Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment - Lily White

I think this is just stunning. I bought a full one and a sample on Ebay and tested the sample, and it just looks glowy and angelic on. It lasts forever. My only caveats are that it is a bit glittery when I prefer shimmery, and I am so afraid of spilling it!

It is all that I hoped it would be--gorgeous and natural on my NW20 skin. I used a plain ole foundation brush to apply, too.

Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge Sensation Coquette

This is a very pretty color, but I agree with one of the reviewers below that it is a golden peach more than a mauvey color--at least on me. I am very cool-toned, so the color does not work for me, but I think it would be very pretty on those w. neutral/warm tones. I am saying that I _would_ buy it again if my skintone were different!

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Pink Face Palette
rated 5 of 5

This is a beautiful Spring palette. I am very cool-toned (PPP) and was nervous that everything would be a bit too warm for me, but, as is usually the case in my experience with BB, the shades are universally flattering. The only thing that does not suit me is the brownish/beigey l/s, but the other two are very pretty. The blush is darker and warmer than Pale Pink, and more pigmented--I have to apply w. a very light hand. The shadows do not look exciting in the pan but are very elegant and brightening on. I received this in the same package w. a peony shimmerbrick, and I am much more pleased with this purchase--only about $10- more than that dinky little brick! I am already considering buying a back-up for this lovely, reasonably priced palette.

I am always looking for goldish-pink lippies that are not too warm--this one looks beautiful on my nw20 skin. Like Nars Sweet Dreams but better smelling!

Lipstick -Laura Mercier - StickGloss in Peony
rated 4 of 5
kristenmc1218 5/22/2006 3:16:00 PM

I like this well enough, but I don't find it interesting or flattering enough to buy again. I don't understand what is "peony" about this lipstick--and it is a lipstick, not a gloss--it is a frosty plum. I was looking for a springier color.

This is an excellent primer & I prefer the packaging to the annoying wand of UDPP.

Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Split Pan Bone Shimmer Wash/Black Plum
rated 5 of 5
kristenmc1218 5/21/2006 10:19:00 AM

This is my second split pan, and it makes me even more in love with BB shadows--I think the quality is fabulous. The Bone can be applied nicely either with a brush or finger, and the black plum as liner looks beautiful with it. I wore it last night w. Urban Decay Primer Potion, and it looked gorgeous all night. I am NW20/Hazel for reference.

Blush -Cargo - Polynesia

I am NW20, and I am in love with this blush--it is PERFECT for my skintone--only second to BB Pale Pink. I am a blush fiend and am so happy to have found this one--a must for the cool & fair. It reminds me of a more pigmented and cooler berrier pink Dandelion--I could not be happier!

Lipstick -Paula Dorf - Havana
rated 5 of 5
kristenmc1218 5/19/2006 3:27:00 PM

Yay--finally an MLBB for this NW20!! Paula Dorf now makes my two favorite lipsticks--this and Spunky. This rich but sheer nicely textured l/s is what Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey is for warm-toned women but definitely was not for me. The color is a mauvey pink with a tiny touch of beige/brown--very tiny--just enough for it not to be tooo cool.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Grain

Finally, a MAC shadow I like! I have been disappointed with the quality and colors of all the MAC neutrals I have tried, but this one is very pretty--reminds me of a cooler version of the NARS AAE shimmery shade. This is cool and shimmery with a less chunky unappealing textures than Naked Lunch, for example, which did not work for me at all (NW20, hazel eyes for reference).

Palettes -Bobbi Brown - Sexy Glamour
rated 5 of 5
kristenmc1218 5/17/2006 6:51:00 PM

I adore Bobbi Brown palettes because flattering colors are hard for me to find b/c I'm so cool-toned and fair, but her palettes seem universally flattering. This is beautiful and glam but elegant and subtle. I never wear grays, but the shimmery silvery shadows are gorgeous on my NW20 face, as is the dramatic lip color that has just enough brown without too much to wash me out. This is my second BB palette, and I just bought the Pink Sugar one, too!

I am pretty sure I'd buy it again, but I have to say that I really dislike the artificial old lady perfume smell. Yuck. Otherwise, I agree w. the reviewers below.
