Eye Primer -BeneFit Cosmetics - F.Y. Eye [DISCONTINUED]

This is an excellent product that keeps my eye shadow in place all day. I wish the color were a little less pink and more neutral, but other than that this gives good results. Tip: You have to let it set for a couple of minutes before applying your makeup to get maximal results.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dr Feelgood

I don't know why BeneFit advertises this as a de-shine product for people with oily skin, it's full of oils which couldn't possibly make any one's complexion matte. Oil on top of oil does NOT equal less oil, hello?! That said, I personally like to use it sometimes in the winter instead of foundation when my skin is looking good. It does seem to smooth out my dry, combination complexion however, I can't exactly explain it.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - Gilded [DISCONTINUED]

This is one of my favorite pencils for glamming up a smoky eye. It applies smoothly and evenly and doesn't tug or pull. Plus it's very light and sheer and isn't too metallic or lame looking, which I usually dislike about gold colored products. It's a little on the expensive side, but I didn't care because I love BeneFit and I love the packaging.

I really like this pencil and use it often as a highlighter around the inner corners of my eyes and on my browbone to lighten a smoky eye look. I know there are other products out there that produce the same results, but this works just as well and I love the cute packaging.

Eyeliner -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal

This is a basic black eyeliner that doesn't have better staying power than any other liners I've tried. Plus it's so expensive! At $18 I could buy 4 Revlon Wet/Dry eyeliners which in my opinion are the best eyeliners on the market. Bad Gal works great for producing a smoky eye look though, plus it looks so fun and cool in my MU bag!

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner (All Shades)

These don't crease on me at all, especially when I use a good eye shadow base like F.Y. Eye or Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Of course, as usual, BeneFit discontinued some of the most useable, wearable colors from this line like Vixen and Traffic School and kept some of the wierder, more difficult colors and didn't introduce any new colors except Charm School which is a ridiculous bright Barbie pink color. Sigh! Thank goodness they didn't discontinue Naughty Feather, which is a gorgeous color that looks awesome with MAC's Chocolate Brown pigment.

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Show Offs (all shades) [DISCONTINUED]

I really, really like these and have almost all of them. In my opinion they wear just as well as MAC pigments and the colors are all gorgeous although they are all shimmery. I wish they had a whole line of these with matte colors as well. Here's my gripes on these though, the old-style packaging is a bit silly with all that powder in those tiny tubes which makes it easy for it to spill out at first, and then when you use more you have to get a tiny brush to stick down into the pot or pour some out into your hand. The new packaging isn't much better with a screw-off top that's hard to get off. At least the newer packaging has half as much product which reduces spillage!! And with former colors simply renamed...what, did they think we wouldn't notice?! I'm seriously thinking about writing to BeneFit and complaining about this. Don't be duped, swap for the old-style packaging if you can, you get way more for your money!

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dear John

If all BeneFit eye shadows are as pretty as this one, I want them all! This is a gorgeous peachy pink color that brightens my eyes and looks awesome paired with my Dandelion powder and a nude lipstick. It doesn't have much shimmer either, so it's great for a daytime look. I guess the downside is it's not very pigmented, but I don't mind because it wears well on me and doesn't crease quickly.

Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benefit Eye Jewel in Gimme' an Outside Vine
rated 4 of 5

The bottle is sooo cute and I love the color. I've been using it with my Bad Girl pencil to get a smoky, sexy eye. It's a gorgeous shimmery nude pink that dries to a soft powder. It didn't crease on me either, which made me like it even more. The packaging is a bit difficult to use however, you really can't apply it using that silly little nail-polish like brush, so I had to blend using my sponge-tip brush. The other turn-off is that it does separate, but over all I'm pretty impressed with this!

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Lemon Aid

I don't know why on earth I bothered to buy this, I swapped it away immediately. In my opinion this is a completely useless, pointless product. The color is a strange sheer yellow, that makes me look like I have jaundice instead of "fresh & lively" as the BeneFit website claims. As a makeup base it's ridiculous as well because it changes the way my eye shadows look on me and creases on my oily lids. A total waste of money unfortunately.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Boi-ing
rated 3 of 5
dnc340 4/7/2005 8:38:00 PM

This concealer works very well for me, especially during the summer months when I need a heavy duty concealer to cover those 'morning-after' circles. I also like it because the color #2 goes perfectly with my skin tone. Unfortunately I can't use it on blemishes because it looks pasty and flaky on the rest of my face. It's also kind of thick and difficult to apply, so I have to 'work' the top before applying and use a concealer brush. Last word, if you're looking for a gentle, every day concealer to hide a multiple of sins, this one isn't for you.

Bronzers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Flamingo Fancy [DISCONTINUED]
rated 2 of 5

I like BeneFit, but this is not one of their products I use often. It's a pretty, sheer bronzing cream for face and body, but I only use it for my face. And even when you mix it with a white body lotion, it tends to stain clothing, so you have to watch what you wear if you decide to put this on your body. And wearing it to the beach is NOT a good idea either, it tends to streak when it gets wet. I prefer my Jergens shimmer lotion!

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Jewels of the Amazon [DISCONTINUED]

dnc340 4/7/2005 7:55:00 PM

Of course I got all of these because I love BeneFit, but overall I was a bit disapointed. The colors are gorgeous, especially when applied very sparingly, but they're all a bit too shimmery and tend to separate easily, so you have to make sure you shake the bottle before applying. Also, the packaging is soooo cute but please don't ask me why they waste their time including a nail-polish like brush on the other end of the lid...it's completely pointless! I apply these with my fingers or a MU sponge and get a much better result. Overall, I'd say go ahead and purchase these if you're a true MU collector or if you love lots of shimmer, otherwise save your money.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dandelion
rated 4 of 5
dnc340 4/7/2005 7:46:00 PM

This has to be one of my favorite highlighters ever. The color is a gorgeous pale pink with just a hint of shimmer and looks amazing on my fair, neutral toned skin. Plus, the scent is light and fresh and gives you a pleasant 'pick-me-up' feeling during application. Unfortunately the packaging is not conducive to being toted around in a MU bag, and the brush is too small and flat to be much use. Other than those two complaints, this product gets top raves from me!

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Georgia ] ] [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
dnc340 4/7/2005 7:28:00 PM

I first bought this because of the gorgeous packaging and because I love to collect BeneFit, not really because of the color, but I'm so glad I did! It's a gorgeous true peach with just a hint of scent and shimmer. It's not a blush, it's an allover highlighter and gives my face a soft, warm glow. Unfortunately the brush is too small and flat to be of any real use and the packaging is NOT conducive to being toted around in a makeup bag. So if you're a girl on the go looking for a good buy, save your money for a more portable (and less expensive!) product. For everyone else, I'd definitely recommend!
