This is a rich conditioner that moisturized my wavy dry hair better than the stuff I had been using (Pantene & Bumble & Bumble). I actually love the smell of this stuff, but I can why some people would be turned off by it. It's a little bit on the expensive side - I'm sure there are conditioners just as effective for less money. I love the packaging, though, so I'll buy it again.
I love this stuff - it doesn't have any acne causing ingredients, and it's blends right in and sets my makeup just right. I tried the Sonia Kushak Barely There because I read so many great reviews about it, but I have to say that I prefer Almay because it keeps my face matte for a longer period of time, and the color (translucent) is perfect. The packaging is better than SK, too - it comes in a plastic box with a lift off lid that is so easy to use (easier than screwing off the top). SK didn't even come w/ a powder pad/puff.
I bought this after reading the great review in Cosmetic Connection. I bought the brush as well, but found that it was easier to apply w/o the brush. At any rate, it seemed to exaggerate my dry skin and sort of sat on top of my skin rather than blend in. Also, it did not last throughout the day - it slid right off my skin. The pump was a waste of time - the tube attached to it only went down about half an inch, so when you use up a quarter of the bottle, the pump no longer works and you have to scoop it out. Very disappointed - won't buy again.
I think this is way overpriced, and I'm sure that I could find something comparable at a cheaper price. I love the smell (I love the smell of all the Sugar stuff) and like that it's completely edible. But it's too oily for me and a little hard to use - a lot of it ended up down the drain instead of on my skin.
I've been using this twice a day along w/ Avon Retroactive cream and Avon retinol at night for two weeks now and my skin has never looked better. I usually have at least a few blemishes and flaky skin, but these past two weeks my blemishes have cleared up and my skin is smooth and rosy. I'm hoping this isn't some fluke! I don't even have the usual flare-ups I get right around my period. Amazing - I hope this continues to work. Update - my clear skin only lasted two weeks and then I went back to my flakly, blemishy self - bummer. I'm still using this but have discontinued the Retroactive and Retinol stuff.

I've been using this for two weeks now along w/ Paula's Choice 1% BHA and Avon Dual Line Eliminator Retinol, so I'm not sure which one of the three is responsible for making my skin so clear and rosy. I usually have combination acne prone skin, but w/ this combination, my skin is no longer flaky and is blemish-free. I don't need to wear foundation! I use the Retroactive cream at night and it moisturizes w/o making my face greasy. I love the feel of it on my skin and the packaging is very cool - plus it's a bargain. Update: my skin went back to its regular flaky zitty self after two weeks, so this didn't last - bummer. I've stopped using it.
I have very thick hair and a lot of it - it's wavy when I blow it dry and curly when I let it dry naturally. I bought this the other day and had only ten minutes to do my hair before I had to leave to go out. My hair had not been blown dry that morning so it was very curly, yet the iron straightened it nicely. I can't wait to see how this baby works when I have more time on my hands! This deserves the rave reviews.
My favorite mascara - I have very full/long lashes already, so the woman at Sephora recommended this to me, and I love it. It gives me that 60s mod look/Twiggy lashes.
I usually buy Lancome Intencils, but recently got a free full sized tube of this stuff and I have to admit, it rivals Lancome! It's almost as thick and luxurious as Lancome, and a lot cheaper.
Foundations -Almay - Skin Stays Clean Cream to Powder Foundation

This foundation left me greasy and was gone by the end of the day. I keep it in my desk at work in case of emergency touch-ups, but other than that, I never use it.
I've been using this daily for about three years now and recently switched to their new SPF 40. Both have a great texture, nice smell (or lack thereof), leave no greasy residue, and are so concentrated - you only need to use a pea size shape. It contains quality ingredients such as moisturizing aloe. What a bargain.
Self Tanners -St.Tropez - St.Tropez Tinted Self Tanning Mousse/Whipped Bronze

I discovered this in Glasgow - many women there are very tan, so my boyfriend's sister told me their secret. I bought this at a SpaceNK store for $40 and found out later I could have bought it in CA for $29. Anyway, I like this for my face because it's very easy to put on and comes off as a very natural color. I prefer something stronger for my legs, though I know I can layer this stuff. I'm not sure if I'd buy this again - there's probably something cheaper that works just as well. I like the mousse texture, though.

Nothing special here - just a drying lotion. It works well on bigger blemishes, but not much better than benzoyl peroxide. I actually liked the color - it sort of matched my skintone and hid the redness. But I wouldn't buy this again - too expensive and I can get something just as effective for less money.
I read about this fragrance in the Barney's catalogue and then in Jane magazine. It's very fresh and clean smelling. I like to layer it w/ Fresh Sugar. The saleswoman at Fresh told me not to rub in the scent - it destroys the top notes. I'm almost out and am planning on buying more.
