Lip Gloss -Chanel - Blizzard Glossimer

this is my fave shade of glossimer. looks brown in the sleek tube, but on my lips, which have pink pigment, it looks like a chocolatey pink. love the shimmer. it's lots of colour and not sticky but not super duper megawatt shiny, though. i usually dab a bit of MAC clear lip glass on top of it for added shine. super duper shine is what i look for most in a gloss, and while glossimer's can be more opaque than shiny, i love this colour and with a dab of MAC clear lipglass, i get the best of both worlds. i am not opposed to mixing two products. (it helps me feel like i am making good use of the dozens of glosses that i have!!!) i am so addicted to gloss...

my best friend got me this for xmas, and it's too frosty and too whitish for me. it washes me out, so i returned it for 'blizzard,' my fave glossimer, which has a chocolatey pink look on my pink pigmented lips.

Lip Gloss -Cargo - Waikiki Lip Gloss

this has an almost pudding-like look and texture in the tin... but it's a lot of gloss and two shades for a reasonable price. looks super shiny in bright lights... i mix the nude colour and the brown shade together and it looks amazing. however, they both look drab and dull if worn alone or unmixed. mixing the shades is they key here!

my boyfriend has chapped lips in winter, so he uses this religiously. makes his lips instantly soft and kissable, and it has a minty fresh taste and smell. thumbs up.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Coconut Lime Verbena

normally, i like coconut-scented lotions and creams, but this is rancid. i bought a sample size when B&BW debuted this scent, and i used it on my hands and i couldn't stand it. i immediately washed it off. i'd rather wear suntan lotion! it smells better. has a tropical scent, but it's rancid. i still have the 2 fl oz sampler here on my desk at work. taking up space!! no thank you!

rf&s is one of my fave B&BW scents, along with night blooming jasmine. it has a play-dough'y smell, but i love it. i love that it's a sweet, light scent that you can wear in spring or summer, as well as a warm, comforting scent you can wear in the fall and bitter winter. i have this on today and just sniffed my arm... mmmm....yummy...

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - True Blue Spa Lay It On Thick Shea Butter Body Cream

this is some of the richest, thickest, most moisturizing body cream i've ever used. my hands get tired from massaging it into my skin...yes, it's that thick! but keeps me soft and smooth. this is up there with body shop's 'body butters'

i luv the colour, but it's sometimes the shimmer washes me out and it's kinda sticky and doesn't stay on very long. i have pink sugar, as well, which is a great colour, but the shimmer is too frosty.

Lip Gloss -Bobbi Brown - Buff gloss

i love the colour in the tube, and on my lips, which are pinkish in pigment. it's just right when i wanna dab on some gloss and go, when i don't want a super precise lip look... the brush is okay, not great, and the bristles tend to bend and flap out, but i get more color from it than i do from regular wands. great shine, but way too expensive for such a minisicule amount. i could blow through this tube in less than 3 weeks, so i use it sporadically.

this is my fave juicy tube...yes, it's such a light shade that it's practically clear, but the smell is divine, and the shine is megawatt without being too sticky. love love love love it
