Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Nobile 1942 Castadiva

Nobile 1942 is well known, respected italian house that produces very concrete, firm and strong fragrances, and amongst them there are some I really adore and cherish.... Castadiva is: Topnote: Green Notes, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang Heartnote: Frangipani, Osmanthus, Jasmine, Neroli Basenote: Oakmoss, Ambergris, White Musk, Vanilla Immediately after dabbing a drop, two on my hand, there was a very prominent resemblance with AP Strip because I could get a smoky amber, osmanthus (tea like),musk and ylang-ylang...it smells very sexy, very alluring, yet manages to keep the soft side thanks to the osmanthus and jasmine part, which make the composition very light and kinda ''sotto voce''....if you like YSL's Nu, or AP Strip, or even Chanel's Cuir de Russie (which is somewhat more leathery and skankier but enormously alike), this is a good, good buy! it comes in fragranza suprema concentration, and its longievity is very good (6,7, hrs)....75 ml. is only about 100 euro, (about 115,120 $), but I really wouldn't mind to get my hands blessed by this great fume... fresh green, a bit smokey amber that breaths heavilly in the hot weather, but develops like a charm when the temperature settles below 10 celsius....

Fragrances -Bulgari - Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert
rated 5 of 5

notes: Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Cardamom, Jamaican Pepper, Coriander Middle notes: Bulgarian Rose, Spanish Jasmine Base notes: Green Tea, Oakmoss, Tonka Bean, Bee's Wax I've always been a big fan of Bvlgari's creations due to their clean, fresh and luxurious nature...smitten by Bvlgari pour Femme, entchanted by Rose Essentialle, consumed by Mon jasmin noir , surprised by the spicyness of au the Rouge, comfortable with Au the blanc, but most of the time delighted by the wonderful, clean and not at all ''another-gree tea'' scent called Au the vert.... I think this is the world's most safe perfume that suits all occasions, all ages, all people in the world...the thing is, all other brands tried very hard (Dior escales, YSL Saharienne, even beautiful Hermes Jardins collection,....) to get that fresh, light but spicy feeling of summer breezyness, without makin it banal (Arden green tea, no ma'am!),boring, lemony or simply too watery, trying to evoke that season.... this is far beyond and above banal....it has a atmosferic feel, it screams expensive and feminine, but it also has the most amazing combination of notes qouted above... i adore it and when I need a freshness boost without feeling bored after some time, or wrapped up in artificial lemons and whatnots.... highest grades, good sillage and no man should be without one if he cherishes the magic of simplistic and yet superb scent creations...

Fragrances -Frederic Malle - En Passant
rated 5 of 5
cocorocha 11/2/2012 8:57:00 AM

my o my....this is lilac christaline overload....magnificent spring-ey huuuge almost soliflore.... is reminds me of Diptyque's Ofresia...not that they're alike scentways, but thea both hve a gigantic floral, clear, moist quality....whereas Ofresia is all about white flowers, En Passant is a garden of lilacs...with a milky, creamy undertone (Paul&Joe-Blanc, very simmilar) oh, this is soooo wonderfull.....if I didn't know who did it I could swear this was made by JC Ellena... very heavy on sillage and drydown is just as same as the topnotes...it vaguely changes through time...worth having that's for sure...

Got it 3 times sold it 3 times bought it again today!!! it really is wonderfull...white,soft, sinthetic aldehyde gentle like a glass of warm milk, feminine, androgyne and ...hm, not sexy at all...this is a pure comfott scent, scent of luxury and houte couture...but unfortunately not sexy:)))) soft rose, juniper and vaguely there-amber in a cold winters night...it is soo damn hard to describe anything from the CdG line.... just try before you buy, believe me I know, tried it and bought it 3 times....I love it.. (p.s. great sillage and projection....)

got it in a sample....and never would've bought it just cause I liked it...cause I don't this is a Gloria Vanderbildt G.Vanderbildt spin off, bearing in mind Mrs.Vanderbildt created a masterpiece!! cheap vanderbildty/amarigey-like concoction of musk and some dark berries.. not toooo bad, but so,soooo boring and plain.. pass...

