Blush -MAC - Sheertone Blush in Gingerly

I've only started using this a few weeks now and its my "go to" blush. I'm nc44 but sometimes my skin can look a little dull so I use this to enhance my look or make my face pop. Its more an everyday color and you can definitely build on the color if you want.

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

I really think the $40 is worth it for this. Okay, it's not a "miracle" product but it's simply divine. You can use it for so many things: concealer, highlighter, and brightener. Usually when I use concealer under my eyes, it tends to sink into any lines and make me look older than I am. But this goes on so smooth and stays that way all day. I also use it on my brow bone and corners of my nose. Even though there's only 4 colors to choose from, you can most likely find your shade because it blends in well. The only thig that annoyed me was the packaging, when you first open it you have to click about 25-30 times before the liquid comes out and I clicked too much and I wasted so much :( so be careful with that.

Like others have said, this can look really natural or like a mask depending on the amount you use and how you apply it. I personally use a pea sized amount and blend it with my mac 187 brush. My face looks flawless and it stays put for most of the day. IMO, this is very similar to mac select foundations except it's only a fraction of the price. Oh and this does have shimmer in it but it's barely noticeable, I think the shimmer helps it to look more flawless.

Gels/Soaps -Dove - Beauty Bar
rated 5 of 5

I've always heard about using dove beauty bar on the face but I never tried it because it was "soap". But the other day I was in the shower and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for a few days now and I don't know if it's just me but my skin looks smoother and clearer. I'll be using this from now on instead of my $38 cleanser and see how it goes. Smells great too!

I have really oily eyelids, after only a half hour of putting on my makeup, my lids look like I've been sweating or working out :/ but anywho, this works really well in keepin my lids matte and keeps my shadows in place for the whole day. Literally, the WHOLE day. Just make sure you let it dry for a few minutes before putting yor shadow on.

Bronzers -MAC - Springshine

One reviewer below hit it right on the dot, this blush looks like an Actual Tan! And not orange or yellow. I'm a NC44 so I'm already tan but this enhances my skintone really well. I buff this onto my cheeks, nose, forehead with my 187 or 129 and it gives me a natural look. I'm pretty sure I can find something else out there that's similar to this as well as the other ombre blushes but its good for what it is. I can see why this was the least popular of the four ombre blushes because this one is not very appealing in the pan. It looks dull. But you should really try it before you judge it.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

Very pretty color and nicely pigmented. I have NC44 skintone and it showed up on me like a sheer pink with lots of gold. Unfortunately, it has way too many gold particles, after an hour or two of wearing it, it made my face look shiny in a bade way. Deep throat looks alot more subtle on me without the gold particles. Too bad it's not for me.

Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation

The bad reviews of this are kind of aggravating. This is not meant to give coverage and people are still complaining about that. But anyways, this gives a really dewy finish and evens out skintone. I have combo to oily skin to I usually dust some powder over this. This is more like a tinted moisturizer IMO. You also get a big bottle and will last forever if you only use it on your face. I use this on days when my skin is behaving. Overall a great product!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
rated 3 of 5
triniloveyxx 3/12/2010 12:48:00 AM

I'm also surprised to see bad reviews on this. It's a creamy, gel like texture and blends in really well when I use my 188 stippler brush. I can see how this can be too slippery for people with very oily skin because this gives a dewy finish. I have combo to oily skin and it works great for me as long as I use a powder over it. So far so good! Update: changed lippie from a 5 to a 3. I noticed my face really greasy after wearing this and a few clogged pores on my cheeks :(. I returned it.

Liquid -MAC - Select SPF 15 Foundation
rated 4 of 5
triniloveyxx 3/12/2010 12:37:00 AM

Im surprised there's so many bad reviews on this. I have oily acne prone skin and this did not break me out at all. I didn't find it chalky because I blend it in with my 188 stippler brush. I took off a lippie because I'm in between nc44 and nc45 so the color match is a bit off. It's not a miracle foundation but does a good job for what it is.

Blush -MAC - Blush Ombre -Azalea Blossom
rated 5 of 5
triniloveyxx 3/10/2010 6:44:00 PM

I'm a NC44 so I thought this would look like a pastel purple on my darker skin. But completely opposite happened! The color seemed to melt and adjust to my skintone. It gave me a nice healthy complexion. I wanted to try peach ombre but it was sold put. HINT HINT:: Estee Lauder has blushes that are very similiar, if not the same. The colors are called peach nuance and plum nuance. Check them out!! I got the peach nuance.

Treatments -Dr. Brandt - Pores No More

First of all, I absolutely hate the feel of silicon of my face and this primer only has that. But this was highly recommended to me so I gave it a try. As soon as I put this on, my face felt slippery and greasy. And after a half hour or so my face was extremely shiny. It even made my makeup look uneven and beige. And no, I didn't put too mug. I returned this the next day! Psshhh $42??

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #129 Powder/Blush Brush
rated 5 of 5

I can't believe there are so many negative reviews about this. I thought this brush wasn't scratchy or hard at all. I've used some way softer brushes before but never worked as good as this one. You can use a light or heavy hand with this brush to adjust the intensity of your blush. And I don't find it too big for putting on blush, just depends on how you use it. I wouldn't use this as a powder brush since IMO it doesn't work well with buffing. Definitely a keeper in my stash!

Blush -Estee Lauder - Tender Blush - Peach Nuance
rated 5 of 5
triniloveyxx 3/9/2010 1:29:00 AM

I was surprised this looked great on my brown skin. This is a two toned blush with a pink and yellowish color. It's buildable too so you can add more if you want the color to pop. I wear this for an everyday, healthy & flushed look. It's not dramatic at all but very subtle. Oh and those of you who are MAC peach ombré lovers, this blush is EXACTLY the same color.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Gaga

I tried this on at the mac store and didn't like it at all. I have very pigmented lips so it didn't blend in well. As one reviewer mentioned, it looked like pepto bismol and made me look like a zombie. But it's a really cute color and I'm sure it looks really nice on pale lips. Too bad I can't wear it :(
