Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 4 of 5

This is really great for keeping shadow colours vibrant and definitely stops creasing. I hate the packaging though, very hard to dispense the product. I read from someone's blog that they ended up sawing the tube into half and scooping the product into another dispenser. I might do that...and if that works, I'll repurchase!

Powder -MAC - Lightful Powder Foundation
rated 3 of 5

I switched from RMK to MAC as it was recommended as value for money. Unfortunately, when I went to purchase, the SA advised that Lightful range was suitable for me and this is the range where you pay slightly more for the container. Nevertheless, I tried it and no regrets. I am liking it but it hasn't wowed me or anything like that. My nose still gets shiny after a couple of hours but I doubt there is anything on the market that would prevent my nose from shining in this humid climate!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Water Shine
rated 4 of 5

This is a surprisingly good lipstick for the price! It is highly glossy and more like a lip gloss but does add a nice tinge of colour to the lips. Smell is pretty neutral, I will repurchase!

Masks -Skinfood - Black Sesame Hot Mask
rated 1 of 5

Apart from the 'heating' effect, I'm not sure this mask actually does anything! Can't say I like the packaging either. It does smell like black sesame paste though!

Fragrances -L'Artisan Fragrances - The Pour un Ete

Very light and refreshing summer scent. Problem is it has zero staying power. I transfer a small bit of it to a portable Muji glass spray container and use it from time to time throughout the day. Abit of a hassle but worth the while!

Conditioner -L'Occitane - Repairing Conditioner (Dry & Damaged Hair)
rated 5 of 5

Excellent conditioner used in conjunction with the shampoo from the same range. I ended up using the conditioner faster than the shampoo although it should really be the other way round! Read my other review on the shampoo!

Shampoo -L'Occitane - Repairing Shampoo (Dry & Damaged Hair)
rated 3 of 5

This shampoo works very well for my highlighted hair, but I believe that using it in conjunction with the conditioner is more effective. Usually I get the impression that repairing shampoos tend to be abit on the greasy side to provide enough moisture but this is gentle enough for everyday use and has a wonderful scent!

Lip Gloss -RMK - Gloss Crayon EX-02
rated 4 of 5
leung 10/13/2009 9:49:00 AM

This is a neutral/brown shade of gloss. Although it looks dark, it is very natural when applied. My only gripe is it needs sharpening very often and you get the feeling that the product disappears! Moisturising for the lips and light to carry around!

Moisturizers -RMK - Recovery Gel
rated 4 of 5
leung 10/13/2009 9:45:00 AM

This is a good moisturising product to use before bed. I woke up the next morning with smooth supple skin. It is in a yellowish gel form with little white ceramide dots which will just dissolve when you apply and spread over the face. HOWEVER, it does lose its effect about halfway through. Therefore my plan is to stop using it for awhile and then come back to it again after a couple of months.

Misc Beauty Tools -RMK - Oil Off Paper
rated 2 of 5
leung 10/13/2009 9:41:00 AM

Imagine carrying a miniature toilet roll in your handbag but instead of toilet paper, its cute coloured paper to blot your face! The packaging is fantastic and you need only to dispense what is necessary. The paper comes in pink and green I believe and you can purchase refills. The idea is great but the actual 'absorbency' of the paper is rather blah. I find it absorbs but not enough so I always end up using alot. The Johnson blue oil absorbent papers are better in terms of quality but this would be a fantastic gift for a friend. Whimsical and totally adorable! Would have given it a 3 but taken 1 away for function.

Eye Shadow -RMK - Mystique Eyes 03
rated 4 of 5
leung 10/13/2009 9:35:00 AM

Very innovative product! This comes in 5 shades and easy to use. Basically sweep the brush across all colours and apply on the entire eyelid. You can play around with the 5 shades to achieve different tones/strengths of the grayish blue colour. I like the shimmery silver best. That comes on last and is really great for night wear. Surprisingly not that pricey for a nice palette with various uses.

Concealers -RMK - Super Basic Concealor
rated 3 of 5
leung 10/13/2009 9:31:00 AM

This is second to the Cle de Peau concealer in terms of texture / consistency. However it is very pricey and I doubt that you really need 2 shades of concealer. The point is to mix the 2 colours to achieve the perfect shade for concealing your flaws. But because of the way it is pacakged, i.e. in a palette form, it is very difficult to mix. The white powder that comes with it is useful over the concealer but again, one can easily use a white eye shadow for the same effect. Therefore I will stick to Cle de Peau!

Gels/Soaps -Molton Brown - toko yuzu
rated 2 of 5
leung 10/12/2009 10:14:00 AM

I had a free sample of this when I bought some Molton Brown stuff. I brought it to the gym but I can't say I like the musky/spicy orangey scent. The scent lasts all day too! My favourite in the MB range is still sea moss and eucalyptus!

Eyeliner -RMK - Ingenious Eyeliner N - 08 Deep Brown
rated 4 of 5
leung 10/12/2009 9:55:00 AM

My new fave is the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner....but prior to that, it was this RMK eyeliner. It is easy to use, glides on smoothly, lasts all day and doesn't smudge. I agree with the review that it is abit stubby and gets 'thick' very quickly. This means you waste the product each time you sharpen the eyeliner. Also, it is not the regular length of most pencil liners, it is slight shorter so you'll find that you use it up very quickly.

Cleansers -RMK - Creamy Soap
rated 1 of 5
leung 10/12/2009 9:50:00 AM

I use alot of RMK and usually like most of their stuff. This is one that really did not sit well. Extremely soapy and dries out the skin. Definitely do not recommend even for combination skin. My face felt super tight after due to the dryness.
