I got this product in a sample size around christmas when I purchased the lip palette and liner set. Little did I know this gloss would be my favorite!! I get the most perfect storybook princess pink color with this. I can never find a good pink and this is it!! the texture is fablous. It is more of a silky gel than a sticky gloss. I never get chapped lips and like the fact that even when the shine wears off,the rosy color remains. Now for the bad part....It is expensive. However, I use mostly drugstore makeup so I guess it's ok to spend 25 bucks on the perfect pink lipcolor right?!?! Well, I justify it any way lol.
I fell into the pore strip marketing scheme when I got a sample from a magazine. It worked so well and I was so amazed, my husband and I went out and bought some the very next day(seperate boxes I might add lol) After a while i realized they didn't work anymore. I always remove a few but never got the results from the sample. I even suspected for a while that they were giving out a "secret stash" of pore strips as samples to rope people in. These will remove a few blackheads yes, but not enough to justify the price or the hassle. I use them much less frequently now and am trying to use them because they are taking up too much space under my sink. My husband lost intrest along the line once the novelty wore off so now I have to use up his box too!! Once they are gone I quit!!
I was a Lush virgin up until a few weeks ago. Tonight i popped this little guy into my bath. It dissolved really fast like two minutes. (the SA told me it would fizz "for like 8 minutes" Ummm no) But it softened my water and made my skin sooo soft. I'm a swimmer and my skin has been so dried out both by the chlorine and the desert air. I didn't need to apply lotion afterward. In fact it may have made my skin a little oily but it is worth it. I did use this with half a mango bath melt from Lush and the two compliment each other nicely. I plan on stocking up in the winter with these!!
I ran out of lip balm the other day and happened to be in Border's books and music where they were selling this by the register. I really didn't feel like making another stop so i bought this. I know that some people really like this balm but I don't care for it. Yes it keeps my lips soft but i don't really notice the softness until it wears off. While it is on my lips all I can concentrate on is that damn peppermint tingle. I may as well admit to myself that I do not like peppermint. I do think think that this will be a good base under lipstick and hold the moisture in your lips well. I will use this up since it was about 4 bucks but next time I'm just getting cherry chapstick.
this review is for the Love spell body splash. While i do like the way it smells, I have to be in a certain mood for it. I adore sweat perfumes but this is almost a little too sweet. however, since it is the splash, you can spritz it on for a quick pick me up and it will quickly fade. I usually use this lightly during a hot day. Victoria secret scents to me are fun and while they do smell good, the novelty wears off and i never end up repurchasing.
I found this product on sale at Target. I was tiered of using Clean and clear and since this was on sale.... I really have no complaints. I bought the one for normal skin types. I really have oily/combo skin but they were sold out of that vareity. I don't have a problem with this making be break out or leaving me shiny. It sinks in quickly and leaves my face so soft. won't interfere with makeup either. I love the container. A little goes a long way and this bottle will last me forever. I also love the scent. It smells so sophistacated and luxurious to me. All in all, I think I may have found my own personel holy grail!!!
There must be something wrong with me. The last 3 tubes of mascara, I've tried I've hated. Sky High curves being the latest. Instead of going back to lash blast or volumioous, which i love, I continue the search. and always end up being disapointed. I have been trying to save money lately and Sky high was on sale for three bucks. I usually go with a very volumizing mascara but bought this instead. First issue i had was that after curling my lashes it just straightens them right back out. I never expected this to curl the lashes but I definetely expected them to preserve the curls I painstakingly created. It is a very thin kinda dry formula that I can forsee flaking off as it dries out in a few weeks. On the plus side, It dosen't clump. OK for a natural look but I guess I expected more. I used Loreal le grande curl years ago and remember that being a whole hell of a lot better. I will never learn.
Gels/Soaps -Calgon - Tropical Dream shower & bath gel