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Profumum Roma Patchouli
rated 5 of 5
cocorocha 10/20/2012 2:38:00 PM

with this one the answer to the last question should be-well, if I ever (meaning in this lifetime) ''use it to the pan'',then absolutely will I buy it again... 100 ml. is a very large quantity of liquid with this kind of potency, this amount of oil and this combination of notes... Coming very close to my all time favourite sweet patchouli (Chanel's Coromandel), this parfume is a rare oportunity to smell like a musty, damp, old, ancient wooden bookshelf somewhere around Blackmoore, Venice or some other ghostly place surrounded with mysterious historical and gothic allure... this patchouli is a ripe one, very earthy, but sweet like a piece of the most expensive dark chocolate there is...starts of with a pungent smell of patchouly followed by some sweet sandalwood, almost sleepy amber and some incense...cosy,warm, sexy, inviting but very, oh, so very mature portal to patchouli heaven... Put side to side with Reminiscence Patchouli (which is my second best patch), Reminiscence has a prominent amber note which is very strong, but also beautiful...but Roma is simply something out of this world as far as quality goes... seems to me the people of Profvmvm were so concentrated to make their scents so unique and amazing, that they simply forgot to make the bottle more practical(it often happens the nozzle stops because of the oil content,or it has some nasty residues on the part where you unscrew the spray ''thingy''....what's up with that... perfume that is so goddamn expensive just has to be perfect inside and out...(khm, just go ask Chanel to explain that one...) but nevertheless, ok, ok, it is always about the juice....khm....and this one is utterly perfect.... so this is my ''to.go'' list when I crave for some dirty,ol',wet, forresty, sweet patch: 1. Chanel Coromandel 2. Reminiscence- Patchouli P.Roma-.Patchouli Montale-P.Leaves Jalaine...... worth every damn penny!!

Fragrances -Montale - Sweet Oriental Dream
rated 4 of 5
cocorocha 10/18/2012 5:45:00 AM

this one is one of those scents that you know you going to find very interesting, hence, reading the reviews, most of them characterize this Montale as a sweet lokhoumy gourmand! Aham it is..BUT, this is not plain (yet beautiful) heliotrope powder, it is really much more than that... first thing worthy of remembering- do not test it from the bottle or from the blotter, because Montales tends to develop very individually....try it on your skin..it is a whole another experience... now, what I do like is a tobacco note, which reminds me of SL Fumerie Turque which I adore...it is the same kind of sweet, dry tobacco note,or cherry tobacco like all of the reviewers noticed...then there is a lokhoum part (it is simply - sugared honey with rose water) and some quiet presence of almonds... it is quite strong but give it some time to settle down on your skin, and pray to god that it doesn't get any sweeter... it is almost fascinating how thin this border of nausea and enjoinment is... But if we summon all the things included, this perfume is quite wearable, enjoyable, and most of people find it very alluring and friendly... it is not a simple gourmand, it is more on the tobbaco side, and I have to say, since this is my first dab and first impression, I'm not quite sure wheter I like it or not (or to rephrase it- if I'm going to wear it, and where should I wear it..) I've got a huge 30 ml. decant(me and my friends spilt it in 3 parts), and I hope that it will eventually fulfil my craving for sweet, honeyed rose that once in a while consumes my olphactory sistem:)) high rating because it is very comfortable, office friendly, feminine, not so expensive and kinda sophisticated once the top notes get quieter... 7/10 (for now........o-oh, I can feel the rose emerging from my hand...and it is magnificent!!).. EDIT: the day after- no, and no!still beautiful, stil sweet and definitely not for me...desolee.. EDIT2: FOR f.sake, it really is good...and I shouldn' t have given it away....daaaaarnnnn!!!!!;)))))))) EDIT 3: READ EDIT 2 ...plus- WARNING- exclusively fot COLD WEATHER, without exception!!!

Fragrances -L'Artisan Fragrances - Verte Violette
rated 5 of 5
cocorocha 9/26/2012 4:59:00 AM

what a gem THIS is! first of all it is the most natural and beautiful violet scent without being sweet od too powdery...it smells like a cream made of violet flowers.....to me it doesn't resemble any other violet based scent including VdParma or Meteorites.. it is a story for itself....watery,little bit powdery and gorgeously creamy violet with green sorta ''stemmy'' undertone... the most close to this is the original Dsquared's Shewood......it is that kind of moist, rosy violet... staying power....well, let's wait and see...I've just put it on my arm... all in all-the best (or at least one of the top 3) violet fragrance on the market!!

Skincare - Body -Earthen Treasures - Scents
rated 4 of 5
cocorocha 9/23/2012 7:42:00 AM

