don't really LOVE the brush as much as I love the other NYX brushes I bought from their new line. But the brush really isn't bad. I wish it had more of a point to it as the end is kind of rounded but it's not a bad brush either. I probably wouldn't purchase it again because it's not really ideal and i just picked it up cause it was relatively cheap. But i'll continue to use it as it is soft but sturdy enough to contour.

Makeup Brushes -NYX - B 21 Definer eye brush
rated 5 of 5
apk2 5/28/2010 5:49:00 AM

I honestly don't know what I'm going to use this brush for and I only bought it because the bristles are the same as the B 20 and the B 11 brushes which I love. I'm thinking I'll use it to apply eye shadow near my lash line for a smokey look or use it as a replacement eye liner brush. I might even consider using it to contour the outer V for my eye shadow. I'll have to play with it some more to decide what exactly I want to do with it. I really do like it though as you can see it's quite multipurpose. So I might even end up picking up a bunch of these for all the different ways to use it I mentioned. But not anytime soon since this is part of a huge haul of brushes I just bought from NYX and ecotools.

Makeup Brushes -NYX - B 20 Cover up brush
rated 5 of 5
apk2 5/28/2010 5:43:00 AM

This brush is similar to the B11 Primer eye brush but it's a bit smaller and I use this to apply/smooth out my NYX jumbo eye pencils and it glides quite evenly. I know I switched it around where I should be using this for the concealer and the B11 for the primer/jumbo pencil but I just feel like this size is better for the Jumbo pencils since I only use a bit above my crease. Same texture of bristles as the B11. Incredibly soft and even application.

Makeup Brushes -NYX - B 11 Primer eye brush

I use this brush more as a concealer brush for my Revlon new complexion concealer since it's a cream concealer that comes in duo pan. I use a different (smaller) brush for blemishes but this brush I use for under my eyes and it make it look so smooth! I think using this brush allows better coverage with less product. I'm really happy with it cause it wasn't expensive at all and i'll definitely purchase again.

Makeup Brushes -NYX - B 10 blender eye brush

The only place where I live (Canada) that I can buy NYX products are only select save-on-foods stores and there are 2 close to my house but only one carries it. Nevertheless the selection is very limited and the brushes look like they're out of stock since there's only 1 or 2 of each brush available. I picked up this brush along with 4 other NYX brushes and i have to say I'm quite impressed. They definitely aren't the cheapest of brushes but the quality isn't bad at all. This blush blends eyeshadows evenly and does the job and the hairs/bristles aren't harsh but rather soft and flexible. Very fluffy. The size of it is perfect for blending as it it's bigger than most blending brushes that i've seen and makes blending faster for me. I would definitely buy this product again if anything went wrong.

Styling Products -Garnier - Surf Hair Texture Paste

I don't know how to use this product yet.. i spent last night and all of today trying to figure out how to use this stuff. I have straight long hair (up to my waist) that doesnt scrunch and frizzes a lot. I've washed my hair out twice because i ended up screwing it up and making it a sticky mess. Is that how it's supposed to be? i dont think so... haha i'm laughing at myself because I really wanna like this product so if anyone has any idea what i can use it for it'd really help. I was hoping this product would give me hair that looks similar to ke$ha's in her tik tok video.. but with straighter hair. i don't know if that makes sense if anyone has any idea lol pm me =)

Shampoo -Aussie - Moist Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
apk2 12/14/2009 3:07:00 AM

This is the best shampoo I've EVER used and it's so cheap too which makes it LOVE. I've always had trouble finding shampoos that work well and until i found this I always thought that you didn't need to find a good shampoo because the secret is in the conditioner. Boy was I wrong. I had problems before with shampoos being either too dry (tresemme, sunsilk, joico, l'oreal, herbal essences, redken EWW..and more) or too oily (pantene, shiseido, asience) but this is PERFECT. It washes out all the dirt and products that i put in my hair but retains moisture in a way that makes your hair really soft and clean after shampooing. I use it with the conditioner and it even more amazing than anything else. The shampoo and conditioner smell a bit different. The shampoo smells like grape soda kind of while the conditioner smells more like pina colada (coconut) because of the jojoba oil

I hate living in Canada when it comes to buying beauty products cause you hear all the Americans telling you how cheap they bought it for (my cousins live in the states) and you feel so shammed...lol I really like this mousse though. I wouldn't use it as a leave in alone but i like using it when i want to air dry my hair. Sometimes I still use it before blow drying and flat ironing and it always makes my hair nice. It's the hardest thing to find though and that makes me sooo mad. The only place I found it so far is at walmart which is 1 hour away from my house...and when I found it there was only 1 left (when i actually wanted to buy 3). So because my bf is out of town in Alberta, he raves about how the Walmart there has EVERYTHING so I bugged him for days and days to find this for me and he said it was sold out there too. Gahh.. there's no end. Next time i see it i'm grabbing 5!

Treatments -L'Oreal - Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut repair
rated 5 of 5

I first bought a small tub of this from my hair stylist that has been doing my hair for about 6 years now and I bought it 3 years ago. I don't use it often but it has lasted me 3 years and I just bought my second tub in the bigger size. I'm surprised it has lasted this long cause I thought it would go bad or lose its effectiveness but I asked my stylist and he said it shouldn't. There was one time where I went to a random salon to dye my hair lighter because I didnt' wanna spend so much money. But the lady ended up over bleaching and then my hair ended up curly and crispy. I was really raging mad cause i had been growing my hair for so long so she had to cut a great deal of length (about 3 inches) off my hair. But the problem is there was still quite a bit of crispiness... So i went home and found this tub lying around the bathroom and decided to put it on after shampooing and towel drying my hair, slathering on some of this stuff, then putting a shower cap on. I waited an hour (even though the instructions say 5 mins) and when I washed it out I immediately felt it was silkier. I dried it and it was SO soft and shiny and silky to the touch. It was like my hair had transformed! I was really happy then and I have been using this product ever since! It's really awesome. I bought the really big tub for only $15 at a local salon. Awesome deal!
