Okay, so I am about to admit that while using this product, it's the only time in my life that I've considered actually drinking bathwater. No wait, I probably did when I was a small child, but it was because I couldn't help myself! Anyway, this is a glooorious bath powder that smells so yummy and feels so good on your skin! I think I first saw this in the Oprah Magazine last year and thought it sounded like a strange product, but cute packaging. I saw this at Sephora and HAD to get it. I am so glad I did because this is a real treat and just in time for the Holiday season!

Liquid -Becca - Luminous Skin Color sheer foundation

I have been trying for years to figure out the whole foundation thing. After getting tired of the whole cakey, splotchy look with just about any foundation I used, I switched to Bare Minerals. Bare Minerals is great, but sometimes I need more coverage. So I tried Becca Nude Luminous Skin Colour. This is IT! This is the look I have always wanted, in a nice, light, creamy foundation! No caking, no splotching! Of course, I am not giving up my minerals any time soon, but I WILL be adding this Becca foundation to my rotation and for days that I feel I need more coverage or a creamier look. Awesome!

Loose Powders -Stila - Loose Powder

First, let me say that I love, absolutely adore the packaging! As with most Stila products, that was the big draw for me. Now on to the nitty gritty...I am not impressed with the "staying power" of this powder. I have an oily t-zone and my nose is shiny within about 30 minutes of applying this. No matter how much or how little or what method I use to apply it, it just won't stay! What's the deal? What's the point?

Fragrances -Escada - Ibiza Hippie

This is a gorgeous, gorgeous fragrance! I received some of this in a swap and I am bowled over! I sort of expected that it would smell like patchouli or sandalwood or something by the name of it. It doesn't smell like either to me. My husband is crazy about the fragrance and I fell in love with it at first sniff!!!

I got a nice big sample of this in a swap and I am thrilled with the fragrance! It's gorgeous! I normally really dislike fruity fragrances and tend to go more for sweet florals, but this one is a nice blend of fruity & floral &, well, I don't know what, but it works! It really works! And it doesn't dissipate right away like a lot of the hyped scents!

Eh, it's alright. I really was expecting a mini-miracle for my frizzed out hair, but this ain't it. Maybe for others, not for me. I used a lot, I used a little, it just didn't put out for me...wouldn't buy this again. I'll stick with my styling wax.

Pressed Powders -Smashbox - PHOTO MATTE anti-shine pressed powder

Well, I am really more of a Bare Escentuals, mineral makeup kind of gal, but after a few years of trying to make their Mineral Veil work for me as a finishing powder, I just had to bite the bullet and ask the girl at Sephora what to do about the major shine on my nose, forehead, etc. It's not oily, it just looks shiny. She suggested Smashbox's Photo Matte. I am leary of pressed powders because I really overdid it with the Cover Girl pressed powder when I was in high school and it never made me look any better, just worse. We chose shade #2, which is darker than I would have chosen without trying them. It was perfect! And it goes on silky, no caking and really helps control the shine. Lurrve it! Sorry BE, you still have me on the foundation, but this is my new finishing powda!

I love absolutely evvverything from TBS Cranberry line...I am so sad when I reach July and I am out of something from this line because it's seasonal...and that would be my *only* complaint about it. Otherwise, it is a gorgeous fragrance, nice and crisp. I normally don't care for fruity fragrances, and this one sounds like it would be, but it's not. I don't know how else to describe it but crisp & festive. Highly recommend at least trying this one out!

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Krizia

I got this on the sale page at Sephora. I was surprised by the bottle lighting up (which actually takes batteries, ROFL), but pleasantly so. The bottle really pushes this scent over the top. Otherwise, it's average. I do adore it, though, and find it a welcome addition to my fragrance collection. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and don't regret it a bit!

Got a sample of this in a trade. Used it in the shower and I felt SO slicked up, it was absolutely DISGUSTING! It smelled nice while I was showering, but once I rinsed it, got out and dried off, I was still greasy AND smelled like vegetable oil...old vegetable oil. What a bummer! At least I only got a sample and didn't buy a whole tub of it, because it really smelled nice in Sephora! Steer clear, this stuff is gross! If you want a nice scrub, go for Urban Decay Cream & Sugar...foams up, rinses off, smells good for a while!

What a JOKE! What a scam! What a MORON I am! LOL Seriously, though, this is the biggest scam I have fallen into in a long time! So I have to have this stuff because I am a trend slave, right? I trade for a full bottle of it, the 1.7 oz. I open the package, pop the top and spray it on. Smells sweet, and sort of nice! I walk into the other room to let my DH take a whiff and the fragrance is GONE! Not faded, GONE! Whoa, that has never happened to me before! I know that part of the "thing" about this stuff is that it tastes good, but my DH is not big on tasty stuff on my skin, so if that is why you're buying it, go down to the local sex shop and get a tub of flavored oil, it won't taste any worse than this and you can save yourself about $40!!! Total junk!

Junk! Junk! Even my 9 year old daughter thinks this stuff is pointless! I got a sample of this fragrance in a swap and about 5 minutes after I applied it, the fragrance had dissipated...gone! Oh yes, it tastes sweet, but my dh and I have more to do than just sitting around licking each other all day (what a drag it is getting old). Aanyway, yes, I succumbed to the hype and actually have full sizes of this on the way in other swaps, so watch my swap list if you want some of these! I'll be posting them!

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - Kitten

A good friend of mine gave me the Kitten in Champagne as a gift and I was thrilled! I am still thrilled! However, the sparkle doesn't last and from the very first time I used it, most of the shimmer powder comes out of the TOP of the puff rather than the bottom. I even tried putting it on over a thick moisturizer, but no matter what I try, it's gone by the time I make it from my bathroom to the car. It doesn't smell like much really and what it does smell like is only what you smell when you actually sniff the puff...the scent doesn't linger on your skin. It's a pretty shimmer, but doesn't last. As with most BeneFit products, I loove the packaging, though!

Powder -Philosophy - complete me

Well, I was a huge "Complete Me" fan. That is until I met Bare Escentuals. When I first started buying "Complete Me", I didn't know about BE, but I was glad that there was a powder mineral foundation out there because I was tired of the heavy liquid foundations that I had been using since I was a teenager...they dried out my skin, ended up looking tacky & blotchy and overall I just hated them. The thing about Complete Me was that the coverage was not enough for me...I wanted it all...I wanted the natural powder mineral thing going on AAAND the coverage I got from my old liquids...but I wanted it to last all day. I got one out of three with Complete Me. It was a nice product and all, but BE is heads and shoulders over this product any day of the week.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Pocket Palette Quad #2

This palette is gorgeous! I love the colors...some more than others, of course! They go great with my blonde/blue eyed complexion. nice and earthy but shimmery, too! Nice design, too! I need to get another!