ok, here's the deal, these gorgeous people at ET know what they're doing....and I mean, they do... I bought bunchof their stuff and been more than pleased with it...the only con I see is the fact that they haven't updated their page (which looks pretty poor considering the quality of stuff they're making), and it is impossible to see which scents are in fact Designer duplicates.... the other thing-well,you really don't know whether you're gonna like the scent or not...if you choose designer dupe-it is almost certain that you'll be very pleased...now, I've had some blind orders and here's my review... 've Ibought 8 time 8 ml. body mists which are pretty strong, so try not to over do....I know american people crave for sweeter stuff and that is the main ''problem'' here...let's begin FATAMORGANA- a very strange but comfy smell of cereal, myrrh, musk (to me it smells like a spinoff of Sticky cake which I adore)-very long lasting, kinda oriental/fuity and dark....good STICKY CAKE- exact CdG Sticky cake dupe, amazing, strange and alluring smell of white Karbofix glue, industrial smell with some milky/ambery accords-love it SHEER SEDUCTION- sweet flowery concoction, smells like hibiscus and banana leaf- bad DRAGON'S BLOOD- wonderful oriental, sticky mixture of resinoids, Nag Champa, pure oriental heaven BOTRYTIS- a typical ambery perfume which smells divine on a man's skin... BLACK KASHMERE- smells exactly like D.Karan BC ROSE JELLY (Lush Rose jam dupe)- ok, this smells awfully sweet, like honeyed rose in alcohol...on me it turns very ruberry argh, not a perfume, but I guess lovers of sweets will enjoy it.. WHITE WITCH- one of the best ET scents...great milky, oriental, spicy mixture of resins....love SANDALWOOD ROSE- omg, this is gross,it is sandalwood and it is rose, but smells like bathroom freshener.... PATCHOULY RASPBERRY-same thing-awfuly combined raspberry with very weak patchouly-yuck I had Flowerbomb-amazing, great....Chinatown by Bond No 9-also amazing.....Alkmaar-omg, it is the same thing as Lush Alkmaar soap..... but what I absolutely appreciate and that's just one of the reasons to keep ordering from these amazing people is the fact taht they care....THEY CARE!!with every order you'll get a free fullsized product (I've got Prada Candy perfumed shea stick...great stuff), personaly written card of appreciation (thank you dear Barbara)...and some cute candies wrapped with sweet little butterfly flakes in the package..... If you ever consider ordering, you won't be dissappointed because thing is you'll probably love at least one thing that you receive, and if that happens, you'll cherish that stuff forever.... extremely long lasting, and extremely deterioration free....I've had some fluffy stuff for 7 years!!!as good as the day I received it!<3<3<3<3! EDIT: got my new order Dragon's blood edp and Tolu edp....the first one is even better than the body mist version, and Tolu....is pure balmy amber...veery weird and definitely not for me...

Like Youth Dew? which part?the opening?I doubt it! middle notes?hmmm, better.. I know- drydown!! Am I right? that amazing sandal/civet/patchouly/vanilla/powdery/expensive scent of ancient caramelized, warm, luxurious, resinous autumnal brew? you've got yourself - Reminiscence Patchouli! Youth Dew stripped to the very matter, without one pinch of dirtyness... hauntingly beautiful, smooth and simple.... very longlasting, very soft, very comfy!!

all you Profumum Roma Dambrosia lovers- this is almost exact dupe of it!! wonderful creamy coconut with very sophisticated vanilla, milky green fig and fruity accord... wonderful mixture od Phylosikos/Dambrosia/Azuree Soleil... what a fantastic scent!!I'm very pleased!!! (I'll keep you informed about sillage and longievity...I've just put it on me...) UNFORTUNATELY- 3 hrs, and I've been generous...oh,such a shame... (edit: after a while, my love for this one just kept on growing...this is a splendid scent, too bad it is now nowhere to be found....)

Fragrances -Montale - Roses Elixir
rated 2 of 5
cocorocha 9/5/2012 5:59:00 AM

Boring, generic, uninspirative rose/strawberry scent!! together with awful Sunset Flowers, the most uninteresting Montale scent there is...good thing is that it isn't as sweet as I expected, but nevertheless I don't quite get Mr.Montale's intention or idea when making it.... nothing even remotely exciting or innovative... passing on this one big time! Montale dissappointed me and keeps on dissapointing me...

beautiful powdery/talcum perfume... like a cross between JHAG's Citizen Queen and LV Teint de Neige... amazing, excentric and luxurious powder with Nivea on the top:)) (well, now I pinned it exactly- Ombre Rose Brosseau, spot on!) edit: more I wear it, the more I like it....it is really remarkable, comming from very confusing Montale's kitchen...

no,not expensive...VERY,VERY EXPENSIVE...but know what? it is definitely worth every single dime.. All the fantasticaly beautiful perfumes made by a very recognizable and quality niche brand Profumum are gorgeous! with almost unbelievable quantity of oil component (42%), these gems are heavy weight diamonds that smell unique, luxurious and there isn't a single one of them (ok perhaps Thundra) that I wouldn't buy...yes, buy.... Dambrosia is a gentle, soft and silky sap and fig wrapped in vanilla, followed by creamy almond and just a hint of aromatic grapes...for me, this is the most amazing fig scent, made for everyday wearing....now, who has cca. 250$ spare to give to me...? it is out of this world fig... sillage, longievity- the best ever...due to the content of oil.. EDIT II. OH YEAH,BOUGHT IT, and now I'm making love to it...slowly....)
