Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

My experience mirrored the review below mine. Certainly not good. It also gave me a gray cast. I have found other products, such as matte foundation that work better.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Shine Free Pressed Powder
selmf 9/8/2007 12:37:00 PM
Yes, I would buy this again. I have used this powder as a base for eyeshadow over foundation or primer to even out skin tone.
This color has been described very well in other reviews, (sheer, beige, shimmer). I should have checked here first before I bought it because the color on the website is completely different. Oh well, I will wear it anyway. UPDATE: I have been using this for about one month and it is not very moisturizing, need to reapply constantly during the day.
Pretty color, nice texture. I would buy it again if it had SPF.
The applicator tip is extremely small, actually hard for me to see without my glasses. The second time I used it the tip part separated from the lid/handle. Very annoying! It is probably similar to the UD tranforming potion, (which is never in stock at the ULTA near me). I found other liquids to "transform" my eyeshadows into liner. Such as Visine and Le Femme. I will not buy this again.
This is the second Lancome GWP mascara that I found dry and clumpy. I added some distilled water to give it a try, which did help with the application. I wore it for a week and everyday my glasses and cheeks were full of black flakes. No way would I purchase this mascara.
There was some, but not much, improvement in my hair. Certainly not $12.00 worth. I will keep looking for the treatment that conditions my color treated hair.
Hair -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Straight Answer Straightening Spray [DISCONTINUED]

This straightening spray made my hair frizzie and dry. Will not be buying this again!
The only reason I go to Ulta is when I don't feel like paying shipping, because, the Ulta near me, (10 miles away in Rancho Mirage), always looks like a hurricane hit it. About 6 months ago I was asked to sign up for the "card". I did, I know what rewards cards are, Hallmark, Sallys, etc. The next time I went to the same store as I was checking out, I asked the SA "do you need to see this", she shrugged and said no. Well, I thought maybe the card was just to get my address for mailers. Then I get a letter in the mail last month telling me that I had no purchases on my card and therefore did not qualify for any rewards. No purchases....try more than a hundred dollars. Bad, bad Ulta, you need to train your employees. They will probably clean up their act now that a MAC store opened in the same shopping center.
Skincare - Face -Beyond Belief - Vita C Skin Nutrients - ALL

This review is for the Night Antioxidant Skin Nutrients. I did not notice any dramatic changes in my skin, but this is a very good moisturizer. The scent reminds me of Cremesicles. $5.99 for 2 ounces with Sally card. I don't care for products in a jar.
Moisturizers -Yves Rocher - Pro-Retinol 100% Vegetal - enzymes de jeunesse – Minuit
selmf 7/11/2007 9:22:00 AM
After using it for about 2 weeks on my face, I thought my pores seemed dirtier. So I stopped and used it up on my legs, and never noticed any great moisturizing results. I will not buy this again.
Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - Proclaim Glossing Polish
selmf 7/11/2007 9:06:00 AM
Works just as good as Silk Therapy, (several of the ingredients are the same), and smells good too. Small bottle lasts a long time, but I will repurchase. Silk Therapy is $5.31 an ounce. Proclaim is $1.00 an ounce, (with Sally card).
Conditioner -L'Oreal - VIVE PRO Nutri Gloss Med-Long hair DAMAGED
selmf 7/5/2007 10:45:00 AM
Tried this because of the reviews here, and I am disappointed. My granddaughter and I both agree, it did nothing any other drug store conditioner couldn't do.
Good lip balm for night time, but no SPF!
About a million years ago I sat in an OB/GYN exam room crying because I could not get pregnant. The Doctor in his white lab coat, told me to buy a new cologne and a new negligee on my way home, (they send you for $10,000.00 in tests now), and RELAX. Well, less than a year later my son was born. Tabu was the cologne I bought and it is still special to me. I go through periods when I don't like it, but I come back to it again. Very sexy.