I don't feel compelled to review a product unless i really love it or completely despiseit. Unfortunatly this falls into the latter category. I have never been allergic to any other product but after using this about 3 time i begain to break out in horrible itchy hives. As soon as I stopped using this they went away. I don't think it is moisturizing enough, and it is composed of nothing but chemicals. Plus I paid almost 5 bucks for it and had to use so much to get a decent lather. I could have spent less on St. Ives and gotten something better. Hate it.
Cleansers -Biore - Skin Recharging Foaming Cleanser

I love this cleanser. It foams up big and leaves my face feeling clean and so soft. It gets off all my make up and I love the way it smells. It never makes me break out. I liketo play around with different cleansers but I will most certainly come back to this!
Styling Products -Sexy Hair Concepts - Root Pump Plus

I bought this about a year ago on the recommendation of my hair stylist. I have layered hair past my shoulders. It is slighty way with a medium to thick texture. I like my hair Brigitte Bardot big and for the most part this delivers. It pumps up my roots and crown and lasts really long. I don't wash my hair everyday so when I blow out my hair I want it to last. Now the can is kind of clumsy and cumbersome to use but if you spray it into your palms and work it through your hair it becomes easier. That being said, it is VERY easy to overdo it so use less then you think you need. One tiny spritz too many and hair can feel gunked up and greasy. Overall I like it a lot. It's has a sassy name and seeing the canister on my vanity makes me smile. It's worth a try if you have thickish hair that needs to go up and stay up!!
Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara
realcutiepie 7/15/2008 11:42:00 PM
Why did I buy this? First of all the brush holds WAAAAYYY too mush mascara on it. Even wiping off the excess dosen't sovle the problem because the bristles are too close together to get enough off. 2nd, after I spend time curling my eyelashes this just completely straightens them out. And the clumps just never stop. Big huge clumps. It also travels under your eyes like the devil himself. I got two tubes for about six bucks and while I will use up the tube I've opened, I will pawn the other one off on my mom. If she dosen't want it, into the bin it goes.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Facial Lotion

I bought this on a whim at the drug store when I was shopping for a new moistureizer. I am so glad I did. I've been using it for about three months and my skin is the best it has ever been in my life. I use the day lotion and my face just drinks it up, which is amazing since I have oily skin. I barely break out anymore and need like 75% less foundation than before. This has turned out to be a miracle product for me.
Overall I liked this mascara. It's nice and dark and while I still prefer loreal voluminious, This wasn't bad with adding volume and thickness with not a whole lot of clumps considering the humongous brush. However I have very straight eyelashes and after curling them this just straightens them right out. Even after wiping all the excess goop off of the wand. I also think it may get dry and crumbly in the tube kind of fast, but for six bucks, one can't complain. Twirling the wand a s you apply it works better for me then the "wiggle" technique. I will repurchase in the future but plan to try something different the next tube I buy.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Couleur Experte -hair dye / highlight
realcutiepie 5/10/2008 9:34:00 PM
I used this hair color in shade 3.5. Good points first: the base color was rich and glossy and after almost a month it still looks great. The conditioner was also really good. It's just too bad that after using the highlights and rinsing them out I was greeted in the mirror by orange streaks. I don't want to damage my hair by dying over so I am witing to dye over it with a neutral dark brown shade. The only blessing is that the orange has faded to a reddish copper so it isn't quite so glaring. No more at home highlights for this girl!!!
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser- New
realcutiepie 10/27/2007 1:36:00 AM
I liked this face wash overall.I have oily skin and liked how much it foamed up. It cleaned my skin but didn;t leave it feeling tight or filmy. I prefer my cleansers to have salicylic acid in them but this is a good basic cleanser. I did like the fact that I don't need to add powder throughout the day because it does control shine. However the packaging sucks. It is impossible to get all the product out of the tube. The plastic is too hard ror the thickness of the product. I fianlly cut my tube in half to discover I still had tons of product I never would have been able to get to otherwise.
