Polishes -OPI - Big Apple Red
rated 4 of 5

Like the other reviewers said this is a true red. There's no pink/orange/coral undertones. To put it into "The Waitress" quote, "This is the way red was always supposed to be but never knew how. I have no bad things to say about this polish. The formula is good, no streaking and there was tip wear on the 3rd day and chipping on the 4rth. Overall I love this polish and I'm totally going to buy it again :)

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub

I quite like this scrub, it's not moisterising at all it's actually on the drying side. It's actually been better at reducing redness than reducing acne. I will buy this product again. It's probably my favorite drugstore scrub.

Lip Treatments -Chapstick - Cherry

I don't love the waxy feeling on my lips, but I do like the smell and the subtle colour. It's pretty good for spring/summer but I'll stick to my Burt's Bee's in the fall/winter :)

Treatments -E.L.F. - Nail Polish Remover Pads
rated 3 of 5
curlygirl03 6/4/2011 12:37:00 AM

They were average, I would have probably had the same results from a cotton pad and acetone remover. But for a 1$ us they'll do just fine, I'll be re-purchasing if only for the price.

Good for the price, generally no streaking and the brush is pretty fontionable. I stick by Sinful, they rarely chip and such good quality! The colour selection is really diverse as well! The only downside is that they aren't sold in Canada :(

Generally good formula, great selection of colours, inexpensive, nice bottles, easy to use brushes, what's not to like? And they're B3F which is always a plus :) Will definitly keep buying my china glazes :)

Polishes -China Glaze - Refresh-Mint
rated 4 of 5
curlygirl03 6/4/2011 12:19:00 AM

I love this colour so much! It went on well with two fairly even coats and minimal streaking. It's fantastic for summer, and the colour pops really well with tan skin :) I will definitly be buying this again, it's good quality, and it might be a simple cream but it's just gorgeous. I recomend it to anyone looking for something a bit differant.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear- Sun Kissed 06
rated 3 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 6:58:00 PM

The colour is nice, and I like the bottle as well. The formula however was not great. The polish is thin and requires several coats, and is pretty streaky. It's ok for the price of 3.00$ canadian but I wont be buying it again.

Polishes -China Glaze - Peachy Keen
rated 3 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 5:39:00 PM

It went on nicely, only two coats, it was super shiny and a really nice creame but I do not like the colour with my skin tone. The actual colour is nice (It's hard to go wrong with china glaze) but it just didn't do anything for me and sort of blended in a little to much with my skin.

Polishes -China Glaze - lemon fizz
rated 4 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 5:29:00 PM

This is another nice colour from China Glaze. It really compliments my skin tone, yellow usually makes me look washed out but this was only on my nails and it still looked good. It went on smoothly (two coats) and it started to chip on the 3rd day. Overall a good buy :)

Styling Products -Clairol - Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Scrunching Gel
rated 4 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 5:05:00 PM

This is a good inexpensive drugstore gel. It gave me defined curls, and I got pretty good second and (sort of frizzy) third day hair. There wasn't great frizz control, and there was a water soluable silicone which I had trouble removing from my hair. It was a bit crunchy but I scrunched it out. I will be re-purchaseing thing gel again, it's pretty good for summer and it smelled nice :)

Styling Products -Aveda - Be Curly Curl Enhancer
rated 3 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 3:46:00 PM

I used this product before I went curly girl, but I can't use it anymore because it cotaines Trimenthicone which is a heavy 'cone. The product gave my curls, a bit of a waxy/oily feeling which I didn't love. My curls were defined, and ringlety (is that a word?) and elongated which I like! There was also little to no frizz. The only reason I won't be using this again is because I dont use silicone hair products anymore.

Who hasn't used a Bonnie Bell lip smacker? Especially in Dr. Pepper :) It's nice, lightly moistering, tastes nice, and smells really good.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System
rated 2 of 5
curlygirl03 6/2/2011 3:17:00 PM

My mom bought Pro-Active for me as a tv offer so the price wasn't a big deal. I've used it 3 seperate times for a couple of monthes each. While my skin is pretty acne prone it's also usually quite dry. Each time, I used Pro-Active it did clear up my actual acne, like the whiteheads and blemishes but I do have alot of little icepick acne scars and the Pro-Active did nothing for those. While my pimples cleared up even using it once a day it dried up my skin horribly and then I my oil glands (Sebum? I think they're called) produced more oil, which gave me more pimples. It was a vicious cycle and I won't ever be using Pro-Active again.
