Eyeliner -Avon - Glimmersticks eye liner

I bought a bunch and regretted buying them. They're waxy and hard to apply and the packaging is bad for the environment. It goes on light. To get a true colour you really have to stab your lids. I much prefer annabelle kohl liners.

Eyeliner -Annabelle - Kohl Pencil Crayon in "Black"

My absolute HG black liner. I will always have one in my makeup case as long as they are produced. The only product I've used for 5+ years. The stick lasts forever and is totally worth the money. This is a very dark, perfectly true black. This liner has been there for some of my life's most memorable moments. It has the consistency and effect of indian kohl liners.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Eyeshadow in General

I love annabelle cream eyeshadow and kohl pencil liner but I hate their powder shadows. The colours go on sheer and a lot duller than they seem in the pan. I bought a golden coloured single eyeshadow that looked *very* different on me than it did in the pan, the colours are not highly pigmented and don't go on true. They are better for highlighting and contouring than as shadows. Ultimately I threw it away.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Trio eyeshadow in Crème Caramel

I'm not a fan. The colours go on sheer and look different/duller on skin than they do in the pan. Better for highlighting and contouring than as a shadow IMHO.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Eyecolour Creme Eyeshadow Quartet
rated 5 of 5

I'm extremely surprised by the bad reviews. I think maybe people don't know how to use this. I find it works best a) applied with a liner brush thickly as a shimmery eyeliner b) applied *thinly* all over the lid with a finger as an eyeshadow primer. As a primer if applied thinly it works as well as mac paint pots. It has exactly the same consistency and everything. It's also a great highlighter on cheeks etc. The dark plum corner in the quad I have is great as a creme blush. Awesome product, I will always have some in my makeup kit. Don't write it off because of its drugstore price. The secret is to use a light hand unless you're applying it as liner, and to layer it with eyeshadows if you want more pigment (it works great as a primer ladies). The negative reviews here have a pattern - they wanted an opaque look, caked a lot on (thus making it crease) and didn't apply eyeshadow on top. Use it properly and you will love it.

Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - L de Lolita Lempicka

L is a sweet, musky, woody vanilla. Smells orangey and warm. Comparable to TM Angel, but not as sickeningly sweet and it lacks the stench of patchouli. Still, it's an odd little scent and I wouldn't say it's entirely pleasant. I'm not a big fan of gourmand orientals because there's something sickly about most of them. Florientals are less offensive and more fresh.

Smells warm and spicy. Not quite my thing. It's a little cloying and kinda reminds me of a much lighter version of victoria secrets very sexy for her.

On me it smells very floral and kind of like j'adore. It smells nice and classy, expensive and sophisticated. The sweetness in the scent is there but it's more subtle than in other perfumes. Smells like a night at the opera. I can't see myself wearing this all the time though. I'm not an 'opera' kinda gal.

Sugary without being cloying. This is really nice. This is everyday cosy and attractive without trying.

I'll be the odd girl out who doesn't like it. It's a difficult scent to describe. It doesn't really smell like anything except maybe beach. Not in a good way, on me. Smells musky and I don't enjoy wearing it. Use a light hand and maybe this is nice, but if you put too much on it smells very masculine.

Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy for Her
rated 2 of 5

This is a strong, spicy scent with a tiny heart of sweetness. It smells slightly masculine to me. All the spice, and some hidden note inside gives it a very energetic kick. I was expecting to like this but it's not my kind of perfume. It's a little too manly, too much like a feminine version of old spice. Apparently it is very sexy on the right person, but it's just not for me. Maybe if I use a light hand and water it down I'll like it better.

Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Baby Doll

The price is somewhat reasonable (I was surprised - it's YSL!) and this scent is gorgeous. The flowery notes are light and it is sweet. Could be my favorite perfume ever. This sets the bar high. Young, fresh and yummy. If you can't get a hold of the real thing, grab a dupe online asap. Rose is my favorite scent on me so I'm not surprised that I like this.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel
rated 1 of 5

Angel smells like sweet, fermented garbage to me. Not exaggerating! It's one of the nastiest smells I've ever smelled. Maybe it goes on different if you have the right chemistry, but I think it's gross out of the bottle too. Not sure why so many people like this one. It has a pretty bottle, it's expensive and unique but it smells like sickly sweet garbage. The wood and the patchouli and the vanilla all together combine to make angel much less than the sum of its parts. There are many many notes and they clash with each other. Angel smells like a dirty man (it has some masculine notes like patchouli), and sort of like liquorice. Apparently women like the smell of black liquorice and everyone knows women like men, so I think subconsciously that's why so many people like this scent.
