Skincare - Body -Hawaiian Tropic - Dark Tanning Oil

great for achieving that amazing summer tan. i haven't used it recently but i love this. the smell is divine. it can get a bit messy though. the only reason i took off one lippie is because there's no SPF, especially with the whole skin cancer thing. but i'll use it anyway ;P
Blush -Maybelline - Expert Wear Blush in Pinch O Pink
tifferifficxo 4/2/2009 10:21:00 PM
i bought this at CVS for BOGO 50% off. this is my third blush. it is a deep pink & i think the name suits the color to a tee; it does make you look like someone just pinched your cheeks :] it's a very buildable color & gives you a lovely flushed look. the texture of it is also silky & smooth. my only qualms about it is that there can be a bit too much glitter if you don't apply carefully & the cheapy brush it comes with. overall, i would definitely repurchase this !
i am a girl that has never used foundation, until this. i first ordered samples of this & just by using them alone, i really liked what i saw. it is very lightweight & blendable. i like the coverage of it. & i especially love the packaging of it. for reference, i bought the pure beige tone. since this is the first time i'm trying it, i'll wait til a few more attempts at it to reach my final verdict of the product. so far, i don't understand why so many people dislike, but we'll see. i'll be back ! :]
the Jane shelf caught my eye at walgreens, where it was full of orange stickers with tremendously reduced prices. i was so surprised at the eyeshadows. they are so soft & pigmented ! i got brownie points to use as a contour for the outer V of my eye. it's a beautiful color & blends well. for $2.18, it really is a bang for your buck. they have other pretty colors too. go out & get them ! :] i only took one lippie off for the packaging. i find the screw top to be a hassle. i wish it was a flip top but that's okay.
i just bought this at walgreens for BOGOF. it does a great job at making your lashes look natural. it's does lengthen but that's it. if you're looking for thickening or anything dramatic, don't go for this. i got it in black brown & i really like it. it does an awesome job at being "natural".
oh no. this was superrrrr powdery. i can imagine a little girl wearing this. i got this as a sample with the other 4 HL perfumes in the mail. this fragrance is not for me. & although it's only a sample, i've seen the bottles & it seems to me as if you don't get much perfume from them since 3/4 of it is the whole little figurine. buttttt if you like these kind of things, you'll enjoy it.
i just got this today from my cherryculture order. i was expecting a more true, blue-toned red from what i saw on one online swatch until i saw another swatch on YT where it was supposedly said to be a more coral color. i was expecting a bright ugly coral but it's actually not that bad. it's not as coral as you'd think.. it is red but it does have a bit of a coral-ish undertone to it. it's a bright color with a matte finish. it is veryyy creamy. it might not be something that i'd usually go for but i know it'll grow on me. i like it but proceed with caution ! NYX lippies have been known to have decieving swatches.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Pink Grapefruit Body Splash
tifferifficxo 3/16/2009 6:41:00 PM
3/16; i've never purchased this but i wish i had when these first came out. i've only smelled the scent from the hand soaps in the store & by that alone, i am in love with this scent. i love the scent of grapefruit. it's so juicy & fruity. it would be a perfecttt scent for summer.but since it's been discontinued, hopefully they'll bring it out for the semi-annual sale so i can scoop up some of this ! UPDATE 6/15; i finally got this in the lotion & body splash. i was surprised at how it doesn't smell like straight up grapefruit. if there were grapefruit creme candies, this is exactly what it'd smell like. its very juicy yet sweet, with the valencia orange & clementine notes & the musky dry down. i love this & i'd most certainly pick up more of it.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Midnight Pomegranate All Items
tifferifficxo 3/16/2009 6:30:00 PM
i first caught a whiff of this from using my friend's hand lotion & i loved the scent. it's a fruity yet sophisticated scent. however i never got around to buying any of the actual products for myself just because i already have sooo many other body washes, lotions & etc from other places lol. today, i purchased my first Midnight Pomegranate product in the body cream. i can't wait to use it after i shower. i plan on getting the creamy body wash & the EDT or the splash :]
Lip Treatments -SoftLips - Cherry Lip Protectant/Sunscreen SPF20
tifferifficxo 3/15/2009 4:46:00 PM
i love this because it has SPF 20 & that's super important, especially for your lips. it has a sunscreen-y scent & taste which i'm not particularly fond of & the packaging is kinda ehh. mine is like semi-broken; it twists up, but when i try to twist it down, it just stays in place so i haveta manually push it down. but enough of the negative points ! this really does leave your lips soft & there's no weird white muck all over your lips after using it. it's a great balm :] i'll be buying this again.
i have this one. even though it's cherry, it still smells & tastes like butt. besides, i like carmex. it's a great lip moisturizer. i use it at night. it's never tingled my lips but maybe i just like that tingly feeling that certain lip stuff gives.
Eye Makeup Remover -Rimmel - Gentle Eye Make Up Remover
tifferifficxo 3/14/2009 11:54:00 PM
today was the first time i've ever tried Rimmel's MUR. i've been a dedicated consumer of Clinique's TDO but as of lately, have been bothered by the greasy feeling it leaves behind. i've heard so much about this one that i decided i'd give it a try. it's main ingredient is basically water, so any feeling of oil is nonexistent. it still does the job of removing all of my MU as well. how can you go wrong with the price too ? i have no complaints about this product. i'll definitely be repurchasing this one.
my very first NYX eyeshadow, yay ! i had originally wanted luxor but after reading reviews describing the color of this e/s, i changed my mind. i like it alot. it looks BEAUTIFUL on top of Milk (e/s pencil). it's a bright violet color. it also does have some blue undertones, as mentioned in previous reviews. it really is a lovely color. you won't be disappointed with this one :]
i was a bit hesitant to buy this. i wasn't too keen on the color. i bought it online (shopcraze) but they didn't have any of the colors i wanted, so i opted on getting one of the most popular colors. it's a mauve color--very purplish-pinkish. it's not exactly a color i would want in a lipstick but i though 'ohh what the hell'. upon application; it's true that these lipsticks are very creamy & moisturizing. i like that. i was pleasantly surprised by how the color came up on my lips. direct application through the tube looks kinda off on my lips, but if i gently pat it on, it gives my lips a nice color. it's a very natural flush, like someone already said in their review. it looks really nice with gloss on top too. i really like it, but it was a gamble lol. i'd buy it again though. so if you like mauve for your lips, go for this.
i noticed how this was a HG for most youtubers so i gave in & ordered from shopcraze. while i haven't used this on my eyes yet, i tested it out on my hand with an NYX e/s that i also ordered (purple). it looks greatttttt ! it really brings out the color. i love it & i'm sooo happy i bought it. i'm trying not to think about what'll happen when it needs some sharpening though ;x
