love this mascara! i see a lot of people whining about how this doesnt remove very easily with eye makeup removers, and its true. but my makeup remover of choice is johnson's baby oil with aloe vera and EVERYTHING (including waterproof lashblast) comes off. so thats a tip for some of you who cant get it out. but the mascara really does live up to its advertisement, keeps my lashes curled all day, no flaking and no smudging whatsoever. the only small thing that i noticed is how it makes me eyelashes seem a lot stiffer than other mascaras. but i dont mind.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner

bought this today and im already impressed with it! the felt tip makes it very easy to reach into the corners of my eyes and is also great for people like me who dont like to wear thick eyeliner. the price was average, i got mine for $9.99 canadian which isnt bad at all. does not irritate my eyes or my contact lenses, and very nice and dark. one stroke is usually enough colour, no real need to keep drawing over the same line to reach the "carbon black" intensity.
i love this eyeshadow! i bought it with a frd when we browsed through our local mac store. and im so glad i got it. i find myself using it all the time whenever i apply eyeshadow to go out. it goes so well with many different colours! too bad its limited edition, but mac is known for recycling their stuff so we'll probably see it in a year or so in some new collection. but nonetheless, great investment.
Palettes -Coastal Scents - 56 Piece Eye Shadow/Blush Palette

got it around 3 weeks ago, and im very impressed with the pigmentation of the eyeshadows! great array of colours to choose from, and you also get some blushes too. however, the blushes are my least favourite out of the whole palette. they are wayyy too bright and you end up looking like a clown if you dont apply it lightly. two of the blushes are pretty much orange and red. not good. theres two that i like, which is the peachy coral colour and the pink. i wouldnt buy it again cause ill probably never finish it. there's so much! very good price too, got it for $28 canadian after taxes and shipping fees.
my favourite eyeshadow base! i use it over toofaced shadow insurance cause i dont want it to crease on me. and it also holds the colour of it on longer. painterly is more pink toned, but since im asian, soft ochre works better for me as it is more yellow toned. got it for $20 canadian at my local mac counter and im very happy with it. used it over 30 times and you can barely notice the dent ive made. definately worth the money if you're very keen on applying eyeshadow along with the rest of your makeup!
Eyeliner -Sonia Kashuk - Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner

bought it during a shopping trip down to the states, and im so glad i got it! it was only $8.99 USD at target. i got it in the colour ebony, and ive been using a very thin loew cornell brush to apply it as my top eyeliner. stays on all day, doesnt smudge and doesnt irritate my eyes or my contact lenses. AND its gonna take me forever to finish the pot. there's so much product in it! ive used it for over a month now and ive barely made a hole in it. i would definately repurchase it when i get the chance to, and possibly buy a backup when i go shopping in the states again. very good pigmentation, very soft application.
my favourite perfume of the moment! :D i own this perfume and moon sparkle from escada. i tend to grab this one more than my guess and jlo perfumes too. the smell is very musky and sweet, but not extremely strong either. i even got compliments on how good i smelled the first night i wore it out!
bought this at Ross while on vacay in los angeles for $15 USD. the smell is awesome! i love it. however i also own escada's sunset heat and i think it smells better than moon sparkle. but im definately still gonna use it, i like to alternate between the two. very nice subtle fruity smell :)
soooo this lipstick is extremely DRY. as if my lips werent dry enough...even with multiple applications of lipbalm and lip treatments, this lipstick just accentuates the flakes of skin on my pout. not liking it. but sometimes applying it very sheerly on my lips topped off with a pink lipgloss can work as a nude lip too. but on its own...yeah i dont think so.
bought this recently at my local sephora, and i love it! i first heard about it watching makeup guru youtube videos and im glad i tried it out. it's matte, so none of that shimmery and glittery business going on, which i love. it's very natural on my nc30 skin and the pigmentation is awesome too. one small swipe and you can apply it to both of your cheeks. the packaging is cool, it comes in a tin can. and by the looks of it, its gonna take me a looongg time to finish this product. the price isnt over the top expensive neither is it cheap. i got it for $26 canadian but now i for sure dont need to go around finding more blushes to try. this is my go-to item during my regular makeup routines :)
my favourite mascara of the moment! before this, i used diorshow mascaras for 2 years and then covergirl's lashblast. now dont get me wrong, the dior and CG ones are really good too. i just like to try new things. but this is one of the few mascaras that ill actually buy a second one of. ( i use the waterproof one, if not my eyelashes dont stay curled) it gives me good volume, good colour and great length. it also removes wayyy easier than CG's lashblast for a waterproof mascara. (my lashblast is waterproof also, pain in the behind to remove) doesnt irritate my eyes or my contacts, and it's cheap! im getting the waterproof carbon black one next after i finish my current tube. loves it!
made my eyelashes go straight out even after i curled them. smudges within 4-5 hours. no likey
