Love this shade! It's a gorgeous teal green shimmer- lighter than CND's Jaded but not a pastel shade either. I'm always impressed with China Glaze's quality!

Hmmmm....I am on the fence about this one. it has a golden beige base shade (think 2 creams in your coffee brown), with a pronounced peachy shimmer. i think i might love this in the fall, it just seems to be made for falling leaves and pumpkin scents. not one of my favorite shades right now in the middle of summer, but if i broke the bottle i'd probably get a new one.

Polishes -Creative Nail Design - Bewitched

This has to be one of my all-time favorite CND polishes. The base shade is a burgundy/plum, with a deep violet flash that is much more pronounced in the bottle than on. in some lighting it appears black, in others deep plum...and in some that violet flash you see in the bottle seems to light it from within. LOVE! the application is fairly streaky, but evens out by the third coat. typical flexible CND finish- rarely chips but doesn't get rock hard as similar salon brands do.

Reggae is a shimmery Granny Smith apple green...very pretty! opaque after 2-3 coats. This one is fairly HTF but worth the hunt, IMO :)

OH. Wow. This shade is GORGEOUS! switches from coral/peach to coral/pink in different lighting..and just seems to glow on my nails. The shade is very similar to OPI Strawberried in The Sand, but more opaque and without the pink flash. the shimmer also has a subtle sparkle that's not evident in SITS. true love for me :)

Conditioner -Regis - Design Line Olive Oil Conditioner
rated 2 of 5

I just reviewed the shampoo, but i have been using these in conjunction with each other so i'm really reviewing the set. This stuff is amazing! i wish i had taken before and after pics. i've only used this for a week, but even the usually oblivious DH was impressed with how shiny and healthy my hair looks now. i was adding tons of 'cones to my ends to try to control the frizz..now i barely have to fuss with it. the conditioner itself somehow manages to impart heavy duty moisture without weighing it down. the scent is light and floral, very pleasant. i'll update my review after a month :) ***UPDATE*** for some reason after using this for a month it made my head itch and i started getting dandruff and (i know this is gross) PIMPLES on my scalp. i stopped using it and that all dissappeared. it's a bummer because it made my hair look gorgeous. i'm back on the hunt for my HG. *sigh*

Ok..i know i have only used this for a week, but i just have to RAVE about it! i am using it in conjunction with the conditioner, and i have NEVER had a product do so much good to my hair in such a short time. I have bra-strap length fine but full slightly wavy hair, that i color red once a month. I have tried every drugstore option available, and several salon brands looking for something that would help me keep my color but also keep my hair moisturized. When i tried this for the first time i was ready to cut several inches of snaggled, frizzy, dry ends off. not now. after the first use my hair is shiny, and the frizz was nearly gone, but my hair isn't weighted down at all. *kisses bottles* The shampoo itself doesn't suds up quite as much as some other shampoos, but cleans just as well while being gentle. the scent is light and pretty..my fears of olive scented hair were unfounded. i will update my review after a month :)***EDIT***for some reason after using this for a month it made my head itch and i started getting dandruff and (i know this is gross) PIMPLES on my scalp. i stopped using it and that all dissappeared. it's a bummer because it made my hair look gorgeous. i'm back on the hunt for my HG. *sigh*

Polishes -OPI - Melon of Troy
rated 5 of 5
gigglemommy 7/3/2006 11:22:00 AM

as already stated, this is a pretty frosted melon. i like the shade on it's own, but my favorite thing about it is it's layering possibilities! it looks terrific under glitters, holos, sheer opalescent colors. perfect base if you have a peach that's too sheer. layering possibilities i love- OPI Fireflies Goldie Gelee Out The Door Northern Lights Gold Holographic Topcoat Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Blush Diamond

Polishes -OPI - Black Tie Optional

Gorgeous! dark blackened purple shimmer, with a slight 'oil slick' color effect. When i first put it on i was slightly dissappointed..it only looked black. when i got it in a patch of sunlight though...WOW! Highly recommend it. The quality of OPI polish is great as usual. This is a DC'ed shade, but not impossible to find :)

Interesting shade, but very HTF. Application and wear are terrific, as can be expected with an OPI. The shade is a cool mid toned frosty brown, with an interesting green sparkle. it's not over the top green at all.it will be an excellent fall shade. i wish i could find an e/s in this exact color. i would say this would better suit cool tones, but is interesting enough that my warm toned self will be keeping it :)

Lip Gloss -MAC - Saphoric Lip Gelee
rated 5 of 5
gigglemommy 5/23/2006 8:16:00 PM

This is my first Gelee, i'm thoroughly in love with it! The texture is more slippery than Lipglass, but it doesn't have quite the staying power. no bigee for me, that's what my purse has pockets for. The flavor is mild vanilla, not overpowering at all. The shade..omg this will be my first backup l/g ever. In the tube it appears straight copper sparkle, but when applied it's sheer warm red with a micro copper sparkle! i seriously love this combo with my red hair. most copper l/g and l/s are way too metallic for my tastes, but this is subtle but sparkly and gorgeous. HG!

Polishes -China Glaze - Ooh La La Soft Pink Pearl

This is such a gorgeous shade! sheer shimmery pink with a gold shimmer...there is also somehow peach flashing in this as well. i agree that it looks ALOT like MAC's nymphette. The polish applies well and wears beautifully, just as you'd expect from ChG. if i ever see another of these sitting on a shelf, i'll GRAB that sucker for a backup bottle. love!

Polishes -FingerPaints - Museum of Modern Mauve
rated 4 of 5
gigglemommy 4/26/2006 12:37:00 PM

i agree with Elankat's color description on this shade. it's a midtone warm rose with a gold/copper shimmer. It's a very pretty shade. i didn't have any trouble with wear, but i'm only giving it 4 lippies because the shade itself isn't a total HG for me. I like it, i'm glad i have it, but i just don't reach for it often. I guess i should say it's an absolutely lovely shade but not unusual enough to grab my heart.

ooh this is the sexiest shade! vampy red with a hypnotic sparkly. i would say this could be worn by warm or cool tones, but it does lean more toward brick than wine IMO. unique and gorgeous! LE shade, so if you see one of these GRAB IT!
