This lotion is not too bad, but I wasn't in love either. So here is the donw-lo : PRO - the smell is ok, not too vanilla -ish, or too sweet. not strong either, different from your usual vanilla lotion b/c it contains kiwi and some other things -- it absorbs fast into the skin, I use the 100ml bottle as a hand lotion in my purse, b/c I find that other hand lotions can be too greasy. -- moisturizes pretty well CON - the smell did take some adjusting to, at first I did not like it, smelled to plasticky, but then it grew on me. Once you rub it in it seems to smell better Overall, I would buy it again it it was on sale or gwp, just to use as a hand lotion, it would not become my main lotion.
This blush was pretty good, nice color - I felt it was more a bronzer than an actual blush. It has a shimmery bronze color too it, but no pink or mauve or anything else you'd expect in a regular blush. It is great for a day when you want to go with simple natural make-up, it will add a bit of shimmer, but not that much color. I wore it in addition to a bronzer and a blush. I felt it added a little bit of extra shimmer in my face. Although I like it, I wouldn't buy it again because I have enough bronzers and enough blushes, I don't need and "in between" product. It seemed a little pointless to me, however I used almoust all of it. Pro - can easily double as a natural bronze eyeshadow. - the packaging tries to be eco friendly
I was no surprised when I saw on the review that no one would buy this again. I'm a big Nivea fun, anything from lotions, to skin care to lip stuff, but this product did not do it for me. It is a great idea, it is not waxy, and the stuff does melt on your lips like they say, but you still need to blend it and it leaves a weird residue/film on your lips, different from other lipbalms. It is also rather grainy/sandy - really weird. And the taste is not great at all. I would definetly no buy this again, even though it is daily cheap. I was kinda glad when I finished the pot. I will say this though, it did help my lips, but there are soo many other items out there.
Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lypsyl - Regular Lip Balm

I love this lip balm. I bought it in the stick form the first time because it was on sale. I used it all the time. It did wonders for my lips. And then I bought it in the pot form, which works great too. I usually never buy the same lip stuff twice, because there are soo many products out there to discover, but this I did buy twice. It is a little pricey for a drug store brand (at least in Canada) but I did find it on sale and it was a little better. I like that it has no smell or taste per say, kinda neutral, to me at least. It is not too oily or messy either. I also love the pot and the little bee on the stick form.
This primer was nothing exceptional for me. I did not like the smell and it is definely a bit pricey (like most things from Fresh are). It felt more like a lotion than a primer to me. It smoothed out my skin, but other than that I did not notice much. I think there are definetly better primers out there. However, I did not completly it hate. I woouldn't buy again, too expensive.
I love this fragrance. My mom got it for me as a gift and I used it pretty quickly. It is a bit more sweet and fruity than the original, but I think that is what made me like it more. The sweetness does subside after a little bit. It also had a more "special scent" than the original, it stood out more, left an impression more. I loved smelling myself when I put it on. The bad thing - it doesn't last as long as others, but then again it is fairly cheap. I would definetly buy again though.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Dream Angels Heavenly

I can totally see why this is VS most popular perfume. I was in love with it for soo many years, even when I was a teenager. My mom used to buy in any shape and form ( mist, et,edt) when she went to the states because she knew I would always use it up. I still really like it, but use it less b/c I have soo many other fragrances. The only semi-bad thing I have to say about this is that it doesn't have the staying power of other fragrances. It is not too sweet or floral, a little musky, and as another person mentioned a kind of warm woman scent. I will definetly keep using this, although not as my main fragrance. I even got the Heavenly kiss, which I LOVED!
I tried a sample of this a long time ago, and I really liked it, but I never bought because I thought it wasn't me. Well I bought it this past Christmas and I love it. I wear every couple of days or so, w/ or w/o the lotion. It is pretty strong and it smells very sultry, seductive and sexy (I usually used girly/flowery/fruity) scents. This is definetly a more "serious" fragrance than what I was used it before. It great as nightime fragrance, very memorable, but I also used it during the day. This fragrance makes me feel confident, strong and in charge, it gives me power, I don't know how lol. I love the bottle, very nice shape and color. My boyfriend loves the smell too. I say give it a try, ask for a sample, you got nothing to lose.
