I am torn on this one. The scent is awesome, I just love it. I smells very clean and fresh with wonderful water notes. It is light and refreshing on but does not last on me. I don't know if I would repurchase because the lasting power seems like minutes on me but it smells so wonderful. Maybe I need to purchase another product and layer it for more lasting results.
This is a GREAT lipstick. The color is the most perfect rose on me. The texture is rich and creamy, the best I have ever tried. This stuff wears like a dream. It does not dry my lips and last for hours. I love this formula from MAC. I will be buying more colors. It also has a nice vanilla scent to it. Awesome, check it out!
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Tutti Dolci - Mango Sorbetto Souffle

I love this line of body products. I bought this at the after Christmas sale for 50%off. It is more of a peach scent than mango but still very nice. It smells like a juicy peach and the scent lasts forever on me, I layer it with the body wash and the scent last all day. I love the texture of this lotion and it keeps my skin so soft. I am not real crazy about the glass jar but it does look pretty sitting on my table. I will repurchase many many more scent. The full price is a bit much, around $19, but BBW is always having sales and giving coupons.
Lotions/ Creams -Philosophy - The gingerbread man- body souffle
bigemom 1/18/2006 11:19:00 AM
This is not a *gingerbread* scent, it is more of a ginger ale scent. It reminds me a lot of BBW white tea and ginger. The souffle is a bronze color that does tint my skin slightly but I don't notice the shimmer that the other reviewers mentioned. The texture is more thin than thick but applies like a dream. I really like this scent but for the money will probably just buy the BBW products.
Once again I am bring down a decent rating with my review. This was an awful gloss/lipstick. I am not sure what this is considered but it seems more like a liquid lipstick to me. The scent is much better than other Milani glosses I have tried, it was kind of fruity. The color is what was terrible, this had a metallic sheen to it and it applies VERY unevenly. I could not get a good layer of this stuff on. It is very thin and smooth. The color was a light pink/nude/gold color which is very pretty in the tube but I just could not get this stuff on my lips correctly. Milani is very hit or miss for me and this one is a dud but I was only out about $2.
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Tutti Dolci - Apple Torta
bigemom 1/11/2006 3:31:00 PM
This a great gloss. The color looks dark red brown in the tube but goes on my lips a sheer red with sparkles, it's just gorgeous. The color is so sheer that you could wear it anywhere. The scent is awesome and smells of apples (of course) but I also smell pastries in it. The gloss applies smoothly and it not gritty or sticky. Lasting time is not the best with this gloss but that probably because I tend to lick my lips a lot when I wear this one. I will be buying more flavors of these.
I really like this product. It comes in a squeeze tube and has a vanilla scent to it, much like the lipglass. The texture is what makes this lip product awesome. It is slick without any stickiness or tackiness. The color is a beautiful muted pink that is just a shade or two darker than my normal lip color. It just makes my look better without looking made up at all. It does leave your lips shiny and soft. Love this new product from MAC.
I wasn't expecting much from this cheap brand but I was pleasantly suprised. This color is a dead ringer for Urban Decay Baked. I tried them on both side by side and the color was exact. The come in a little flip top pot and cost about $3 but Walgreens has sales freqently and you get them even cheaper. Give this one a try, it is very inexpenive and a decent product.
I hate to be the one to bring down the decent rating on this BUT . . . Milani is very hit or miss with me. This was the nastiest gloss I have ever tried. The color was nice and very sheer, a coral pink with sparkles in it. The smell is what I could not get past, it was horrible. I don't even know if I can describe the rancid scent that was in my tube. The color went on nicely but the sparkles were very gritty and felt rough on my lips. I know this stuff is about $2 but I seriously could not get past the smell on this on. Maybe I got a bad tube but I will not be repurchasing.
