Powder -Revlon - ColorStay Pressed powder
rated 5 of 5

I have used the foundation from this line a lot and bought this powder to match. I have the foundation in natural tan and this powder compact in medium, and they complement each other perfectly. It controls oil but doesnt dry out normal areas of my face, and gives me a subtle glow. Packaging okay, functional, but i really like revlon products, they are superb quality for the price. x

Bronzers -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaGlo Illuminating Powder
rated 5 of 5

Wow what a suprise! I picked this up in my local tesco for £1.87- and being a WnW virgin, i didnt know what to expect. This has to be a definate re buy for me. It looks pretty matte in the pot but when applied high on cheekbone it is exactly what it claims to be, a highlighting illuminating bronzer. It gives a healthy glow, absoulutely no orange, and is a buildable colour. When i apply i stroke brush in the direction of the stripes, as suggested in other reviews. You have got to try this, you cant lose!

Bronzers -Rimmel - Sun Shimmer Shimmering Maxi Bronzer (ALL)
rated 4 of 5

This is a brilliant budget buy. The packaging isnt great, but you get a MASSIVE amount of product in this, i have it in 001 sunkiss. It has golden shimmers in it when its in the pot but when you apply it it looks completly matte, which i like. Theres not a hint of orange in sight, and it lasts all day on my oily t zone cheeks. I use this very sparingly all over when i have a tan, and/or just on cheekbones as a blusher. Love it!

Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan de Chanel - 62 Terre Epice
rated 5 of 5
lou4k6 6/22/2009 2:54:00 PM

This has been on my m/u wish list for literally years! I was in my local shopping mall and this bronzer was on my mind! I was a girl on a mission, and the helpful SA matched me with 62 terre epice and told me that it was the best selling colour. I didnt think it looked like anything special when the SA tried it on me, but as i'd wanted it for sooo long i wasnt going to give up that easily. Luckily i purchased it and am soo glad i did. First of all the packaging, its soo classy and sophisicated with a very large mirror, so makes touch ups easier. It has a large brush, actually the best ever brush i have had with a product, you can actually use it to apply the product! The case is glossy black with the interlocking c's in golden in the middle. For me- you can't beat chanel packaging! Now, onto the product. The powder is set in waves, which is supposed to mimic sand on the beach. When applied the bronzer looks natural, and beautifully even. It is a buildable colour, and makes you look so sophisicated and healthy. The price is, um, a little high, but hey, its chanel! You have to expect so. I have had this bronzer for 2-3 months and i've hardly made a dent in it. I have a feeling this will last me. If you've got the £££ i recommend this bronzer highly.

Concealers -Yves Saint Laurent - TOUCHE ECLAT #3
rated 3 of 5

I am two minds about this corrector. Firstly let me say that i would NEVER use this to cover up blemishes or scars, it wouldnt do the job, it would make them show up MORE! I have only ever used this under my eyes, where i have mild dark circles. When applied i saw a brightening effect defintely, but as for any coverage-none. But then i think that its not claiming to offer coverage, as you are supposed to use a concealer underneath, then this 'corrector' over the top. Thats when i think, hey im 16 i dont need all that m/u under my eyes, i feel it makes me look a little caked. I will use this up as i feel its good at what it does- highlighting. But due to me feeling it doesnt make much of a difference to my complexion, i will look for a undereye pen with a little more coverage next time. Hope i have explained this okay. x x x

Shampoo -Garnier - Fructis - (Colored hair formula)

Love this shampoo and matching conditioner! It cleans my hair well, and doesnt make me oily at all, and my hair tends to be more on the oily side. Makes my colour stay put longer, my hair looks light, bouncy and glossy. Smells great too!

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Megaslicks Liquid Lip Color in 564A Cherish
rated 4 of 5
lou4k6 6/20/2009 4:04:00 PM

I picked this up today for £1.87 in tescos. I really like it because it appears a frosty pink but when applied it has some peachy, golden tones on my lips. It feels really moisturising, and i love the smell. Lasting power is ok, but what do you expect? I can live with re -applying it!

Self Tanners -Garnier - No Streaks Bronzer Dry Face Mist for the face
rated 3 of 5
lou4k6 6/20/2009 3:58:00 PM

This is a nice fake tanner for the face, feels comfortable ( i spray it on in circular motions and rub in) takes quite a long time to develop. Feels quite oily actually, but i havent noticed its broken me out. It gives a peachy glow rather than an actual tan, i have stopped using it though because it wasnt giving me hardly any colour. I have tried building it up but no colour was showing up, weird. Smell is ok, apricot.

Lotions/ Creams -Dove - Dove Cream Oil Intensive BodyLotion, Extra Dry Skin Advanced
rated 4 of 5
lou4k6 6/20/2009 3:52:00 PM

I really like this body moisturiser. It provides a good amount of moisture and feels lovely when being applied, it left my skin silky and soft. I do not like the packaging as i have to cut it open to get the last bits out, a pump would be better. I didnt notice any offending smell? Can't comment on that. x

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
rated 4 of 5
lou4k6 6/20/2009 3:48:00 PM

I found this to be a really decent emur, but not perfect. I give the bottle a good shake, pour some onto a cotton pad and hold onto my eye for like 10 secs. It usually takes a good 3 swipes to get all e/l and and mascara off. The two things i dislike about this emur is the packaging, which i think is wasteful, i would prefer a pump bottle, and the film it leaves on my eye area, so i have to wash it afterwards. I wouldnt fork out the £13 for this again, i cant afford that regulary, but if i could, i would buy this.

Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap - Mild
rated 4 of 5
lou4k6 6/19/2009 5:03:00 PM

I have previously used this in the 'oily' formula but it was drying out my normal cheeks, but not my oily t zone! I was much more impressed with the mild formula. Its a good basic wash off cleanser, however i will not repurchase as i feel i could get the same results with a cleanser that i could buy for less than half of the price of this one. It gives my face a good clean and removes all of my facial make up, and doesnt dry out my skin at all.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Visibly Clear 2-in-1 wash mask
rated 5 of 5
lou4k6 6/19/2009 4:58:00 PM

This stuff is amazing!! When used as a wash it controls my oil like no other cleanser (or any skincare product) i have ever used. When used as a mask stops my oil breakthrough for the whole of the next day, without drying out my normal cheeks. This helped clear up my acne when used with the oil-free moisturiser. Cant speak highly enough of this cleanser. HG!
