Eye Shadow -MAC - Trax

It's a great plum color with bits of gold in it. I can use it on my whole lid or just on the crease with All That Glitters. Only problem is that it doesn't go on as smoothly as other MAC eyeshadows. I have to put on layer after layer to get it dark enough.

My husband bought this foundation for me a couple of years ago, when I had a MAC mu play around with colors on my face. She went all out and my husband ended up loving the look, so he wanted to buy everything she used. Which, included this sheer foundation. I normally do not use liquid foundation. For the most part, my skin is pretty clear, but it can use something to even out the skintone. I only use this on the weekend to go out or to go to an event (I really do not have the time to put on makeup). Once I have the foundation on, I put some sheer powder and it gives me a nice air brushed look. When I wear this, people are always complimenting me on my skintone and skin. I use an NC45 in both the foundation and powder. Like many posts have said, this is probably for a person who doesn't need too much coverage. Now, someone said that this is to be discontinued.....now I'm going to have to fugure out how to preserve this liquid foundation!

Eye Shadow -MAC - All That Glitters

I went in looking for another highlighting eyeshadow and the MAC rep showed me this color. At first, it looked a bit pale for my skin, but the rep convinced me that it would work well with my skintone. Besides, she was just about my skintone and she was able to wear it. Gotta say that I love it! It adds the right amount of highlight that I need in the corners of my eyes and on my brow bone. I blends well with other colors and it really puts the finishing touch on my eye make up. Thanks MAC rep, for introducing me to this color!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sushi Flower eyeshadow

I bought this color last summer because I thought I needed a pink shadow that was darker than Girlie. It sat in my makeup bag untouch, until now. When I first looked at the color, I was shocked at how pink it was. I decided that I can blend it on with Diamonds and Smoke....it turned out that they work well together. I got so many compliments on it today. It was the right amount of pink that I needed to blend it in with the grey. I don't think I would wear this color on my whole lid?!

This was my first "smokey" eyeshadow. I was one of those girls who wouldn't dare try the smokey look becuase I'd end up looking hurt! This color is great...I can wear it on the crease or just wear it plain on my lid. During the week, I really don't have time to play with my makeup, so I end up buying eyeshadows that are easy to apply. I like that I can use this by itself or mis it with other colors like honey lust. The only thing that I;m not crazy about is, that sometimes I can have a hard time putting it on because its not all that smooth.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Cranberry eye shadow

On my skintone, cranberry appears to be a dark pink with a bit of red in it. I love how easy it is to apply such a strong color. It's also easy to blend with others. I don't like when I get a strong color and its difficult to put on because your likely to mess it up. I probably like it more because its easy to apply.

Styling Products -Sunsilk - Captivating Curls Gel & Cream Twist

I use Sunsilk's Anti-Frizz cream, so I thought that this gel & cream twist would be great for my curly hair. NOT! It completely dried out my hair and it managed to make my naturally curly hair straight. I couldn't wait to go home and add some other product into it. It made my hair flat and my hair had no shine what so ever! It turned out to be very dull.....as if I hadn't just washed it that morning. Very disappointed.....but I only spent $3., so its not going to break me. I would maybe recommend it to someone who has oily hair. My hair is only oily when its straight, otherwise it's normal. The packaging is cute because you can see the cream and gel combination looking like a twister.

I always have few of these laying around the house. I put it on before I put on mousse (I need something stronger to hold my curls). It tames the frizzy hair, without changing the texture of your hair. If I do get frizzies because of the weather, I put some in my hair the night before and wake up with soft curls.

It's hard for me to find a perfume that goes along with my body chemistry. I tend to go for a musky, woodsy scents. The first time I smelled it, it was on one of those little pieces of paper. I had it in my pocketbook and it kept haunting me. I finally went back and tried it on my wrist (I cannot buy a perfume unless I wear it first) and wore it and loved it! Finally, on my third trip I bought it! I love it! White Linen is also one of my favorite perfumes, if this helps anyone... **Update** As much as I love this perfume, it doesn't last long on my skin. I do not smell it at the end of the day and I guess no one else does bc no one has mentioned the smell to me....lol! I'd have to think twice about purchasing it again bc of this.

This product is perfect when you want to freshen up, but don't want to have to take all of your makeup off. My face would get so oily that people would ask why was I sweating?!? These little sheets were definitely a lifesaver. But....since wearing MAC prime & prep, there hasn't been a need for me to use one.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Wet/Dry Eyeliner- All Shades

Chocolate Bar is my favorite color in this line of eyeliners. It goes on smoothly and gives you an appearance of a smudge liner. The brown compliments my skin tone, as well as my eye color. Very natural! It appears to have been discontinued, so I had to go on ebay to buy some.

I've been using this liner for years. I love that I don't have to sharpen it and it comes on so smoothly. I can create a precise line using this pencil. Over the years, many people thought I was wearing a liquid eyeliner, but it was this pencil that created that look. I never had a problem with it smudging and I tend to have oily lids. I took away a lippie because the last one that I purchased appears to have dried out. I didn't even have it for two months when this happened. It may have been an old pencil...who knows, since it doesn't have a exp date.

Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Oil-free eye makeup remover liquid

I bought this to try it out. I've been using L'Oreal eye makeup remover forever, so I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, its not all that good. It removes your eye makeup, but not thoroughly. It definitely doesn't condition the eye area and like the previous post said it leaves makeup behind.

It does what it says....seals the eye makeup, but I wasn't crazy about it because it made my brush stiff and if you wait too long, it will make putting on your makeup a bit difficult. Because once it dries, its difficult to add or blend anymore colors. It definitely seals your eyeshadow, but its difficult to blend in colors.

Primer/ Corrector -Bare Escentuals - Prime Time

This is the first primer that I've ever used and it was okay. It does give you a smooth look and my face does not get all that oily. If I rub this on my face too much, it starts to flake...I don't like that. I also don't like that it hards to tell when you are about to finish the product. It's recommended that you do not put it on your lids and my lids happen to be oily, so I need to put something else on there. Basically, I found something better once I finished this primer. I now use MAC's Prep and Prime. It has an SPF, goes on smoothly, I can put some on my lids, prevents my face from becoming oily, and I don't have to use a moisturizer when I use this primer. With BE, I still had to use a mouisturizer.