Lotions/ Creams -Paco Rabanne - Black XS Sensual Body Lotion for Her
ems001 2/2/2010 1:46:00 AM
Let me just begin by saying that everytime I wear this lotion my bf tells me that my skin is really soft (even in the middle of winter). It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It is a bit sweeter than the perfume, but I like it. It is a very indulgent cream for the body. I use it as a once in awhile treat when I get out of the shower. It just makes it that more special. I've tried other HE fragrance lotion, but I didn't feel they were that great, this one definelty blew me away from the first time I used it. I would definetly buy it again, with the perfume as well.
I bought this fragrance on sale from Sephora and I really like it. The bottle is pretty cool, the shape and the way the color fades. The smell is nice, nothing special, fairly light, but still noticeable. It is not a very exiciting perfume, but I was asked what I was wearing by a research assisstant at a hospital, because she liked it. At first I liked it, but then a while I didn't really like anymore, and after a little while longer, it started to grow on me. Lol, I think I was confused. Now I used it a couple times a week during the day and I really like it. This perfume might not wow you, but I find that it's a pretty scent.
I love all BE products, especially the Mineral Veil, I've had the regular and the Featherlight and I used them everyday. They make your face look soo nice, like all natural make-up, but really pretty. I always swap for these, because I know I'll use them up.
Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Soft Coeur Massage Bar (The Honeymooner)
ems001 2/1/2010 11:45:00 PM
I was so excited to use my first massage bar from LUSH, I used the soaps, shower gels, bath bombs/melts/bubble bars and I was really looking forrward to my first massage bar. Overall I liked it but: 1) It is really small for $7.95 (30g). Me and my boyfriend used about 80% of it at once. We weren't being stingy with it because it was a special treat, but you can't get more than 4-5 uses if you are covering your whole body well. 2) the chocolate inside is a mess (and there's lots of it), it does not absorb into the skin even after lots of rubbing and if you lie down or get dressed it will be on that piece of material. Although I did like the scent - kinda gourmet, foody ish, I smelled the chocolate part, but not the honey. As a special treat it is ok, but too pricey/small for everyday use.I think I'll try the other ones before I buy this massage bar again, although I did like it. Probably shouldn't be saying this here, but it did get my boyfriend in the mood though (as LUSH claims it might do, on their site)
I bought this showergel from Lush, the read the reviews before I used it, so I knew what I was getting myself into. Overall, I really liked this shower gel. I loved the smell, kinda like candy and sugar and fruity ness. But I can also see why it is not for everyone. At first the smell is a bit strong, but not soo much after a little while. It lathered nice and left my skin pretty soft (my skin is usually very dry after any shower gel). I only used it twice, but none of the sparkles came out of the bottle. The best thing about this shower gel is that (at least for me) it was a great pick me up, I used it after a long day of work and skating and other things and it left me exhilerated. It was a better pick me up than the bath bombs or bath melt. I wish Lush made a shampoo and conditioner that smelled like this. I agree with other reviewers, it does have a teeny boppers/ cutesy smell to it, so if you hate those kind of smells, you won't like this. I think the smell might be too much if I use it everyday, but once in awhile it is great !!!
Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dr Feelgood
ems001 1/29/2010 5:37:00 PM
I'm torn about this product. When the SA tried it on me as a primer, I really liked how my skin felt and the smell of it, and when I bought it I also liked it, but after awhile it didn't seem to like it anymore. I'm not sure how long I had it, I'm pretty sure not that long; but it became hard to blend on my face. It lost its "blend-ability" after awhile, it changed and it didn't go on as smoothly. Also the tin can, although a great idea, it was hard to open sometimes, so I had a back-up primer. I don't think this is a great primer, there a better ones out there. It dos smooth our your face a little bit Pro - I like that it contains A C E vitamins, even though I don't know so much. And it does last you awhile, but as I mentioned it doesn't work that great after awhile.
Eye Shadow -Stila - Baked Eyeshadow Trio - Gold Glow
ems001 1/28/2010 12:54:00 AM
This is a great eyeshadow, a LOT of product, I've used it a couple times and you can't even tell at all. I like the colors, they work well togheter. If you use all three, it is a little much for everyday, but great for night. I like to use the Ivory under my eyebrows and in the corner of my eyes for that opening of the eye effect. The gold is very nice for a special day when you want a little attention on your eyes. My only complain is that the eyeshadow came unglued from the bottom, just like the powder I bought from Stila. I think Stila needs better glue or something. I would have liked for the bronze color to be a bit light, but I still like it.
