Love it. Three great shades to mix together depending on my mood. I love the artsy package too. Too bad these are LE. I think I'm going to buy up some more this week while they're BOGO. These are awesome. The sheen is great, and the colors fit together perfectly.
Way too strong. Doesn't smell feminine, smells kind of masculine. Just not pretty. I don't know how else to describe it. I got it as GWP, but would never buy it.
Mascara -Lancome - Courbe Virtuose (Divine Lasting Curves)
erinfashionista 7/31/2008 9:27:00 PM
Got this as GWP. I love Definicils, but this is a little dry. I made the mistake of adding more than one coat, and I'm usually pretty confident that my mascara won't flake, so I didn't check my face until I got home after work...What an embarrassment! It was flaked all over the place. And I just don't care for the way it makes my lashes look compared to Definicils. I wouldn't buy it, but I might use the sample up. And I definitely won't apply two coats of this again!
I really do think this helps my skin. My dermatologist told me that she recommended glycolic acid for acne, and I use this in conjunction with the glycolic acid pads. In order to prevent excessively dry skin, I wait a few minutes (10-20) before I apply this. If I don't wait, I notice the irritation the next day. The main gripe I have about this is the fact that I can't put it under makeup. It seems when I do that, the product turns into little balls and comes off. It might be the mixture with my moisturizer and my makeup, but I don't have any problems with those two products together, and when I don't use moisturizer with the acnostat lotion, I still get the balls! But my skin feels better after using this, and I like the fact that it's anti-aging too. But the regular price of this stuff is just ridiculous! Try to get it on sale. And if you use Retin-A or Tazorac, this will sting like crazy. I've recently stopped using Retin-A and needed a mild exfoliant, and this is excellent. But when I used this with my sensitive, Retin-A torched skin, it burns like a...well, let's just say it burns a lot!
I bought the Pink Vanity shade at TJ Maxx. I thought the tube was pretty and I like the JT Touched By Light GWP I got earlier this year. While I do like this, but I think the fragrance could be alot better. I am into sweeter scents. It smells kinda overly floral, but I can't quite describe the smell. The tube that I got also seems a bit sticky on its own. I have to mix it with something else in order to cut down on the stickiness a little bit. But being that I got this at TJ Maxx, the tube might not be a representation of the way all tubes are--maybe it's been sitting around awhile somewhere and that affected the consistency! But I still love how glossy this makes my lips, and I would buy something in the line again, maybe just not in this shade.
Conditioner -Sexy Hair Concepts - healthy sexy hair soy milk conditioner

I really like this conditioner. It doesn't weigh my hair down, and it makes my hair soft and shiny. The scent is nice, but it would be even nicer if they made a matching chocolate version for the shampoo. I definitely love both of these products and would buy them again and again. One lippie off for the fact that the scent is OK, but could be better.
Shampoo -Sexy Hair Concepts - healthy sexy hair soy milk shampoo

An absolute godsend! I too hesitated to buy this at first because it's very expensive. But then I kept going back to the salon and smelling this shampoo every time, debating and debating, and then I finally gave in. I love the chocolate scent, it's amazing! And the fact that it's free of sulfates means that it doesn't strip the color out of my hair at all. My scalp is very sensitive and the sulfates in the other shampoos were causing it to break out all the time, but now it's doing much better because of this shampoo. This is a definite HG product for me. I wish they would do a whole soymilk sulfate-free line! This is really worth the money, so don't hesitate trying it. Oh, and it foams up pretty nicely despite the lack of the SLS. Love it!
I love the bottle shape and the unique sprayer. That being said, the product inside is pretty nice too. Every time I use this, my hair feels incredibly soft. It has a nice fragrance and detangles well too. It's a little on the expensive side, but you don't need a lot, so it does last a long time. It probably averages out to about a dollar a month the way I use it. Definitely would recommend.
I took a whiff of this and thought, "Whoa, that's sweet." A little bit too much so. There is absolutely nothing special about it. I thought considering that Paris is tied to this perfume that it would be a bit more high-end smelling? Like complex, or something, maybe deep, just like Paris. Ahem. But it's just an over-the-top sugary scent. Generic, ordinary, and boring! *yawn*
I bought this without smelling it first because the box was glittery and pretty. Bad, I know. But I figured that Escada couldn't create something that smelled too horrible, so I gave it a shot. The first day I wore this, people kept telling me that I smelled good. I wear perfume almost every day, but this is one that people really noticed. It isn't sweet, so it's different than the type of perfumes that I usually wear, and it's a bit unisex. The more I wear it, the more I like it. It's not too strong, either. It's just a refreshing scent, but like other reviewers have said, there's nothing particularly unique about it. But I'd definitely repurchase.
I haven't found another product for my eyebrows that I ever liked as much as this one. I was using Maybelline Define-a-Brow, and that was OK, but I wasn't going to buy it again. So I figured I'd try this. The color is a great match, and it glides on smoothly. The gel sets everything into place. I'm glad they made a duo like this because it's so crazy to spend more money on two separate items for your brows. I would definitely buy this again. I have the eyebrows I've always wanted to have with this product. Thank you Revlon!
I got this GWP and love it. The smell is awesome, and it makes my lips super sparkly. I wouldn't pay full price for this though, because the JTs are way too expensive, but luckily I only use a little of this at a time. No other glitter gloss is like it. If you want real sparkle that lasts try this out.
Let me start off by saying that I think the price of this razor is absolutely ridiculous, but the replacements blades prices are even more ridiculous. But the reason why they know they can get that price is because this razor is amazing. I remember back in the 90s I used to nick myself all the time with different brands, even with my ultra-feminine Schick. Well, after I tried this for the first time I knew I wouldn't buy another razor ever again, because this razor is so perfect. I absolutely love it. I never cut myself (unless I'm really sloppy and press too hard around my knees--but you really have to try to cut yourself) and my legs stay smooth for days!!! It's definitely the best.
OK, so my skin had been breaking out for awhile, so I tried this makeup thinking that at least it wouldn't make me break out, so I wouldn't have to do any sleuthing anymore with foundations. I also thought for the price ($26) from QVC, that it had to be good quality. Er, no. It burns my skin every time I put it on, it does NOT blend well at all, and the coverage is so beyond poor. The sponge pad applicator can't be hygienic day after day either, I don't think...I blend and blend and blend with this until I feel like I'm going to lose my mind, and I still have streaks. I took a picture of myself the other day with it on, and I looked horrible, because the coverage is so bad and my face gets so irritated when I put it on. I hate it. I returned it. I'm getting my money back.
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Caramel Latte
erinfashionista 5/25/2008 10:39:00 PM
Love it. Smells just like a caramel latte. The only problem is, when I put this on, I'm in the mood for a latte! I need something to drink! Total love.
