Pros: - The color matches my face perfectly - Really brightens up my eyes - Very little goes a long way Cons: - Creasing - Not that easy to blend - Not cheap Overall, I really like this product, but probably won't buy again because whether wearing this alone or as an eyeshadow base it will crease.
This is a pretty color, the staying power is not bad, and I got this in a Buy two get one free deal in Ulta, the only thing I don't like is the smell :(
Love everything about this lipgloss BUT the price!!!!! :0 It's a shame that NARS products are so expensive.....This lipgloss looks amazingly good whether wearing alone or on top of a lipstick. Love the color a lot, not sticky and no smell is definitely a plus.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Active Light Makeup SPF 25 ] [DISCONTINUED]

Got this on sale for $5 from Ulta. Pros: - Feels light - Very long-lasting (Stayed on for 16 hours with no touch-up) - Affordable - Great for outdoor activities & during summer days Cons: - Light coverage (but it's definitely build-able, so it's not really a con?) So far I like this a lot, just wish the coverage would be like the original colorstay but couldn't ask more for the price =) Will always keep one of this next to my original Colorstay foundation!
Eye Makeup Remover -The Body Shop - Chamomile Eye Makeup Remover

*UPDATE* As I'm finishing up the bottle I feel that this MU remover leaves my skin a tight, and a little sticky feeling after I use it to remove my MU. And when I wash my face afterwards if the water goes into my eyes it still burns a little. However, if I put those aside this is a great makeup remover. But I probably won't be purchasing again due to my worry of the tight feeling afterward will age my eyes faster. Which is probably not true, but I'll move on to my journey of searching a HG mu remover. I think I've found my HG eye mu remover!! Absolutely not oily, has cool, smooth feelings to eyes, removes makeups effectively! The first time I used it, it stung my eyes so badly. But then I realized that maybe I poured too much on the cotton pad so it went into my eyes. So now I just apply 3-4 drops on the pad and put it on my eyes and no problem since then :) I also love how the hole is so small and just enough for a Q-tip to dip in. That way you can control how much you want to pour out. Love, love, love this. I got it on the Earth Day promotion, which is 20% off everything when you use your own bag. So this is a good deal considering the amount you have! It's gonna last me a LONG time & yay finally a substitute for Lancome!!
Lip Treatments -Sally Hansen - 24 Hour Lip Treatment
xliu4 4/23/2010 2:54:00 AM
It was on sale for $2 so I decided to give it a try because it's so cheap and I've always liked Sally Hansen. But this product does not impress me at all. It definitely doesn't last 24 hours and it's a bit oily/heavy on my lips. And it doesn't moisturizes that well either. My lips still feel a bit dry after applying this, no matter how many layers I put on. The packaging is pretty tho =] But I'll try something else next time.
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
xliu4 4/19/2010 2:56:00 PM
I've been buying this over and over again but I've always been looking for a cheaper alternative to replace it. It is all I need/expect in a mu remover - very effective, gentle, not greasy, does not break me out whatsoever. It could be my HG remover if it's not so dam expensive ($26 + tax, although I usually buy it off eBay for cheaper, but still). If I can't find something that's comparable to this, I'll just accept the fact and keep buying this.
Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
xliu4 4/19/2010 2:44:00 PM
I ran out of my Lancome makeup remover one day and where I'm at doesn't have a Macy's or anything so I grabbed this at Target. It's too oily for me! It removes makeups okay, but I just can't stand the oiliness. So I ended up ordering a new bottle of Lancome online...Still hoping to find a cheaper alternative tho. But for the price, this is a good mu remover, if you could stand the oil residual afterward (The no oil residual claim on the bottle is a BIG LIE!!) I'll probably be repurchasing this tho whenever I'm in a tight budget.
Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 15 Normal/Dry Skin
xliu4 4/18/2010 2:58:00 AM
This is a decent foundation @ the price. It's full coverage so it looks heavy on the face but I really like to apply this with a damp sponge and it gives a more natural look. it's very long lasting too. Great drugstore product, it'll be a staple for me.
Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
xliu4 4/18/2010 2:27:00 AM
Hated it. Returned it immediately after the first use. Bought it after seeing so much good reviews on MUA. When I first put it on my face and started to rub it around, OUCH - that was my first reaction. Way too harsh for my skin. The microbeads were just too big I guess. I think it's even too harsh to use on my body!

First of all, I think the jar is really cute :) I've noticed the skin on my legs are so much smoother after a few days of using this, I was more than amazed! My legs were very rough, the pores are disgusting due to a very bad allergy I had when I was little. So yea, my legs are smoother than ever!! LOVE it. I know it's pretty pricey ($28 + tax), but i also think a little goes a long way, so this should last me a long time ;) can't wait to try other body shop products now!!
Concealers -Revlon - Age Defying Moisturizing Concealer (New) [DISCONTINUED]
xliu4 4/18/2010 2:07:00 AM
I really, really wanted to love this concealer, why? 1. Very affordable 2. Has spf 20 3. Matches my skin tone quiet well. BUT, I don't find it moisturizing at all!! In fact, it dries up my skin pretty badly. I've noticed that not only on my under eye, but wherever I use this on my face, the spots dry up at the end of the day and it's so obvious that as if I didn't put lotions on for days! I don't know why this is happening but I do have dry skin, so I guess it isn't for me after all... :(
I am IN LOVE with this mascara! It gives me the curved, long, full lashes that I have NEVER had before. The lashes were curly for the whole day, it's so amazing because my lashes are very thick (so is my hair) they tend to lay flat after just like 1 or 2 hours. But this mascara held up the whole day. I am very pleased with the result. one lippie off for the smudge-ness. Smudged after 1 hour of wear :s but considering the overall result & price (got it on sale for $5 from CVS), definitely will re-purchase. In fact, I went to CVS and got the original formula too! =P
Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Double Duty Base & Top Coat
xliu4 4/1/2010 1:59:00 AM
In general, I like Sally Hansen as a brand. And I LOVE this product. It works wonderfully as both base and top coat. I have an Anna Sui nail polish with lots of shimmers in it, it was a pain to wipe them off and often leaves stains on my nails. With this, it couldn't get any easier to wipe off ANY nail polishes! In fact, I'm buying more nail polishes and really having fun changing nail colors once in 3 or 4 days thanks to this double duty base & top coat. One lippie off because I found it kinda slow to dry as a top coat, and if it's not dried completely and I touched it then it ruins the nail polish too and I had to remove the polish and re-apply. It's a bit inconvenient, but given the wonderful result it provides, it's worth the time to wait for it to dry off completely. Will definitely repurchase!
I got this from a friend and honestly, it's a pretty good mascara. It helps to visualize my lashes, smudges very little (That's good enough for me) & easy to take off. Good for everyday school/work, but I wouldn't buy it with my own money because it doesn't worth it in my opinion. Also, I rarely use the comb on the other side of the brush as I feel like it doesn't do much and sometimes even makes my lashes clumsy.
