These glosses are basically tinted Vaseline -same texture, quality and staying power as petroleum jelly. I would have returned it if I purchased it, but since I got it as a GWP from beauty.com I have no regrets.
If it weren't for the recommendations on MUA, I would have never tried this blush since I usually wear cream blushes. After trying it on at Sephora I knew I had to buy it instantly! It subtly brightened my cheeks without looking like I have powder blush on. I've applied this blush on various friends and it looked good on everyone. It is now a favorite of mine -highly recommended!
Sunscreen -DDF - Moisturizing Photo-Age Protection SPF 30

This is a great moisturizer with SPF. I've been looking for a sunscreen but the drugstore suncreens are always tacky and greasy even if they claim to be oil free. DDF protects against UVA/UVB light (for about 5 hours with SPF 30), is non greasy and doesn't give me a white cast even though I have medium/tan skin. I'm a little more conscious of wrinkles and sun spots now that I'm nearing thiry and this is the best way I know of preventing them. Incidently, my bf bought the DDF Matte Finish SPF 30 and loves it. I tried it and it was too dry and chalky for my combo/dry skin but he found that it helped keep his oily skin matte through the day.
Moisturizers -Shiseido - Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer

I love this moisturizer although I wish I didn't because it's so expensive - about $65 for a 1.7 oz jar. It's a cream with a gel-like consistency which absorbs really well and leaves my skin baby soft and glowing. I tried finding cheaper substitutes but nothing worked as well as Shiseido in relieving the dry patches around my face. I finally succumbed to purchasing this when I found it at Costco for under $50. Even my boyfriend commented that my skin looks more balanced and less flaky. Imagine my surprise when I read in People Magazine that J.Lo. uses this moisturizer-now I know part of the reason of how she gets that glow.
This is the best toner I've ever used. It's extremely gentle because it doesn't contain alcohol. I use it after washing my face and I find that it helps remove residual dirt and makeup, prepping my skin perfectly for moisturizer. Another advantage of this toner is that it contains salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid), which helps exfoliate the skin and prevent breakouts.
This is the best lip balm I've ever used. It keeps my lips soft and moist for hours! It's also perfect for prepping my lips for lipstick and lipliner. I've tried chapstick, carmex, vaseline and softlips and this beats them all. Plus, it's cheap, it's readily available at drugstores and it has SPF 15.
