This is from the Fall '06 collection, and is mauve shade with a bit of shimmer. The shimmer is goldish pink, and is detectable in indoor light, but oddly not in natural light. This shade appears quite a bit darker on the nail than in the bottle. It has sort of a purple/grey cast which is a little unflattering on my pale skin. This would be better on a deeper skin tone. I probably would not buy this again, but I love the quality of Zoya polishes! They last really well especially with the Anchor basecoat.
Fragrances -Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Amour de Cacao

This is great chocolate fragrance that doesn't smell synthetic or candyish. It's really more of a milky chocolate with a little bit of citrus. This is a foody scent which is not embarrassing to wear. As with all CSPs, I wish the bottle was clear so I tell how much I have left.
Shampoo -Pantene - Pantene Restoratives Anti-Breakage Shampoo

I am also sensitive to this shampoo, and I also found it extremely drying!
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sugar and Spice [DISCONTINUED]

I love this scent, so sorry that it is LE. I think it a version of a garden scent they had a long time ago, but this one is definitely a little bit different. It smells like brwn sugar and a little citrus to me. It smells like a much more expenisve product like one of the Laura Mercier products. This is divine!
I would have to agree with the reader below that this smells like a sixty year old cosmetic product, maybe like an old, waxy lipstick! Not too impressed with this one.
Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade

I bought this because I have Meteorites, and the packaging just annoys me. I really like this product, and find it to be an inexpensive alternative to the hallowed and expensive meteorites. I wear this all over my face, and it's a great powder which gives me just enough glow!
This is way spendy, but works oh-so-well! I have replenished this product at least three times, and am in the process of buying a monster sized container of this stuff of off e-bay! Nothing conditions like this! HG!
I know everyone loves this, but this really dried my hair out a lot. Anyone who is recovering from highlights or coloring should probably not use this unless they have relatively short or normal/oily hair. Dry long-haired people watch out!
These really taste horrible, and they freeze in cold weather(i.e. carrying in purse outdoors). I would not recommend this product.
Moisturizers -Purpose - Redness Reducing Moisturizer with SPF 30

I really wanted to like this product. I got it free in the beauty test tube, and need at least an SPF of 25 since I'm so fair. This has broken me out on a number of occasions, and I am thinking about throwing it out if I can't find someone to give it to. Not my favorite product, I still have dark marks from the zits I got from it.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Strawberries and Champagne Spray

This does smell a little bit like a wine cooler, and it definitely not the most sophisticated fragrance ever! It smells like hybrid between something alcoholic and a generic cosmetic smell. I used to wear this in college when interestingly enough, I worked as a bartender. The creepy guys seemed to love it! I would probably not ever buy this again, but if I did I would try layering it with Miss Dior Cherie or something else. I have the body scrub in this fragrance which is probably enough of this scent for me.
I use this on my bikini areas post-waxing/epilation. It seems to prevent and treat in grown hairs. It is a little expensive, and I will start using a q-tip instead of cotton pad to conserve the product. Over all, this works really well for me!
Lip Gloss -L'Occitane - Tinted lipbalm in "Blackberry"
piratequeen 3/20/2007 5:11:00 PM
i love this colored balm! The color is absolutely perfect for my NW15 complexion, and adds color without looking garish. As a lip color, this really stays put offering a nice stain and looks equally awesome as a cheek color.
I have two samples I got from departments stores, and a miniature bottle I got as a beauty insider from Sephora. I must say, that the first few times I tried this fragrance, I did not like it one bit. It smelled chemical and headache inducing. I have had a change of heart, and will definitely use up the freebies I have. I would even consider buying it, but have way too much fragrance. This is a caramel-strawberry wonder, with a light floral tinge. Although I usually like a more exotic fragrance, this wil be great this spring and summer. It is so carefree and girly smelling, and also strangely addictive!
I really think this is a great product! I have extremely sensitive skin, and shaving my legs tends to trigger irritation. I have used this with great results, and like waxing, the hair grows back much finer. I used this on my bikini line with a numbing cream and had great results. Sure beats spending $60 and up Brazilian. I would recommend getting waxed and epilating the regrowth if you are planning to use this on the bikini area. Otherwise it would probably be far too painful!
