this is a GORGEOUS sheer nude with NO sparkles or shimmer. just shiny, creamy, glassy color. i loved it so much i finally had to buy it. i really love the way it tones down the natural redness of my lips without making me look dead. too bad these aren't available in the US!!! the other Glam Shine Juice colors are also beautiful. as with the other colors in this line, the consistency is thin and not at all sticky, but i have no problems with staying power.

i got this on sale in the "go go gold" and it doesn't show up on me at ALL even though i have fairly pale skin. also, i hate the texture. it's supposed to be a cream-to-powder type of thing, but it's really just too powdery and not creamy enough to blend well. =(

fantastic everyday mascara. i'm not sure which i like better, this or the Almay Amazing Lash in the gorgeous silver metal tube. both are great, basic mascaras that do just what they claim and last ages without smudging. great products!! used them for years until i had to switch to Waterproof. =(

this was my HG mascara for YEARS until i had to switch to waterproof (biking in the rain will do that!!). gorgeous, sexy, classy, silver chrome/metal packaging... so simple... a classic everyday mascara. builds well, sticks to lashes well, never clumpy, great little brush. what's not to love??

fabulous, timeless product! the little metal German tins are so handy. i just love putting this on my hands before i go to bed. i've never used this on my face, but on your hands/body this is superb!!

although i ADORE MAC Lipglass, this color is just not right for me. it's too bright and too heavily pigmented. if i apply it reaaally sheerly over copious amounts of chapstick/clear lipgloss, then it's tolerable, but nothing special. hrmph.

this is a GORGEOUS color - very subtle, YLBB, muted plummy/brown/berry color with NO sparkles! and, unlike many of the other colors in this line, it actually smells GOOD! just faintly sweet - no weird tutti-frutti, gag-inducing odor. as for the applicator, i actually like! it's totally different from anything else i have, it works well, and it's kind of fun. i don't mind so much that these are hit-and-miss (with the flavors/scents) - they're dirt cheap!

of COURSE i had to get reeled in by the pretty colors and cute, curvy packaging..!! aggh! this stuff is wet, smudgy, clumpy, and generally a pain in the arse. not worth it!

this mascara was HORRIBLE. the brush looked like some kind of wire/bristle toilet brush or an old industrial bottle brush or something... on top of that, the mascara barely "stuck" to my lashes at all and didn't do anything special for them either. waste of time and money! if you're looking for a good double-formula mascara, try L'Oreal Double Extend instead!!!

perfectly serviceable everyday mascara. nothing special, but vastly better than the majority of other mascaras i've tried. i love how intensely black Max Factor's mascaras are (this and the 2000), but unfortunately, they don't hold a curl well at all. =( when i have the patience to remove it everyday, i stick to my HG - Maybelline Sky High Curves Waterproof.

this is a fantastic everyday mascara. it's not the BEST mascara in the world, but it's easy and quick to apply and remove (this is hugely important to me!) and it gives great volume and color. unfortunately, the formula is very heavy and knocks the curl right out of your lashes... =( if you want absolutely perfect lashes and are willing to deal with the delights of removing waterproof mascara then i highly recommend Maybelline Sky High Curves Waterproof - goes on in a flash and gives you absolutely perfect, separated, curled lashes that last 24 hrs or more. it's amazing stuff!!
