I've used this concealer for years now and it doesn't disappoint. I use the Mod. Fair and it covers my dark circles flawlessly and the redness around my nose. It does a great job of covering pimples and the red marks leftover from previous zits. It doesn't settle into fine lines and stays fresh looking all day. I'll continue to use this forever!
Though Clinique High Definition Mascara is my HG, this mascara is a close second. This mascara makes your lashes dark, long, thick, and soft. The only issue I have with it is that it takes a while to apply. I had to brush my lashes for several minutes to get the desired result. Other than that it's great! I'm a sucker for huge mascara wands and I'm not a fan of anything with the plastic comb-like wands, which make my lashes look like long twigs.
Styling Products -Redken - Real Control Crema Care

I've been using this product for several days now and I'm definitely happy with it. I have a lot of fine hair and it's damaged and dry from too much highlighting. This stuff makes my hair extra soft and less poofy and frizzy. The ends of my hair always look wrecked, but my hair is a lot smoother since using this product. I rarely dry my hair in an attempt to prevent more damage and it dries wavy and smooth. I will definitely repurchase.
I regularly use this and it's great for build-up or if you have hard water. It removes any gunk from your hair. I lather it in my hair and leave it on for about 3-5 minutes and then rinse. My hair is squeaky clean afterwards. I follow up with either All Soft conditioner or the Blonde Glam Pure Pearl. It makes my hair feel awesome! A bottle lasts a while too since you don't use it daily. I use it about once every week or two.
This is my HG shampoo/conditioner. I love it! I typically highlight my hair and it tends to be a bit dry on the ends. This makes my hair soft, doesn't make it greasy, and does not build-up. I still use the Redken Cleansing Cream every few weeks or so because I have hard water, but I've used this for several years and have never noticed build up even without using the Cleansing Cream. It smells delicious. I know this may sound weird, but remember how Cabbage Patch dolls smelled like baby powder??? This smells like that to me! haha!

Moisturizers -mark - See Things Clearly Brightening Moisturizer

This is a great nightime moisturizer for me. It has a bit of shimmer to it, so I don't use it for daytime. I use Mark's Matte Chance Moisturizer for day. I find this stuff really improved the clarity of my skin and seemed to fade the few red spots leftover from popping pimples ( I know this is bad, but sometimes I can't help myself!). I love that it's oil-free and it doesn't cause breakouts for me. The packaging is super cool and the lid dispenses the perfect amount. The pump literally uses every drop of the moisturizer too. When I finish a jar and open it up, there is literally no trace of the product left inside. It is a bit pricey, but they often have the Mark skincare line in the demo books for half off. It's worth the price!
I loooove this stuff! I've been through about 5 jars so far. It's such a light moisturizer for day and keeps my face fairly matte throughout the day. My skin is pretty oily, so that's awesome! It doesn't have an SPF, which is a bummer, but I have SPF 15 in my powder so it works for me. The jar is also super cool and doses out the perfect amount. Out of the 5 jars I've used, 2 of them ended up clogging and I had to turn the jar upside-down and shake it before dispensing it. One of them I ended up having to take off the lid to scoop the rest out, but I love this stuff so much, so it was worth it. The jar lasts me about 2-3 months. It also smells good, doesn't irritate my skin, and doesn't cause breakouts!
I tried this mascara for the first time this morning. It is just okay on my lashes. Luckily, I got it in a demo mag for about $3, so I didn't waste a bunch of $$. I curled my lashes before applying and it seemed to instantly un-curl them. It thickened okay, but my lashes look dry and flaky. It didn't do anything for the length. I had to apply it for nearly 10 minutes to get my lashes to look decent before leaving the house and I really don't have time for that. I ordered a tube of my old standby, Clinique High Definition, today. I guess I will live with this stuff until my Sephora order arrives. The Make It Big tube is huge though, so if it works for you, it's a pretty good value....
This is probably my favorite mascara of all time. I've tried several others in search of my HG mascara, but always end up going back to High Definition. Maybe this is my HG! I love love love the brush/comb wand! My lashes are fiercely long, but not so thick and this stuff literally makes my lashes touch my brow bone. The brush side makes my lashes look really good, but the comb makes them WOW! It plumps the lashes without clumping and doesn't flake or smudge. It takes a little getting used to, but I find that if you start the comb in the middle of your lashes and pull it through before starting from the bottom, you will not get any clumps or smudges on your eyelid.
Mascara -Lancome - Oscillation Vibrating Infinite Mascara
harmonyjensen 4/1/2009 9:00:00 PM
I visited my local Macy's in an attempt to try the Lancome Fatale mascara after reading some promising reviews on it. For some weird reason they didn't carry it and the sales ladies talked me into trying this. I didn't really like it all that much, which sucks because it was so expensive. I have really long lashes anyway, but they are not very thick. This stuff made them look even thinner, like long twigs. The formula was nice and shiny, but did not add any volume. Also, I would curl my lashes before applying and the Oscillation seemed to un-curl the lash. By the end of the day, they were sticking straight out. I definitely would not purchase again. I ended up using it for a week and gave it to my best friend to try.
