Hair Styling Tools -Sephora - Boar Detangling Brush

At $24, this seems expensive for a hair brush but I thought I would give it a try. I must say, it does seem worth it. It works very well on my long, straight hair - it adds shine, reduces static and makes my hair feel very soft. The bristles massage the scalp, which feels great. This is supposed to be comparable to the very expensive Mason Pearson brushes. I bought a boar bristle brush for about $10 at ULTA before I bought this one, and the bristles kept falling out of that one. I have not had that problem with this Sephora brush.
This brush is just as excellent as everyone says. It just does what it is supposed to - works wonderfully to disperse my face powder and does not shed bristles. And the price is right. Highly recommend!
The SA at Sephora talked me into buying this. It was horrible on me - did not cover well at all and was quite drying. The worst part of it though was how badly it settled into fine lines (and I barely have any). I have never looked so old. Thank goodness I was able to take this back for a refund.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me at all. I tried it several times, on both under-the-skin and already formed pimples. It didn't have any effect on either. My biggest problem with it though is the horrible smell (which I was expecting with sulfur but still). It lingers even after the product is washed off. I am giving it 2 lippies since I used it on my husband and it seemed to work for him better than it did for me. I have had better results with the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask, which also has sulfur in it but the smell of that does not bother me. I use that as a spot treatment and leave it on overnight. Edit 4/19/10 - Okay I am updating my previous review of this. I had a massive blemish that I popped and was desperate for something to put on it and found I still had some of this around. It actually worked well for me this time - dried out the blemish overnight. So I am giving it another lippie. Seems like sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't - wierd!
This is a beautiful color that compliments my brown eyes nicely. It almost seems to have a reddish tone to it, which doesn't sound attractive but it definitely is when it is on. Not sure why they named it Roach, which sounds unpleasant, but who really cares anyway. It is very rich and has a lovely shimmer. And as with all UD eyeshadows, the quality is great.
I love the quality of UD shadows, and this one doesn't disappoint. It is a nice, neutral brown that goes well with my brown eyes. I usually use it with UD Primer Potion in Sin, and blend it with "Toasted" which is my favorite UD shadow. Very pretty!

I got this eyeliner for one purpose only, to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I have tried several different white eyeliners, but they would never show up on my skin. This one does, has a nice shimmer and lasts for a long time. It does exactly what I wanted it to do.
This is a great eye shadow and I have gotten several compliments on it. I really like UD eye shadows for their lasting power and pigmentation. I find that I use this one the most out of all my eyeshadows. It is neutral enough for every day use and goes nicely with my brown eyes. It has just the right amount of shimmer. It is also a perfect shade to pair with darker ones for a more dramatic effect. I use it with Urban Decay Primer Portion in Sin. Love it!
This is a nice mascara. It lengthens more than any other mascara I have tried, does not clump and is a rich, glossy black color. Unfortunately, it does flake a little but not too bad. This paired with my Shiseido Makeup Mascara Base (that I just recently discovered) makes for beautiful lashes.

Thank you MakeupAlley ladies! I would never have known about this product if it weren't for this website. I have been forever on the hunt for a perfect mascara, but none have lived up to my expectations. It never occurred to me to try a primer. I have tried it under three different mascaras, and it makes them all look amazing. I finally have the long, thick eyelashes that I have been wishing for. And it holds a curl all day long! It is expensive but to me is worth it - I won't have to keep buying and discarding endless tubes of mascara. I originally went to Sephora to buy it and was told they stopped carrying it so I had to go to Macy's to purchase it. Highly recommended!
I have oily hair that needs to be shampooed every single day so I decided to give dry shampoo a try. The SA at Sephora recommended this. I sprayed this in my hair according to the directions and then proceeded to gag - the smell of this stuff is absolutely horrible. It smells like cheap, disgusting old lady perfume. I had to jump in the shower immediately to wash this out as I certainly wasn't going to leave the house smelling like this. And as others have mentioned, the packaging is terrible. After I used it, it proceeded to leak everywhere (good thing I had placed it back in the Sephora bag since I was returning it so it leaked all over that instead of my cabinet). Due to the horrid smell and packaging problems, I definitely do not recommend.
This stuff is great. I have it in the pink shade and use it every day. It is subtle and adds a beautiful glow to my face. I use it on my cheeks and brow bones. Only a little is needed so it lasts a very long time, making it a good value. Highly recommended.
I have used this mascara for many years. I keep trying other mascaras but always end up going back to this. I use the black/brown color. It does not clump or smudge (I have a very hard time finding mascaras that do not smudge when used on my bottom lashes) and looks natural. At the end of the day this mascara is still holding up pretty well. This mascara is definitely not going to give you dramatically long lashes or tons of volume. But it will do a good job of enhancing your lashes without clumps, smudges or flakes. Update - I recently discovered Shiseido Makeup Mascara Base and when I use this mascara over that, the results are amazing. The base allows this mascara to go above and beyond, resulting in the dramatically longer lashes I mentioned that it lacks above.

This is a pretty good product for the undereyes. I like the consistency and it does a decent job of diminishing the look of dark circles. It is pretty lightweight though, if you have serious dark circles, it probably won't help much. A big plus is that it never settles into fine lines. I would not recommend this product for blemishes. It's too light to cover them properly.
I first came across argan oil in the "Moroccan Oil" that is sold in some hair salons. While the Moroccan Oil works great on hair, it is expensive and I hated the overwhelming and lasting musky scent. I researched argan oil and found it from an internet company called AAA Shea Butter. It is organic and virgin cold pressed. I use it on my hair for shine and softness. I just put a few drops in my hands, rub them together and then smooth over my dry hair. I also use this on my face, neck and chest in combination with coconut oil. Argan oil is wonderfully moisturizing and I feel it is keeping the wrinkles away. The only negative is that the smell is horrible when it first comes out of the bottle. Thankfully, the scent fades completely away after a few minutes.
