What an awful product!!! First, it smells like a chemical factory. It's a really terrible smell. Second, it's drying and irritating to sensitive skin. Third, it has granules which are harsh and abrasive. This was one of the most irritating and unpleasant products I've used in a long time.
This product is very drying, due to the alcohol content. It stung, and I did not notice any "refining" of my pores. Also, it irritated my skin.
For a drugstore product, I really liked this. I bought it during a time when my skin seemed really oily and I was noticing some clogging of my pores. I liked that this was a multi-purpose product that I could use for both cleanser and mask. When used as a cleanser, it was very nice, gentle and not too drying. When used as a mask, I found that my skin was clear, soft, and felt very clean. I liked this product, mostly because it didn't smell bad (like the pore refining products, ew), and because it was very convenient. It wasn't overly irritating to my very sensitive skin, which I really liked. I've now switched to an all-Dr. Hauschka regimen, but if I ran out of money and needed a good cleanser, this would probably be my choice.
I use this daily, and I love it. I have slightly wavy, fine hair, and I straighten my hair each day with a ceramic iron. I find that just a little of this product (don't use too much!!!) puts me back in control of my hair, and gives my hair a little sheen as well. It's a nice product!!!
I have slightly wavy, fine hair, and I use this as a daily conditioner. I started out using the conditioning balm every day, but it was too heavy, so I switched to this, which is the perfect weight. It's light, but makes my hair as soft as the conditioning balm (which I now use as a weekly treatment). It smells great, too!
This is a great product. I started out using it as a daily conditioner, but it was too heavy for my hair, so I switched to the detangler. Now, I use this once a week to deep-condition and protect. I have slightly wavy fine hair, and it's just below shoulder-length.
This is a staple for me. I have slightly wavy hair. It's fine and I have a lot of it. I typically use a ceramic iron to straighten my hair, and find this to be a great hydrating shampoo for my purposes. It provides moisture and gives my hair body. Plus, it smells great!
Prior to purchasing this product, I had only used Stila blush and foundation. This was a real treat. The colors are neutral, but with a slight leaning toward the cool, which I didn't notice until I had applied them. They're absolutely gorgeous colors (since so many have described them, I won't get into that), and they wear extremely well. I find that the lip colors last a long time and are moisturizing to my lips. The eyeshadows last all day without fading, and only start to crease at the end of the day. I used the darker brown shadow as a liner, and it lasts all day. With this palette, I became an overnight Stila convert. Fabulous products, great classic colors, and having them in a palette? Super convenient.
WOW! This was my first highlighter ever, and when I got it, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I dabbed a little onto the tops of my cheekbones after I did my blush one morning, and POW, my face suddenly had all this structure. Weird, how well it worked. It just made my face seem more radient or something. I'm still experimenting with techniques on this product, but I really like the way it blends so easily and...well, highlights certain areas of my face. A great product!
I received this item from my Secret Santa. What a great surprise! I have Pink Slip, and it's a gorgeous color, either alone, or over another shade. The gloss is just shiny enough, and it doesn't dry out my lips at all. The only things I don't like? I do wish it would last longer, and I'm not crazy about the pan. I don't carry brushes with me, and just tend to find a wand more convenient. Other than that, it's a wonderful product that I really am glad to have in my makeup "wardrobe!"
I bought this on the Bargain Blissment sale online for supercheap. I am surprised to say that I really like it! The color is gorgeous, and it's versatile, too. I can use it alone for a natural look, or over another color to mute down a stronger shade. It's not perfume-y, which I love, and it lasts nicely. The only downside I found was that it does tend to leave that line across my bottom lip after wearing it for awhile. I did notice that when I used it over a Bobbi Brown lipstain, however, that line did not appear.
I bought Ruby Stain and I love it. It's a red color, but not so deep that it washes me out, and no so pale that it looks pink. Because the red is a blue-toned red, it makes my teeth look whiter. The product itself wears well-- it settles into a nice finish, and doesn't dry out my lips and look funny. I don't get that line on my lower lip after wearing it for awhile and it wears off evenly, looking fairly natural. The only downside to this product for me is the scent-- I really don't care for it. However, it isn't strong enough to make me quit using it, as I do like it very much.
Frownies are pieces of thin cardboard with adhesive on the back. I don't know what's in the adhesive, but I have really sensitive skin and it is totally non-irritating. Also, it smells very lightly of eucalyptus and herby stuff.
You stick the Frownies on your forehead (or wherever you've got a line or wrinkle) and wear them through the night. Then, in the morning, the wrinkle or line is better. I read about them in Town and Country and ran right out to get them! Rene Russo uses them and swears by them.
All I know is that after only one night of use, my line is MUCH improved (at this point, it's practically gone), so much so that my boyfriend noticed, and my friend at work also said she saw a huge difference. And, after 5 hours of wearing makeup, the foundation has NOT caked into any frown line crease like it usually does. I'm attacking my smile lines next! I couldn't be happier, because I'd MUCH rather spend $16.95 for a box of Frownies than $500 for Botox!!! : )
You can learn more and order Frownies (or find out where to buy them locally) at http://www.frownies.com . This is my new HOLY GRAIL product. I am IN LOVE with this item!!! I can't believe it works, but it does!!! Yippeeeee! : )
I have posted my Frownies techniques on my Swap Notepad, in case anyone needs assistance in learning how to use them. The only complaint I had was that the in-box instructions (and info from the web site) weren't quite detailed enough for me.
Skincare - Face -Jafra - Royal Jelly Milk Balm Moisture Lotion Original

The Royal Jelly line is the signature line for Jafra. It's based on the theory that royal jelly, the stuff bees bring to their queen, is extremely nutrient-rich, and can provide vital nutrients and vitamins to the skin. While using this product, I noticed that my skin evened out in color and texture and became much smoother. I don't care much for the fragrance, which seems like something my grandmother used (I think she used this product!), but it is a very good product, and an excellent moisturizer.

This product provides my skin with a great amount of moisture at night, without being greasy. I'm not sure if it makes a big difference in fine lines, but it does make my skin look and feel a lot more hydrated.
