I went into Ulta to sample and at first squirt of this I get that artificial rootbeer smell as I'm sure many others do. Anyway as I'm in the car on the way home I kept thinking something smells really really good. I smell my arm again and the scent has morphed into this wonderfully delicious vanilla-almond gourmound smelling fragrance. I almost hated to have to take a shower to wash it off, all I kept doing was smelling my arm for the rest of the night. So I know that this scent is at the top of my list to buy next!

Lotions/ Creams -Dove - Intensive Nourishing Lotion

I absolutely love love love the smell of this lotion! My sister came over a couple of times after I put this on and she said "girl you smell so good, I gotta go out and get me some of that lotion." Not only is the smell wonderful but it moisturizes really well too. I swear I don't know anyone with more drier skin than me and this stuff works wonders. Gets rid of the ash and everything- for those of you who have ash know what I'm talking about. The only downside for me is the cost of this stuff, $5 is a bit too much for something in the drugstore if you ask me for the size you get. But all in all I guess it's worth it.

Gels/Soaps -Dove - Beauty Bar

My favorite bar soap of all time!! I used to use this then switched to Caress for the great scents they have. I ultimately switched back because Caress didn't seem to get my skin as soft as the Dove bar does. I have perfumed shower gels that I use occasionally when I'm layering my fragrances but for day to day it's Dove for me. It's the only soap that smells clean to me.

Bath Treatments -Palmers - Body Oil

My HG body oil. I absolutely love the chocolatey smell of this oil. I only use this after my shower at night as this would clash with the smell of my perfume during the day. I haven't found another body oil that moisturizes my skin any better than this and I have extremely dry skin. This is something I find myself repurchasing again and again and again.

Cleansers -Dove - Sensitive Essentials fragrance free foaming cleanser

I think I'm in the minority on this one. This didn't lather enough for me and didn't get my skin clean at all. I used my toner/astringent after washing my face with this and there was still some make-up coming off my face on the cotton ball. My mother bought this for me, glad I didn't waste my money on it.***UPDATE***5/4/06 I saw this still sitting on my bathroom counter and figured I'd give it another try... and now I actually like it. What I don't like is how much of the stuff I have to use to get my face clean. I have to squirt the pump 4 times to wash my face. Then when using my toner there is hardly anything left on the cotton ball. And this cleanser doesn't irritate my skin in the least - doesn't take much to do that anyway. Still I won't repurchase but I will finish the bottle now instead of throwing away like I originally wanted to do.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Works Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

I found this in a bargain bin at CVS for about $1.50. And was pleasantly surprised at how much I love this liquid liner. This lasts all day and night on me, even in the morning if I'm too tired to wash the night before(which I try not to do too often-bad bad bad) I'll still see the liner on my eyes.

Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Shining Lip Kisses

I got this at their semi-annual sale and I doubt if I would've purchased at regular pice. I have the shade chloe which is a burgundy-wine brownish shade. In the tube you can see a little sparkle or shimmer but none shows up on my lips. I use this occasionally if going out in the evening as I feel it is too much color in the day. It's a bit sticky, not smooth enough for my tastes. But I guess the stickiness to me gives it it's staying power.

Lip Liners -Prestige - Lipliner

I have this in eggplant, which I fill in my lips with and top with a gloss I got from VS. And it looks fabulous on my mocha/cocoa brown skin. It has great staying power through eating and drinking. This is an awesome drugstore find, better than other top names that I've tried.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

To me this is your basic everyday go to work mascara. Gives you noticeable lashes but nothing too dramatic. I see where the soft part comes in, as my lashes feel as if they have nothing on them. But for me this didn't make them any fuller. Still I would probably repurchase again.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Organza Indecence

I bought this based on all of the rave reviews here... and this one just didn't work for me. Smells great in the bottle but it's just way too incensy on me. I'll probably be giving this bottle away. Luckily I got it on ebay and didn't pay much for it.

It is warm, sultry, sexy and a bit spicy.... on other people just not on me. This smells so good on my mom, but smells very perfumery on me.

Wow!! I have finally found my HG… this is my signature scent now. I absolutely love everything about this fragrance… the top, middle, and base. Which leaves such a warm and sexy smell on me. Edit 8/8/12: Still my fav, although JS Fancy is a really close second. I use this sparingly since I have about a half a bottle left and you can hardly find this anywhere. The amaretto in this is amazing on my skin!

Fragrances -Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique EDP

I know that all fragrances have to do with body chemistry… this one especially. I really really really wanted to like this one cause of all the great reviews it got and the notes in it, but for me it was just ok. I know it's gonna sound weird with me saying this but it smells like just plain ole perfume on me. Nothing really special, it's only been one day so far so I'll have to come back after a few days and update but for me this only gets 3 lippies. Glad I only bought a sample off of ebay. Update: Gave all my samples to my sister and it smells sooo good on her, just not on me. :-)

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Fresh Scents By Terri - Dream EDT

Well I've never smelled Hanae before so I can only comment on this one. I must say that I have fell in love with it! This is something I will be putting into heavy fragrance rotation usage. The vanilla and fig blend together beautifully and what's best is that I finally found a scent that lasts all day on my dry skin! In opinion this is the best of the bunch from Fresh Scents by Terri.

Cleansers -Biore - Warming Deep Pore Cream Cleanser

Okay the warming part doesn't last all that long. Actually only about 10 seconds. But other than that I really like this cleanser. I always use Sea Breeze or something after washing and there's hardly any dirt on the cotton ball after using this cleanser. Plus I've noticed fewer and fewer breakouts.
