I'm on a mission to try to find a mascara that stays put, doesn't flake or smear, looks natural, and doesn't irritate. Unfortunatley this one isn't it. It flakes off the lower lashes and ends up under my eyes giving me dark circles and accentuated wrinkles. This is the Pure Lash version in the navy tube. It's a shame because JI has some other very good products.
Lotions/ Creams -Paula's Choice - Slip Into Silk Body Lotion

I have to agree that this ia a good product. It moisturizes well and the feeling really lasts. It is full of antioxidants and moisturizing factors that are good for your skin. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or set off my allergies. The only reason I probably won't buy it again is the price. For the same $15.95 I can get a 950 ml bottle of Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion which has very similar texture and efficacy for me. (I use the Maximum dry skin formula)
Lip Treatments -Paula's Choice - Total Protection Lip Care SPF 15

I tried this after trying her Lip and Body Balm, because I prefer the conveniece of a tube. It works fine for a lip moisturizer and protectant, but I have to agree with the previous review that the packaging needs improvement. The cap splits and falls off easily and the tube seems to spontaneously push the content out - every time I would use it, I would retract the stick, but the next time I would reach for it, the stick was out up into the cap resulting in it breaking off into the cap.
Moisturizers -Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Moisture Gel

After my experience with the Hydrating Treatment (see reveiw) I was still looking for something to use. This is a light product the feels good, but BE CAREFUL around your eyes. It migrates into them and STINGS! I especially wanted it as an extra moisturizer for that area, but had to stop using it there. It's fine on the rest of my skin, but I'm still loooking for a product for the skin around my eyes.
Well. acccording tto the cosmetician at the dermatologist' office, I am the type of person this was created for: Dry,sensitive skin that couldn't tolerate retinoids. I've been using it daily now for 3 months on my face, neck, upper chest and hands and can honestly say - I'm glad I didn't spend any money on it because I would be very upset. (I received two tubes of this for free and realy wanted it to work.) It is a reasonable moisturizer for normal to dry skin (but not for me in the winter)and did not rrtitate my skin at all, but there really is no change in the fine lines in any of the areas where I tried it. I really don't think it is worth what they are charging for it.
Makeup Brushes -Paula's Choice - Pro Basics Brush Set

Ok, I was curious if more expensive brushes were really better. I was happy with the ones I've been using. I just got a set of these on Ebay for a pretty good price. WOW, I'm impressed. The bristles are soft and don't shed. The case is sturdy and should hold up (unlike my previous one). The only thing I'm not as impressed with is the length of the handles- they seem pretty long compared with others I've seen. This, however, hasn't really affected make up application at all. I just wish it came with a lash/brow brush and a concealer brush. I guess I have to keep shopping!
Skincare - Body -Paula's Choice - Silk Mist Dry Oil Spray

This is an interesting product, especially for those with dry skin. It feels good and absorbs readily, and has lots of good hydrating ingredients. It reminds me of the Antioxidant Concentrate. I don't like the packaging, however, and have found the spray top unwieldy- as you try spray it on your body, your hands get slick making it hard to keep control of the sprayer and bottle. I've found it much easier (and less messy) to just spray it on to one hand and then apply it to other parts. I think a lid that controls the flow might be more useful. I'm not sure I'd buy it again; I'm just as happy with Neutrogena's Sesame Body Oil which is easier to use and less expensive.
I have permanently chapped lips. I t doesn't matter what time of year it is! I bought this product with the Lip & Body Balm to try. This product was returned. Every time I tried it my lips were very sore afterwards - I didn't rub hard. It also didn't do much for the dry patches on my heels and ankles.
Moisturizers -Paula's Choice - Hydrating Treatment Cream

I really wanted this product to work. I have very dry skin and the Antioxidant Concentrate just isn't enough moisture in the winter. I tried it for a month and noticed increased irriataion around my eyes - at first I thougth it was just my usual chapped skin burning but when I stopped this product it stopped. So I went back to Eucerin for a month and then tried it again. Unfortunately for me, it burned the skin around my eyes, stinging terribly.
Lotions/ Creams -Paula's Choice - Beautiful Body Butter

This product is different than I was expecting. It is very emollient, but not greasy, like many other very thick creams (I use Eucerin). It sinks in quickly leaving a smooth, not sticky, finish. I was surprised at how well it does work to smooth out the rough dry patches. I am very pleased at how well it works as an under eye treatment (I have VERY dry skin) because it does sink in and isn't greasy, so the make-up goes on very smooth and stays that way!
I bought the sponge for $4.00, so it can be more reasonable - although it isn't inexpensive. I use it for blending the Circle/Delete concealer. The concealer has a tendency to crease if it isn't blended slightly. The flocked sponge works much better than fingers, tissues or regular cosmetic sponges.
I really wanted to like this product. I have very dry skin and occasionally have eczema breakouts. The hand cream is very emollient and feels nice, but I couldn't deal with the very stong fragrance. It set off my allergies. If you aren't sensitive to fragrance this probably is a very good product.
I have very dry sensitive skin and was looking forward to this product until I opened the tube. The scent is too strong and set off my allergies! The cream feels quite nice and seems to last. I, however, had to use it as a foot cream to use it up and protect my nose. I tried but could not find an unscented version.
This product is the closest answer to my prayers, so far. I have sensitive skin, allerigies, wear contacts, and worst of all my long eyelashes are blond! Trying to find a product that doesn't make my eyes itch and burn AND doesn't give me raccoon eyes has been very frustrating. In fact, I gave up wearing anything for several years and even had my lashes dyed for a special occasion. This mascara does NOT irritate and absolutely does NOT smudge even after wearing overnight.(I sometimes work 24 hrs) Of course it's not perfect: it goes on wet and takes a minute or so to dry; the brush and package are just ok; and it is extremely expensive. I can overlook these issues because now I can have visible eyelashes again!