I have this lipstick in Halo. I didn't expect much from such a cheap brand but I kept reading rave reviews here so I decided to give it a try. The color is perfect. It is the shade a pink I have been searching for. It gives the look of almost not wearing makeup, it's like when you see pictures of women and they look naturally beautiful but you know that they are wearing some cosmetics but the colors are so natural and sheer that it just enhances their appearance without screaming PINK LIPSTICK. This gives my lips that natural beautiful flush that is just a notch or two above my natural color. The scent is vanilla and very nice. The color glides on like a dream and does not dry out my lips. It wears an average time. This is a huge product from such a cheap drugstore brand. What a find! I also found mine on sale so it was about $2 for the tube and I would have easily paid $10-12 without blinking an eye for this. Awesome product.
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Goldie lipgloss in Baby
bigemom 1/11/2006 3:01:00 PM
I received a small tube of this gloss when my mom purchased a tote full of samples and coupons. This gloss is in the cutest container, looks very much like a flower with fluted ends. It comes with a doe foot application and has the yummiest vanilla/cake batter scent. The texture is smooth and glides on easily, not sticky or tacky. The color is gorgeous but I am a sucker for any and all pink gloss. This is the perfect baby pink gloss with lots of sparkle. It adds just the right amount of pigment and has high shine and sparkle. The sparkle is smooth and does not feel gritty at all. The lasting power is average, like most glosses. By the way, the regular size gloss comes in a rectangle shaped tube which is very different from the tube my small gloss came in. The regular price for this gloss is $14 so I don't think that I will be repurchasing unless I have a coupon or there is a sale but Bath and Body works seems to always be having sales so I will eventually try another color.
I received this with a kit I bought at BBW. I have heard and read tons about Smith's salve and this is suppose to be very similiar so I was glad that I got the chance to try it out. It comes in a blue tin that is very generously sized. The scent is roses but I find that it is very subtle, I have to hold it closely to me nose to even get a whiff of it. It goes on the lips very smoothly and makes them feel instantly moisturized. The texture is slick with no tackiness or stickiness. It leaves my lips feels awesome and slightly shiny but by no means glossy. It also leaves no tint on my very pale lips. This is a great lip treatment, effective and subtle looking. I have read elsewhere that you can also use on other areas such as cuticles. A effective and inexpensive treatment.
I will agree with most of the other reviewers here. This is NOT a dramatic mascara. The formula is drier than others and it has a very full brush. It coats the perfect amount of mascara on my lashes without any clumps and gives a very pretty and natural look. Most mascaras clump on the wand (Max Factor Lash Perfection being one of the worst) and I just am too lazy to deal with it but this applies very easily. It wears decent and does not flake or smear. It is a very nice everyday mascara. The price is right at under $10. I received it as a GWP but would consider buying when it runs out.
Scrubs -Neutrogena - Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Scrub
bigemom 12/19/2005 9:58:00 AM
Wow, this stuff is great. I have very acne prone sensitive skin. If a product doesn't cause me to break out then I will normally get a scaly red rash from it. This did neither, a miracle for me. I have tried tons of products out there and so far this is one of the best, from department store to drugstore store. I had been using Aveeno scrub but found it a little drying this winter so I picked this up at Walmart. The scrub has a nice orange scent to it. It comes in a creamy type base with little smooth round scrubbies in it. Some of the other reviewers mentioned that the scrubbies weren't strong enough for them but I found them perfect. It has AHA and BHA in it and left my face soft and glowing. The directions say to use daily but I will probably stick to every other day because I can image that this might get a little drying. But so far so good, I love this stuff. No break outs, no rash and it got rid of all my flakes. I will update if reactions occur but right now I am considering buying the matching cleanser and giving it a try also.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Revlon Lustrous Lipgloss Get Reddy
bigemom 11/23/2005 1:39:00 PM
This is one of the best drugstore glosses. It last a decent amount of time on me and has no scent or flavor. Get Reddy is the perfect red gloss for me. It does not turn pink but stays a true red. It does have some very very fine shimmer glitter but is very wearable. I am very fair and have only recently discovered how stricking the darker glosses can look.
