HG absolutely best heat protection spray i have ever used leaves no weighty or greasy feeling, smells absolutely gorgeous and seems to work which is also great, i tried tresemme before but am not a fan of that glad i tried this will use forever
beautiful soft pink peach blush, nice for layering with mac coppertone to give more depth - im a mac C40 its such a natural colour for me i would defiantely repurchase can find similar colours for cheaper anywhere but the quality of mac is great love this blush
so this is defiantely peach quite a bright orange im mac C40 and it works on my skin tone however think it would be too warm and bright for light skinned girls as even i have to use it sparringly and blend well to not look too tangoed but you never know until you try i suppose, i layer over coppertone to give it depth and mute it down but i would not re-purchase lots of similar colours to move on to in the mac line, my next buy will be 'gingerly' when this is nearer to finishing as i think this melba and coppertone cover the bases when it comes to blush shades in this colour family and want one to run out before replacing - you can't really tell the difference between every single blush out there once its on you cheeks if we're honest! we just LIKE to have them all i think
i used to apply eyeshadow with my fingers and still do on occasion as its a good way of preventing fallout and getting a lot of colour on quickly, i bought some ruby and millie brushes which are good too but a bit scartchy and bought this after youtube and MUA hype yes its a great brush nice and flat and small good for my small lids, eyeshadow is not my main thing as i have very little lid space thats probably why i could live without this brush, i think blending brushes are more important though as blending is the key to beautiful eyeshadow as we all know, however i dont regret buying it though as i do use it frequently and it applies smoothly and i can see why it would work great for girls with larger lids wish i had bigger eyes!!
got this as its raved about on youtube and well reviewed on MUA by tan and olive skinned girls, i always look at the skintone of the reviewer, its a lovely colour - good basic staple that goes with a lot of other colours well although its a frost i find the finish more like a veluxe pearl, think this is because its a darker colour and does not look too frosty. im not a fan of too much frost or shimmer it makes my skin look greasey uneven and kinda burnt if that makes sense
i asked a mac SA to pick me a highlight colour, im indian and mac C40 and she was indian too thought she would pick a good one, i asked for no frost but this is a frost! i bought it anyway as she said she could not live without it. its very pigmented and very bright and quite shimmery to wear daytime you have to apply with a fluffy brush to keep it appropriate for work for those of us who dont work at makeup counters its nice but i could live without it i have since swatched floof and ricepaper and would have preferred them but dont want to spend too much on colours that are too similar at the moment i want to buy unique colours then start adding to my collection with shade differences or at least wait till next payday!
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Duo in Strawberry Fudge
harsha1980p 8/8/2010 7:06:00 PM
got this as a GWP bonus time years ago and its gorgeous great for every day smooth and well pigmented - not sure if i would buy it as clinique shadows are quite expensive £18.50 for 2.5grams duo's my one is 1.3 grams though i have been using for years and you only need i swipe with your finger to cover your whole lid if i dont find a suitable dupe i will repurchase when its finished. I have found a nice altenative in bodyshop shadow number 40 but it is more mauve / purple cool toned when swatched but more similar when applied to eye i plan on buying mac expensive pink next month which will be a nice alternative
i used the rimmel liquid eyeliner for about 10 years just fancied buying new things saw this on a youtube vid and its great it has a thicker felt tip tip applicator which took a little getting used to as the rimmel ones really thin but its good for doing a thick line as well as thin and is a beautiful jet black that lasts all day, im intrigued to try gel liners next but they sound like they will take longer to apply and product could dry up and be wasted, will try them instore doubt i will buy think liquid and pencil are fine cheap quick to apply and last for months with daily use by the way the Topshop felt liner is absoluely amazing its actually my HG but not available to review on MUA
i bought this on a whim probably after a payday as had never tried a highlighter before, its nice and sublte and you get a lot of product, i was not interested in benefit highbeam or moonbeam both were too pink for me and very expensive i have no idea if they have more payoff this is quite subtle on me mac C40 a little pink but still nice good when using cream products as its natural and dewy looking - thik it will last forever hope it does not go off i would use it more if i gave myself more time to get ready in the morning but im always in a rush and end up just sticking to the basics on work days so thats my fault
love Barry M great quality great price great colour range my absolute favourite is pink flammingo a warm creamy pink coral
my favourite shampoo and the most expensive ive used its £10 but lasts me about 3 months if not more i wash 2-3 times a week no more, this smells divine is fun to use i love the way the salt mixture turns to creamy frothy lather there are no lathering issues (are the people that are complaining actually using any water!) you just slap a good dollop on your head douse for a second under shower head and it lathers beautifully and leaves hair squeaky clean but definately needing conditioner i use with either lush 'american cream' conditioner or soap and glory 'hair supply' my hair is in the best condition its ever been in yes it has made my hair fuller but most importanly i have no problems with static which is my pet hate with shampoos, fructis and pantene are awful for this on me the only other shapoo i like is the red loreal one for coloured hair.
i have tried various shampoos and conditioners over the years usually a different one after the bottle finishes i have 2 favourite condiioners this and 'soap and glory hair supply' i altenate use between them to make sure my hair does not get too used to one and it stops working. the smell is divine i leave in for 2-3 minutes use with big shampoo and hair is soft and smell lingers until you wash again i wash every odd day or longer if i can get away with it i find the more you wash your hair the more you need to
My HG mascara i think mascara is something that is very dependant on the size of your eyes and your lashes my eyes are small quite hooded and i have fairly short lashes that go straight out, this has a very thin brush which means i never make a mess of my mascara and dont get it on my eyelids, its easy to do bottom lashes with it. This mascara also makes my lashes very long so after they have been curled they are perfect it does thicken a bit too but not massively but i prefer long and defined lashes, more elegant than thick lashes which close in my eyes more, long lashes open up my eye area and look more natural.
