Avon Anew products cause me to breakout. And not shallow surface pimples, but the deep painful kind. This product is no acception. Also, the fragrance...why does it have fragrance? It makes my face greasy, and I used faithful and saw no difference. One thing is DOES do is absorb quickly.

I have very curly, fine hair. I bought this thing after staying up late and watching infomercials. The first time I used it, it was amazing; or so I thought. I also had all sorts of things in my favor: I had just gotten my hair cut, I lived in Las Vegas (no humidity), and the shampoo and conditioner I use are amazing. The results were great. It took me forever though: about 2 hours. I had movement, shine...it was wonderful. I even straightened my hair in Hawaii, and it stayed perfect. However, after having it for about 2.5 years and using it less than 10 times, it died. The thing that drove me most crazy about it was that blinking blue light! It's blinding!! I felt like it was going to burn a hole through my eye! Lol. Seriously though. It was horrible. It was also very heavy. And, what's the deal with STEAMING your hair, when humidity is like the devil to us curly heads?? I guess I'm just spoiled as I now own the GHD. Buy it!!
IMO, this is the best shade of the collection. It is absolutely beautiful on the nails, and provides great visual interest (I must seem so narcissistic when I wear it because I'm always staring at my hands). However, it is a nightmare to apply. So, I knocked 1 lippie off.

This product has completely caught me off guard in so many ways. For one, there is only one shade. Second, I hadn't heard about it AT ALL, and stumbled across it in a corner at Sephora's. Thirdly, it doesn't come with an applicator. With all that said, I am greatly impressed. When I first applied it, it was a bit too tannish yellow on me. Yet, after a few minutes, it completely blended to my skin tone. This surprised me, and after applying it to my whole face, I bought it. I've been wearing it for about a week now, and I have no complaints. I love it. This stuff is an HG I didn't even know I was searching for!
When I bought this color, Ink, I also bought OPI's Russian Navy, and then only a week before I had also bought "Light My Saffire" and "Eiffel for This Color". I started to panic, thinking that perhaps I had simply bought the very same colors with just slight variances. But, I love love LOVE Ink. With 3 coats, the color really just glows. It is a deep purple, with purple and magenta shimmer in it. It is also a dream to apply. (Unlike "Brand New Skates, which is a nightmare.) I would definitely buy this again. I'm on day 4, with a a bit of tip wear, and one teensy weesy little chip on the thumb. Highly recommended.
When I was hunting for the perfect gray, I considered this.(I got Moons Over Mumbai instead) This is a funky color...But I like it. I just wish that it didn't have those ackward red flecks in it. I don't get why they're there.
I finally saved up enough money to buy this thing. I bought mine at Sephora's, but was able to get $100 off because of my credit card allowed me to redeem "points" and I got a gift card for Sephoras. Nice! Anyway, the first time I tried this thing I was very, very disapointed. I nearly cried. I felt so dumb! My hair looked terrible. Why? You ask? Here's what I did; (first let me say I am mixed, I have 3b sholders past the sholders 3b curly FINE hair; and lots of it) I rushed home with my box, plugged it in, brushed out a section, and started straightening. No washing of the hair, tons of heat protectant, etc. It was horrible. So, when I got home, I watched the instructional DVD, and decided to try again. It had been about a month since I had last tried. Since then I had just started using the Wen haircare system (great stuff). . This time I washed my hair, put a dollop of the Wen styling cream, sprayed in SOME heat protectant, blow dried my hair with a round brush, and THEN started straightening. WOW!! What a difference!! I had soft, shiny hair with body, and movement!! I love this straightener!! I would highly reccomend it. I understand that the price is a bit silly. So, find someone who has a beauty license, and see if they can hook you up. seriously. PS REMEMBER, ALWAYS WASH AND BLOW DRY BEFORE you start to straighten!!!
I love, love this blush. The color on my medium/light skin is perfection. I have had it for...about 3 years. Lately I've been thinking about mixing it up at bit, but this is the blush I always return to. The coverage is no natural and gives me such a great glow. It also contains a slight shimmer, but not too much. Perfection. The packaging got only 4 lippies simply because the outside is starting to bubble up; but then again I've had it for forever, so can't really blame it. All in all, 5 lippies!

I'm still sitting on the fence about this product. I went to the mall today, and had a lady apply it with a brush (I normally use my fingers), and then put a powder finish over it. I was surprised at how easily it blended (cause in the jar it looked really thick), and the color match was perfect! (O20 shade). It still looks seemless and flawless, but I'd like to give it a few days. I got two samples, so i will be sure to update. As of now I've had it on for a couple of hours, and I'm starting to become aware of the fact that I have foundation on. I don't like that feeling. ***EDIT*** Um... I hate this stuff. Or rather, I have a love/hate/hate relationship with this stuff. It doesn't stay on. It goes on like a dream, but at the end of the day, I see BLOCHES of it on my face! It moves, and just sits in random spots! This stuff is getting returned. Sigh.

I just got this as a sample from Sephora's, and so far i like it. It's my fist night using it, so this may be premature, but i'm pleased so far. The texture is nice, and the smell doesn't bother me either. However, I have no idea how much this costs... So i'm going to have to look this up. Thank goodness for Sephora's!
When I found this stuff (about 6 years ago) I bought it because it had recieved rave reviews in InStyle, and also because it has consistantly won beauty awards ever since. So I bought it. Back when it was $17! (It's now $32). I have been using it ever since. I LOVE this shampoo! It is my HG. I have never been without it. This shampoo (as with other Kersastase shampoos) is low foaming, so it's not supposed to get all frothy like others. Also, i don't mind the sent. Needless to say I brarely smell it after all these years. It is so moisturizing! I have fine curly, multi-texture hair, and I'm also mixed, so hair products are a bit tricky for me. I love this. However, if you don't have really dry hair, Bain 3 might be too much. Might want to try 2 or 1. The only reason that this didn't get 5 lippies is because I just started on Elasto Curl about a month ago.. I don't know which shampoo I love more!
