mmm, I like this. On me it smells clean and sweet.

This did absolutely nothing for me except moisturize my skin. No changes in cellulite whatsoever. bah.
Eye Makeup Remover -Avon - Moisture effective Eye makeup remover

This works really well, but as others have mentioned, it does get into the eyes and takes a couple minutes to work out. Would not be suitable for contact lens wearers. The bonus is that since it's a lotion (and very inexpensive) I can just use it on my whole face to get all my makeup off easily.
I like the floral scent of this mascara. I had no problems applying it (I always wipe off the brush on the edge of the tube first if I see any excess.) My lashes look very lush now! No clumping. Must not allow any drying between coats; keep working the lashes until they look just right, then stop. OK, have been using for a couple weeks now and have experienced no flaking or smudging. Four weeks later. Still no problems. I say this stuff rocks!
Lip Liners -Ben Nye - Lip Color Pencil -- Really Red

Good, and cheap, and lasts! Lots of product in the pencil.
Love! Like MAC, but with a cheap price! Hint: For the best color and staying power, use a damp brush. Not soaking wet...just damp. Apply with a patting motion, then use a brushing motion to blend where necessary. With this I can look fabulous at the club all night.
hoo-wee. this stuff is the most pigmented blush I have ever seen in my life. It's only for clubbing use for me. I don't think I'll ever have to repurchase because I don't think I'll ever use it all up. You have to just barely tap your brush in it and ever so lightly blend it over your cheeks.
Eye Shadow -Ben Nye - Lumiere Grande Colour-Golden Apricot

Oh, this is hella nice. It makes a great shadow *and* blush, and is totally portable so it's good to keep in your purse!
Loose Powders -Ben Nye - Neutral Set translucent powder
unseelie_fae 10/6/2008 12:56:00 PM
This is good stuff. It will set *anything* without altering the color. And it's cheap and you get plenty.
This is an excellent quad. All the colors are wearable, true, and vibrant. The pigmentation is good, the shadows are soft and blendable. Wonderful for brown eyes! I'm very glad I bought it. I'm wondering if there was some product inconsistency between batches, because I see some people saying theirs had lousy pigmentation, while others like me got ones that are jam packed with pigment. It's odd. I guess if you get a lousy one, return it if you can!
This is a quite decent medium coverage foundation. Works well, looks natural, doesn't get shiny or settle into my lines like liquid foundations tend to do. Colors are natural, not orangey. No itch, no shine. Feels like wearing no makeup at all. Easy, fast application. Don't use the teensy, stiff brush it comes with (duh, you knew that). A regular powder brush works. My main gripe is how there is no mirror in the compact. That's stupid. There should be one. But the product is good, cheap and convenient, so... I deal with that. Also it is convenient to carry in your purse, unlike with a loose powder. To cover zits, pick up some of the powder on your finger and rub it directly on the zit. That gives you the needed coverage. For non-zit areas, the medium coverage is just right. That way it looks natural, not cakey. If you have dry skin, I recommend you use moisturizer first before applying this product. I am pretty sure I will repurchase.
Styling Products -Got 2 Be - Smoothed Over Straightening Balm [DISCONTINUED]

Good stuff. Works, smells nice. I use it now instead of the Beyond the Zone's Get'n Creamed that I can never find any more! Ppl buy it faster than I can get to the store. So I am now getting this Got 2 Be product instead and it is just as good. The bottle is incredibly cute. Just use a tiny amount. A little goes a long ways. If you overdo, you will get greasy.
So far this seems like a good product. I have a hard time finding Aqua Glycolic and I also have a hard time paying the high price for it. This Olay product also has a decent amount of glycolic acid, with the added benefit of little scrubbies. The warming effect is brief and kind of silly, but I don't care about that. I'm just trying to keep my skin clean and exfoliated and cut down on zits, and my doctor told me to use a glycolic acid product. This stuff isn't cheap, but you get more in the tube than you get paying the same price for Aqua Glycolic so it is probably a better buy. I'm also trying this on my legs because I have a hard time getting a close shave. The hairs like to lie just under the skin. So I figure if I exfoliate first maybe I can do better. Edit: It really does work on legs to get a better shave, and my facial skin is improving with daily use. This product is standing the test of time. I will definitely keep buying it.
So far I'm liking this product. It runs a little dark, so if you are pale, make sure you get the lightest color (which you may have to do some looking for.) It goes on easily. Medium coverage, natural finish (not matte). Buildable to hide problem areas. The bottle is great because it is squeezable and hygienic. Edit: after a few weeks of use, I notice two issues. 1. It gets greasy fast. Be prepared to blot your face a lot. 2. Coverage fades over time. Due to these issues, I've stopped using it as a foundation and started using it just as a concealer along with a powder mineral foundation. It's just too annoying otherwise. The fact that it says "mineral" seems a little silly when I look at the ingredients. It may have a bit of mineral stuff in it, but honestly, it's a regular liquid foundation as far as I'm concerned.
GAH. Usually, Got2Be rocks, but this product sucks. It sprays out in a stream rather than a spray, so you can't distribute it evenly.... it's greasy, and it REEKS. The smell stays, too. Like rotten fruit. So I will have to throw this away. Waste of money.
