Cleansers -Origins - Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cleanser

I didn't love this product. I used the wash, serum, and cream for a couple months, and though my skin was clear, it was not my favourite face wash... the texture (oily/clumpy) felt yuck, and it didn't take my make-up (not heavy or waterproof make-up either!) off at all. I had to wash about 2 times to get it all off. I used it up, as it did work, but I didn't enjoy the experience so will not repurchase. I also didn't care for the scent.

Scrubs -Origins - Swept Away

I love this scrub. This is my HG scrub actually. I was so surprised that it didn't break-out my sensitive skin. I find if I use it about 3 days a week (in the shower so I can rinse it all off) I keep my skin nice and exfoliated. I love this stuff!

I love this. My all-time favourite scrub. After using it my skin (sensitive, dry skin) feels baby-soft, and the smell is AMAZING. my HG skin scrub.

Conditioner -Aveda - Rosemary Mint Conditioner
rated 2 of 5

I used this product with the Rosemary Mint Conditioner, and combined they made my hair sooooooooo dry. My stylist actually asked what I was using, and was shocked when I told her Aveda, as my hair was sooo dry from it. Shame it was so expensive. The plus side was the smell was yum, so i'll give it 2 lippies instead of 1.

I like this shampoo. It's really expensive, but really gentle and smells great. It doesn't dry my hair out. Will repurchase.

Styling Products -Matrix - Biolage - Curl Definining Creme

I got this half off, and now I know why! it did NOTHING but make my waves flatter, frizzier, greasier... and shinier/softer/yummy smelling. But this is supposed to be a curl product, not a softening/fragrence product, so I am returing it.

Shampoo -Aveda - Rosemary Mint Shampoo

I've tried this product off and on for a few years (using it for about a month at a time) because I have the whole expensive bottle (and conditioner) in my bathroom... and I think I'm going to just use it as a bodywash as everytime I use it for more than a few days, my hair (long, wavy) gets DRY. even my stylist commented on how dry my hair was and asked what I was using, and was surprised when I said Aveda (which is really really pricey in Australia).

Cleansers -Clinique - Rinse-off foaming cleanser
rated 3 of 5
lilyjules 4/3/2008 8:43:00 PM

I have received a few GWP's of this, and used it off and on for a few years when I've run out of my face cleanser, or I'm traveling (convenient size). It works well, and I don't break out or get red (sensitive skin), but it is VERY drying and I have to use more moisturizer after, so I probably would not purchase this as it is too harsh for very sensitive or dry skin IMO.

I like this mascara in "very black". I find it does tend to clump if I put more than 2 coats on, however.

Concealers -Estee Lauder - Smoothing Cream Concealer
rated 5 of 5

I have used this product with Estee Lauder Foundation and with other brands (clinique, chanel, kose), and have found it blends well with all of them. I currently use 02-Light, and find it to cover and blend well, and the package has lasted forever. It is a small tube, but only a tiny amount is needed for good coverage.

Brows -Bloom - Bloom clear eye brow gel
rated 4 of 5
lilyjules 1/30/2008 2:28:00 PM

I am currently using this gel (after trying Mac, Max Factor, Origins) and am satisfied with the way it holds my brows. However, it does seem to flake a bit (which I hadn't noticed using the above mentioned products) hence the 4 Lippies instead of 5.

Lip Gloss -Bobbi Brown - Lip Gloss
rated 3 of 5
lilyjules 1/26/2008 7:54:00 PM

Well I LOVE the colour (buff-4) and the smell/taste of vanilla. That said I really really really dislike the brush. It splayed/bent all over the place after about 5 uses, and the pieces of brush started falling out in the gloss itself! I brought it to a bobbi brown counter (in singapore) to see if it was a default in my tube, and noticed all the samples had the brush hairs cut really short... the SA basically implied it was my own doing (which from this forum I can see it is a fault with the brush itself). I cleaned the brush, and then cut it, which has helped, but there are still gross strands of brush hair stuck in the bottle that come out on my lips ever-so-often. although I LOVE the color, the mess is NOT worth the price. :(

I like this product. It really blended in with my skin well, and didn't feel heavy or smelly. can't really tell it is on. I wanted a sunscreen with a slight tint that didnt make me shiny, and this is it! :)
