Lotions/ Creams -Freeman - Body Butter-Sunflower & Vanilla Sugar

Okay, I know I just posted how much I love this, but maybe after being spoiled by so many lushious etailer's butters and lotions my tastes have changed. I tried to use this a few days ago and was repulsed. The smell is still magnificent, like vanilla cake. But the consistency is like wall spackle. In fact, that's how I felt rubbing it onto my skin, like I was trying to patch in the rough spots or something. It would not rub in, just sat there, like I needed to sand it off. Ew, I'm putting this under the sink until winter.
This is okay. I have Beachin in the shower gel. I smell a tiny hint of something besides coconut - pineapple maybe? and a smidge of vanilla. Not bad at all, her shower gels are very nice, if a tad runny.
I liked it. Have it in the body mist, I think it complemtents foody lotions well for the 5 minutes you can smell it. (I'm not complaining about the staying power, just telling it like it is.) It is a warm vanilla frosting type scent to me.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Coconut Body Butter

I adore this product. It's right up there with the Nut variety at TBS. Smells so amazing, and the scent lasts and lasts on me. It is slightly greasy, and better for me to just use at night. But with that coconut/vanilla type smell, I'll be slippery for a day - it's worth it.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Coconut Lime Verbena

I was dissapointed in this. After all the raves, I don't know what I was expecting....maybe more coconut? It smells "limey" definitely, and maybe a teensy bit sugary. Smells EXACTLY like a tanning bed lotion, Designer Skin's Worship, which gave me a headache after tanning with it. Don't think I'll get this again. The sales assoc. hinted that it was going to be a part of the regular line, since it's so poplular.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Creamy Coconut Body Lotion

I am ticked that this is discontinued now. Why do they do that? I ranted to the SA at the BBW store today, this was my perfect, soft vanilla-coconut scent. This smells really strongly of coconut oil at first, and you think - oh no, suntan lotion. Then it drys down to a foody type scent...mmmmmmmmm. I will hoard the rest of my body cream of this.
Lotions/ Creams -Totally Juicy - Totally Nutty Shea Butter Heel Cream
kindergirl 6/17/2003 11:19:00 PM
I am loving this stuff! I couldn't agree with you guys more - this is much better than the BBW true blue heel cream, for WAY less money! Smells very good, reminded me of Body Shop's nut butter scent at first. Is a tad greasy, but it's supoosed to be that way, with all those oils. My hubby likes it too, I'm hooked
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Strawberries and Champagne Spray

It's been awhile since I've had any of this, but now I'm craving some! This was always my fave scent from VS, had to have it all forms - gel, lotion, spray and powder. I always got compliments, and even my friends' boyfriends would comment, so I think guys really like it, too. It was never overpowering, it just smelled great. I need to go to VS....
Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds Liquid in Luminous Lilac
kindergirl 6/1/2003 9:46:00 AM
I'm am totally loving this product! RIS in Lilac and Rhinstone Pink and use them over everything else. This is so, shiny, so irrediscent, and just a light pretty shade (they're almost the identical color) The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to last - at all. In less than an hour, it's dissappeared. Oh well, I'll just reapply.
I am not a product snob at all - I use Suave and Equate products all the time. I used to use the mild soap from Clinique because it was an affordable department store brand, and I thought I needed to try something "better" for my teenage skin (sigh....years ago...)It did a fine job for me then, but I tried to use it again, a few years ago on my 22 year old skin and WHOA! This stuff is SO irratating and makes my face burn! Strange, but I'm not trying it again anytime soon.
I tried this last year in the Bananaberry scent. I liked it as a general bodywash, though the scent was way too sweet to me. Smelled good, but like laffy taffy, so I felt like I was bathing with sugar. I'd like it better in another scent, and though I didn't think the wash was anything spectacular, it does the job - I'd buy it again, in a fresh- type fragrance nexe time.
I totally agree that this doesn't smell like a cake at all. I was SO expecting it to smell sweet and vanilla-ish. Only smelled a strong cherry smell. Weird.
Defintely impressed, I will keep this in my bathroom from now on! Thanks to the product reviewers who made me want to try it! I don't think it smells truly like chocolate, but the power of suggestion makes me tell myself it does. I was impressed with how nicely it went on and how great my skin felt after using. And the price is amazing - I am conflicted as to whether I need more expensive lotions now, since this does such a nice job.....NAH I still need em, but this is great on filler days.
This smells divine. My dog has a fit when I wear it, so I take that to mean it smells pretty authentic!;) It is so true that it doesn't last at all, really more like 10 minutes on me. But I have the 4 oz, I'll just keep respraying. Smells REALLY good layered over BBW Creamy Coconut body cream.
I tried this the first time as an extra from a Body Shop party sales rep. I was hooked, as she knew I would be! The dreamiest orange fragrance EVER! I love showering with this, and everyone that goes in the bathroom after me loves it too! What a treat to use.
